To me the draft is such a joke. I'm watching a guy and he says that pre draft grades are next to meaningless because we won't know how good this draft class is for three years. The first round guys have been slobbered over for a couple of months, but most of them will BUST. Acknowledging that pre draft grades are wild ass guesses, then we go the other way and laud this team or that team for killing it, winning the draft.

THIS is why I love getting proven players instead of getting my hope up on 1st and 2nd rounders....

The only problem with that is that proven players cost a lot of $. Drafted players are cheap as hell for up to 4 years. If you hit in the draft, you have so much flexibility. That said, we seem to be doing just fine with our strategy.

Yeah, he has a torn pec. That isn't a career injury. We don't need him right away either though.
We don't know if it's a career injury and it wasn't the only one holding him back either.
