That is funny, but Garrett was def a standout because when he got those two sacks in a preseason game, the entire D was losing their damn minds jumping up and down which tells me that he wasn't just a camp body or some ST guy who's gone in a year... game recognizes game and the Rams defensive players loved this kid.

Doesn't hurt my feelings to get another guy like that.

Plus, I bet Garrett is north of 245 now and rounding into NFL form to be a pass rush specialist.

Love the motor and get off of that guy...

Get it. Just shitting around man...in the 7th round.

Another safety? Is it clear yet that we are not getting Honey Badger? All we have drafted today was secondary and 1 Edge.

Russ Yeast is an interesting pick. He's a guy who can play safety and slot CB.

We shotgunned OL a few years ago and shotgunned the secondary this year.

They find a draft that's super deep and go after the depth which I love.

Yea we only need one of these late rounders to turn into a player. If two end up being contributors in the future it's a home run.

The Rams must have a long list of UDFA offensive linemen with all the guys we may lose to free agency following the season.

Terrell Burgess and Taylor Rapp, “Yikes!”
Yeah Burgess for sure is up shit creek. Maybe Rapp too, but for some reason the Rams seem to love him.

This draft doesn't make me think either one of them is up shit creek. I'm TREMENDOUSLY underwhelmed with Burgess.. but players turn shit around.
The investment in safety was so minimal and just reflects standard roster needs, imo. Special teams and depth.
Don't get me wrong.. I'm not saying Yeast and Lake can't pass them.. I'm just saying 6th and 7th round safeties doesn't say too much to me.

They lost Juju and Reid, so they had depth holes.

With all these secondary additions you have to wonder if that crosses Mathieu off the list... hoping that means they go for Clowney or another big add somewhere else. Also they could probably comfortably trade Rapp at this point.

Looks like some well regarded and heavier RBs are going to go undrafted. Hopefully we take a flyer on someone who runs hard. Not likely, given all that we know but I can dream.

Big OT depth makes a lot of sense! Now get on the phone with my punter as an UDFA! He's got a chance to play for the SB champs!

He's got a Purdy mouth
