Thank you for the great entertainment my brother :D

I forgot we had so many NFL front office people and scouts on this board. I am not a fan of the player but this draft just like every draft proves these comments about when a player will and won't get drafted are complete nonsense. We fans don't know a damned thing about it. How many here "knew" Gibbs would be there for our pick at 36? People were worried Adebawore would be gone before we picked at 36. Lets not forget a certain TE named Washington.
C'mon now....No one "knew" Gibbs would be there at #36.. We surely hoped he would be, but much of what you heard from me was joke. Everyone had their pet picks that they wanted and I was gently mocking them a bit by promoting a possibly unrealistic player. Although some draft guru's did say that Gibbs would make it to the 2nd round and I would have wanted him there. But I knew it was unlikely and had fun promoting him. You use sarcasm a lot, which I normally appreciate. Just know that some of us are amusing ourselves in different ways.

Big RT. Perhaps a succession plan for Havenstein. I wanted Jones for that reason. Never dislike taking a lineman!

McClendon means depth turnover which is welcome. But I'd really like a corner.

Jake B. Is reporting out next pick is TE Davis Allen....

Never a bad idea to go OL and OT. Surprised we went that way and not skill guy

Not concerned with weight at QB. He's one of those assholes who can eat what he wants and never gain a pound. Bastid.

I'm more of a height guy with that position. I don't like short signal callers, I think it's hard enough playing QB at this level without being able to see a full field.
You Pat Haden hating bastid!

Davis Allen, TE. I actually like that.

Brugler:

Overall, Allen isn’t overly dynamic as a receiver, but his body control and catch radius are among the best in this tight end draft class, and he shows real promise as a blocker. With his talent and character, he has intriguing development potential.
