Not concerned with weight at QB. He's one of those assholes who can eat what he wants and never gain a pound. Bastid.
I was like that once...6-5' 195

Now 6-5" 250... unfortunately not proportioned the way these football players are.

Some good TE’s out there. Id gladly double dip here, Mallory/Kuntz & th ND State kid
Notre Dame Center Patterson would look great in horns too

The pick sucked.
We all know it.
The draft has been great, they’ve done an amazing job. But they screwed the pooch on this one.
Default to just “they know better than us” commentary is just nonsense.
Just means “I have no opinion”
We all have an opinion and none of us know what they're going to do in the draft. None of us know the NFL teams rankings but we sure are throwing random shit around like we do. I just heard Eisen say this was a record number of QB's taken in the first 150 picks of the draft. Almost like the NFL teams know more about the players and what other teams are going to do than we do and have a different grade on the players than we do. I don't like the player anymore than anybody else around here but this complaining we picked somebody too early is just laughable when we don't know shit.

So looking at the prospect tracker on the NFL site, the highest rated guys are safety Antonio Johnson out of Texas A&M and CB Terrell Smith out of Minnesota. Both were rating as eventual plus starters.

I don't really follow this draft stuff much so I go by things like the prospect scoring system. Those two guys were rated higher than some picked in the second and third rounds.

I'd be ok with Kuntz, Xavier Hutchinson, Dwayne McBride, Chase Brown, Luke Wypler, Ivan Pace, or AT Perry

Ha. I make that joke all the time. At 6'0" 210, I have ideal weight and size for an NFL running back. Don't think I'd pass the eye-test though.

Or maybe it's fun to have a place where we share our shitty fan opinions with other shitty fans. But then of course there's gonna be someone painstakingly reminding us that we're not the experts.

Way I see it is let people vent. It's funny as hell at times yes. But just like the gameday thread everyone has their way of dealing. This is about us getting together and sharing those shitty opinions.

Hags just took Olusegun Oluwatimi. I'm pissed that they're having such a hell of a draft.

JL Skinner is another guy I wouldn't mind seeing us pick. A tall 6'4" safety. I saw some mocks with him in the 3rd round.

And our random shit is quite frequently more right than wrong so....

Although we can be completely wrong on some players. Let's hope that Stetson is one of those players that we are completely wrong on.

Don't worry, the experts don't know shit too sometimes. We all don't know shit but fuck it, I'm going to say dumb move but fuck it, what do I know and laugh about it cuz in all honesty someone is always wrong or right. I'd rather be wrong in this case lol

there is still some linebacker talent out there, too. Lots of directions to go here - and several picks to use

The QB thing is out of the way - and if we believe the brass, they got their guy. Now let’s fill out the roster

Goddammit, the 69ers took one of my favorite late round corners in Luter.
