Good for Josh. I wish him well in Detroit. He played really well down the stretch! I would prefer him to Van Jefferson for this roster, honestly. Both are soft but Reynolds at least is a big target. We don't have any of those right now. Van is better deep but we have other players that could also fit that role IMO.

I'm quite surprised we haven't seen any Rams extensions yet

Rams probably know these guys are all gonna get inflated contracts due to Super Bowl glitter all over them. I'm fine with taking a frugal approach here too, outside of Von who I want to retain. Odell should be short and incentive-driven.

If they start locking up guys I'll be surprised though. It sucks but this model means average Joes move on.

I keep thinking of that DB for the Cowboys that got SB mvp and was offered a big contract. He was league average at best.

Was his name Larry Brown?

I think we have to pay Donald and Stafford before we can do anything else. Likely that is what they are waiting for. McVay too, but that's not relevant to the salary cap.

I doubt it happens but you never know as apparently the Rams really wanted Wagner coming out of college. He'd be a huge upgrade over Reeder. And Wagner might enjoy giving the big "F U" to Seattle for releasing him.
