Based on your culinary conquests I'm a little surprised. There is barely any sweetness coming out of the egg foo young, then the brown gravy comes in with the sweet and sour flavor. Some places will even add peas to offset the gravy with bitterness.

I was worried 9ers would take Jones. They are setup to win now. That’s why the move for Lance was odd. They should have used those draft picks for Stafford or even Rodgers. If a rookie QB, Jones would make more sense due to timing. They just need a QB manager. Now, If/when Lance develops and is ready - who knows if the 9er window will close by then. Whatever- happy it worked out this way.

It all comes down to Lance.

I can’t help but wonder if Jones was their choice, prior to his pro day? Jones did not have a good pro day.
 
Newton is a very big target for those big defenders who like to hit big. A QB running with the ball is still not a good idea to due often. We all know those hits do damage just ask our own QB Wolford.

I don't think Jones was ever the guy. You don't trade up if Jones is your guy.

I think you’re probably right based on everything we heard up to the draft.

Do you think they liked Lance all along, or it was a Fields / Lance decision?

I think you only pay the price they did to trade up if you're doing it for a specific QB, so I'll say it was always Lance.
