If it wasn't the 9ers getting extra picks, I probably wouldn't care.
But on the heels of Flores's lawsuit, and with the seeming total absence of any pics of McDaniel's parents, this feels awfully convenient for the NFL.

That is a really interesting hire. Could have sworn McCoy was an E-P guy. Head coach is WCO.

If I had a new QB the best system to teach him is E-P for the efficient terminology. Ever heard a basic WCO call? E-P is so much better. Since all offenses run the same stuff the term "system" really just means what terminology do you speak.

Maybe Peterson wants to learn that terminology. Can't blame him there. But it's interesting with most of your young wannabe-McVay hires being WCO guys. Or maybe I'm just remembering wrong, should look it up but fuck it. :laugh2:

I just find it strange that they hired a QB coach before they hired an OC. I get it that Peterson will be somewhat of a defacto OC but still you'd think you'd want some input. Alas....

Allen's hiring of Marrone was an inspired addition. Would be funny if Allen makes some noise on the backs of that defensive unit after Asshole Face threw in the towel due to QB outlook.

Either way it's still a promotion and we've had a few OCs in title only get head coaching jobs. Obviously Allen isn't McVay, but Pleasant has had a chance to work with a lot of good/great coaches too.
