If you were the Rams' Decision-makers, what would you be willing to give-up?

Second round pick easily, if it's based on a sign-and-trade. He's a former #2 overall pick, and he'll be amazing on the opposite side of Byron Young with AD and The Conductor wreaking havoc in the middle.

Thank you (sincerely) for being realistic; and not suggesting a 2025 4th round pick, a 2024 6th round pick, plus Earnest Brown and Brycen Hopkins because that might have made me cry a little.

I don't know that I would want the Rams to give-up their 2024 second round draft choice just yet because I'm not sure how high they will be drafting, and because there could be some quality Edge players in free agency.

I prefer Montez Sweat over Chase Young. Less injuries and better production

Young's only twenty-four; Sweat will be twenty-seven at free agency, and I'd rather have the younger player for a longer time.

At 24, Chase Young is 3 years younger than Sweat, ... Sweat might be the more affordable trade partner.

I want someone to grow with Byron Young for a long time. Young fits that more than Sweat does.

I understand the age thing, but Sweat isn't old either at 27 and can also grow with our own Young. He's healthier and produced on a more consistent basis than Chase Young. Chase Young has had too many injuries. I'll take the more consistent guy with on the field production and availability.

Just to show, there's really no comparison in Sweat vs Young to me

Chase Young is still benefiting from his college reputation. IMO
Injuries obviously a big part of it, but he hasn’t come close to what was thought he’d be.
Young to me is like Fowler. He’d thrive next to AD and then would have to be overpaid because of it

Chase’s name is bigger than his production.
Btw, I can’t believe he’s only 24. I’m still not sure anything more/bigger is coming from him though.

Report in The Athletic

Burns has been getting calls for the Panthers but they don't plan to trade him though there are a few players they're shopping.

Commodes have received calls on both Young and Sweat, I'll take Sweat TY.

Vikings have had calls about Hunter but nothing big enough for them, hard pass they want too much and he's over rated IMO.

Jets are shopping Carl Lawson

I'd call the Colts about Ebukam.
