Is there something I'm missing on Marvin Jones? He fits the mold of a Robert Woods type receiver just not as talented. We need speed and he has struggled with separation. Why him and not someone like John Ross

If cool and woods are staying put then I'd be more for Ross. If one got traded then it changes everything as I've mentioned plenty of times if you sign Jones cheaper and trade one of them and get a player and a pick it's essentially a 2 or 3 for 1.

That said tyreek hill lead the league in 20+ yard catches (20) 2nd was Jones (19) I believe. He also is a touchdown machine as well. If both our receivers stay and we add Jones and have Van it's nice on paper but how many balls to go around and does it stunt Van?

OL are a tour de force in this free agency. Lots of money being handed out to OLs. Maybe we should consider keeping what we got, considering the price to upgrade.

What a fuckin steal for John Ross.

Why can't the Rams get these kinds of bargain deals? Haha.

To the players lost in free agency, in the immortal words of the Main Cook of The Edmund Fitzgerald, “Fellas it’s been good to know ya.”

I know we see "pro bowl center" and get psyched, but hold your horses. Linsley wanted to be on the west coast and we weren't even in on him. Hudson will command less, but similar money. We don't have it. Think the focus should more be along the lines of Alex Mack and drafting his replacement.

Interesting, that's one way to get out at least. Would be a great pickup if we can make it work.

I don't get bringing in Marvin Jones really. I won't hate the depth if he wants to come on a reasonable deal to try and win a ring but certainly isn't a need since he's what we already have in Woods and Kupp.
My thoughts, I've heard people talk about needing a TE2 to replace Everett. What if McVay sees WR3 and TE2 as somewhat interchangeable. It's not like Everett was great at blocking.
