Offhand, does anyone know how we lost our own picks in the 4th and 5th? Whatever it was, NEP has our 4th, CLE has our 5th. Both could have nabbed us solid players.

The Eagles draft could either be a top ten in their history or it could blow up in their faces horribly. Carter was completely off my board, and Ringo's apparently got character issues, but if they have their heads on straight, they could dominate.

I don't put too much stock in pre-draft rankings. But man. The Eagles are absolutely killing it in this draft, at least based on where their picks "should" have been selected...

Ringo to the fucking Eagles. I hate them. If his character concerns are ok, wow, the whole Georgia D is on their team now.

They really believe they have a strong locker room right now to take on character guys like him and Carter. A year or two ago I would have said that about us but we need to develop some new leaders. Interestingly enough, I think Avila goes a long way towards building that back up.

Dealt a fifth to Cleveland for Troy Hill, dealt a fourth and an earlier sixth for Sony Michel.

Ugh:

NEP have our 4th for Sony Michel. Have to think there are several backs here that I'd prefer lol, however, Sony helped us with the SB
CLE has our 5th for Troy Hill

Didn't hurt at time, but does now

Do you consider giving up a pick or so that we got yesterday to move up for AA? He is another guy that could possibly start day 1

Might be a good bet. The Rams did that, to a lesser degree, recently. We took on "attitude" players like OBJ, Marcus Peters, Suh, Ramsey, Dante Fowler. All had 0 issues while in horns. But we had strong leaders in the locker room like Whitworth, Woods, Talib (even if a bit of a wild card himself that we took on!), Donald, etc. Some still remain but many of our older leaders are gone.

Sony Michel for the pick to NE

Agreed. Sony was key to our Super Bowl season. He basically carried the offence at some points down the stretch. Well worth the 4th round pick.

With several 5th round picks, I would like to see the Rams trade up to a higher 4th round selection if there is a really good value player sitting there that the staff likes.

I guess we are really more in need of DB/WR

Ramsey gets crap for being so outspoken but everyone in the locker room and on staff said he was an exceptional leader (but yes, he was a malcontent before he got here in Jax).

Yes, there is several guys I would like to trade up for, problem is, the staff has a better feel for when the guys they like will go off the board. Nobody thought AA would still be here. There has to be some unreported issue with him.

AA goes to the Colts. What a fucking steal. I'm sad
