Seems odd to pick him when they had good LBers and other needs. He apparently was t good enough to unseat who they had.

Sometimes BPA isn’t always the best strategy maybe?

Collins is an absolute freak in a different mold than Simmons (Collins being, what, 6'4", 260 lbs. and Simmons being a bit smaller and yet more of a freak than even Collins). They were always intending on him to wait behind Hicks.

I don’t get it. Why do so many teams spend so much on free agents only to cut them before their deal is up? It’s kind of sucks for the player.
I kind of feel bad, but a lot of that is on the agent to explain when the deal is signed. I'm guessing a lot of players don't even want to hear about how they won't see the last 20 million of their deal if they aren't performing at a high level. For anyone except superstars, it's basically year one + guaranteed money, and everything else is year-to-year.

I just looked at Aaron Jones' "extension" he signed. If he makes it through more than a year of that deal, it'll be a miracle. He has a $20 million cap hit in 2023.

Another question that’s equally as important is why so many Rams fans wish for reunions when any of our former players are cut by their team. I swear every post - Saffold, Littleton, Fowler - people are asking for a reunion. We cut them for a reason and it’s unlikely they come back. Just weird to me lol

generally because they didn't live up to the contract. the teams are probably saying they can't believe they gave up so much money for that stiff.

I mostly agree with your reunion comments/opinion. However, none of these players were "cut" by the Rams.

I just have so many memories of him chasing people down on defense because he was never in the right position whether in the run game or pass game.
Are you getting him confused with Barron during his last couple seasons? Bc Littleton was a stud. There's a reason we couldn't afford him.
