Cleveland Browns
Identified the needs as
LB, DE,
OT, S, WR, OG, DT, OLB . Fair to say I went for athletic prowess with a focus on the defensive side of the ball … which may be hit or miss – we shall see.
44. Daxton Hill , FS , Michigan
Hill has played all over the secondary for the Wolverines, and this versatility is always in demand in the NFL especially when paired with supreme athletic skills. Ran a 4.38 at the combine which may catapult him into the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft where pro teams are going to be wowed by his sky-high potential. A possible star at the next level if not rushed into action too soon.
78. Damone Clarke, ILB, LSU
Damone Clark is a promising pro prospect, who has some immense upside. He's got the ideal size for a middle linebacker, is strong, has elite speed, and is an overall elite athletic talent who put up massive numbers in 2021 while playing against top-level opposition in the SEC. Inconsistency is an issue - and until 2021 he was an underwhelming player who underachieved given his outstanding athletic talent. Expecting him to be called in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
81. Logan Hall, DE, Houston
Hall is an amazing athlete possessing an elite combination of strength, height, long arms, and ridiculous speed as well as change of direction skills. He also is a natural run defender who seems to spend half his game in the backfield - he's just too powerful for most interior linemen to handle. His upside is immense and Hall has the skills to be elite at the NFL level. Has only had a single year as a full-time starter. In addition, NFL teams may struggle to find a perfect spot for him to play, and isn't a natural fit in most defensive systems. Developmental prospect but with quite possibly the highest upside of anybody in the class and well worth a second-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.
99. Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama
Didn’t identify a CB as high on the list of Browns needs however Josh Jobe is an athletic corner with nice size, length, and overall strength. He excels as a run defender and is a solid tackler but has a number of issues. It's difficult to see Jobe as an early starter in his pro career - he's just a little too raw and could be a liability in coverage. As a pure corner he's more likely to be viewed as a late-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. So maybe I picked him a little early however many of the CB’s I was looking at had already been picked.
118. Kyren Williams, RB/WR, Notre Dame
Kyren is one of those players I just like. I saw a couple of ND games last season and Williams is a very talented and versatile back who has established himself as one of the top runners in this year's class. He is capable of taking a pounding up the middle as well as being a shifty outside runner and is a threat to go the distance whenever he is in space. The jury is still out as to what extent he can be an every-down back in the NFL and as a result, maybe third – fourth round - expect him to have a nice NFL career – would like to see him at the Rams under good coaching to see what he could do in the right system.
202. Alec Lindstrom, OL, Boston College
I have a confession to make – I meant to pick Alec up for Washington not Cleveland

. Lindstrom has an excellent technique and is an elite pass protector and a good run blocker. He however is a little undersized and can be physically dominated by bigger defenders. Has a moderate ceiling due to his average strength and high football IQ. Lindstrom is probably the fourth-fifth best centre in a weak draft class - expect to hear his name called in the fourth or fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
223. Leon O’Neal Jr, S, Texas A&M
Does a very good job of reading the eyes of the quarterback and reacting with good field awareness and ball skills. Good instincts and anticipation reads and reacts with discipline. Dangerous with the ball in his hands. Could be picked up anywhere between 150 –> to being picked up as a FA.
246. Chris Paul, OG, Tulsa
Best asset is his strength and disposition as a run blocker. Gives a strong initial punch. Above-average football smarts and general intelligence. Plays with a nasty streak. Solid character and work ethic. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets picked up between 150-200.
