I was born and raised in Queens. Walking distance from Shea Stadium, where the Jets played.

Many family members, friends, co-workers and acquaintances that are life-long Jets’ fans.

I can say, without hesitation or animosity, New York Jets’ fans are weird. I mean like bizarrely-weird. Like Kooky.

Almost all of them think their Jets are the worst team in the NFL. Not bad … the absolute worst.
UNLESS, they’re not.
THEN, their beloved-Jets are the absolute best team in the NFL, and the Lombardi is all but secured.

There is No in-between.
And these extreme views can … and do … change within a matter of weeks.

So I assume all Jets fans think their team is the worst team in the NFL this year.

Yeah but if they open the season with a couple surprise wins, a majority of those same fans will become confident that their Jets will be this year's Bengals but will win the Super Bowl.

What!!! I was positive the Rams were going to the Super Bowl after they went 5 & 1 in the first 6 games in 1995.

I guess I am Kooky.
