He's due about 1 mill for the rest of the season. I'd imagine he could get us a 5th or 6th round pick if the Rams pick up his salary
I’d take that easily with this next draft class.
This was also just posted on the Rams/Eagles pre-game thread but I'm not a fan of the guy that posted it.

He's a dick

La'ell Collins released by Bengals. Any interest. Coming off a knee injury.

So how is it that people who shit on Van say he needs to be benched as our #6 or #7 WR think we're going to "get a good pick" for him? I'm trying to connect the dots on this logic.
Fans tend to over value their team's players when it comes to trade prospects. If Van was another team and they made it known he's on the trade block, I wouldn't want my team to give up more than a late day 3 pick.

In addition to LB Matt Milano, the Bills lost interior DL DaQuan Jones to a season-ending torn pec.

Buffalo has now lost three defensive starters (CB Tre'Davious White) to season-ending injuries.

The Jets lost their best OL Alijah Vera-Tucker to a torn Achilles.

Feel like he could definetly help this OLine
I don't know. I think Collins has only played Right Tackle in the NFL. Unless Havenstein is injured (he did leave yesterday's game in the fourth quarter), don't know where Collins could fit.

Aside from his injuries, Collins failed some drug tests, and had his suspension increased (I believe) because he attempted to bribe the drug-tester.

It appears that Bobby Brown's injury is not season-ending.

Described as a Grade 3 ACL sprain that should cost him 5-7 weeks per McVay, making short-term-IR likely.

Hope they add/sign a big body in the short-term but not expecting it.

I guess that's the best news considering how bad the coaching staff thought it would be. Hope he heals fast.

Rams filled their open Practice Squad spot ... Austin Trammel was added to the 53 last week.

Linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi (6' 2" / 240 lbs / 24) who has been with four teams the past two seasons, mostly on their Practice Squads.

This guy needs to become a thing so we can hear Aikman and Romo butcher the hell out of his name. Not that we'll ever be on their broadcasts :D

So, you saying that the Falcons/Rams, essentially swapped WR Austin Trammel for WR Van Jefferson, eh???
:wow2:

Jaylyn Holmes was cut by Jets, could be a decent DE, former 4th rd pick from Minnesota

Holmes (6-5, 283) first signed with the Jets in August before he was cut and joined the practice squad. He was drafted by the Vikings in the fourth round out of Ohio State in 2018 and appeared in 25 games (9 starts) in three seasons while tallying 43 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 2 pass defenses. Holmes then played with the Saints in 2021 before a stint with the Giants in 2022.
