I had the chance to watch a good amount of Titan games over the last few seasons & was bewildered by Jackson's poor play last season. I really like this outside corner in college & I sure thought he was going to be an outstanding CB.......Rams might really be considering a go @ reclamation project on Jackson due to the below current issues @ corner.

Rams are short on experience on outside corners outside of Ramsey. Rams 2nd best corner Williams is not a done deal yet. The Rams only have 3 other corners signed. David Long, Donte Deayon & Tyrique McGhee. UDFA Deayon has been waived 6 times since 2016 & weighs 159 lbs. McGhee is also a 2020 UDFA who rode the Rams PS until he was suspended 2 games for violating the league's PED policy.

Long was an outstanding smart corner prospect from Michigan. In college, he showed all the skills & talents to be an excellent starting corner. He is short but said to be one of the best corners coming out in 2019 in press coverage. Long has looked terrible playing for the Rams.
Yeah they could do a lot worse than Jackson. Is he a good slot option?

Yeah unless the Rams aren't confident in Van Jefferson I don't really see them spending any money on a wide receiver this year. they're probably going to end up drafting a guy in the third or the round who can be a joystick, jet sweep, deep threat option. He's probably not even going to play that many snaps and I honestly don't think he'll need to anyway.

Honestly, I'd be down for Adoree. Perhaps Williams and especially Ramsey could teach him some things.

And right now, we have around 41 legit players for the 53 man roster and 6 draft picks.. we're not sitting with a good ratio.

Jackson was drafted high so he obviously has talent, and we need talent.

Can he cover? Lol
He can be a really good cover corner at times. Does have tackling issues.

However, personally, I like him better on the offensive side of the ball.

A bigger Tavon Austin who can actually catch the ball.

But then again - that's just me from what I saw out of him at USC.

Which of the four-seasons would you want to report on? Since he was cut after his 4th season obvious his 4th season was :poop:. If the Rams do sign him it would be to play as the third corner on the field unless Long gets a clue then Jackson would be the 4th corner.

In addition, if Jackson is under real considerations, it's his return skills that get the best interest up. Jackson is far more outside corner than Nickel-Back IMO.

I had no idea that he played offense

H
I had no idea that he played offense
He was a playmaker on offense when he played - very explosive

But he played both sides of the ball.

So he wasn't in on a lot of offensive plays but he did extremely well when he was in the game.

I believe the Rams can sign another free agent who was not cut without it affecting the current 2022 compensation picks formula.

So I’m guessing this is a one year deal to plug a hole and right a former first rounder who played at a high level so they can flip him for a third round comp pick when he is a free agent.

I agree with Bonifay. I don’t think he’s as much of a slot corner as he is an outside corner.

If they sign him it will be interesting to see who plays where. I think Darius could play slot and move outside in certain sets like Troy Hill.

Broncos' Von Miller: No charges filed
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Miller (ankle) will have no charges filed against him stemming from an investigation by the Parker (Col.) Police Department, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Miller had been subject to an investigation for unspecified allegations by the Parker Police Department since mid-January, but the District Attorney's office from 18th Judicial District has now decided not to file any charges. Broncos general manager George Paton recently announced that he wants to bring Miller back for 2021, per Aric DiLalla of the team's official site, and the resolution of the veteran linebacker's legal situation could smooth out negotiations. Miller's anticipated cap hit for 2021 is $22.2 million, too rich a figure for a player coming off a completely missed season due to a dislocated peroneal tendon. With Justin Simmons having just received Denver's franchise tag, it looks like Miller's negotiations will have to revolve around a revised multi-year deal that would reduce his cap hit.

Broncos' Von Miller: Gets contract guarantee
by RotoWire

The Broncos are exercising a $7 million guarantee on Miller's (ankle) $18 million salary for 2021, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

There was talk of negotiating a lower salary for the final year of Miller's contract, but the Broncos apparently are willing to keep his deal in place now that the pass rusher isn't facing legal charges from a recent investigation by the Parker (Col.) Police Department. Miller should be ready for training camp, considering his dislocated peroneal tendon came with a recovery timeline of 5-to-6 months. He had surgery Sept. 11 and began running in early December.
