Maxes out at so I’m guessing that’s with incentives and who knows what they are. Plus while that’s a lot how nice would it have been if we had a return man the last few years.

I'm sure but it says with reachable incentives so who knows. And yeah I would love to have a return man but for half that at least unless they contribute something on offense too. Agnew has had 105 total yards in 4 years. For $7 million a year I expect some kind of role on offense.

I hope not. Snead would prob just trade down anyway. DWill is more important than a crapshoot pick, especially when Troy Hill leaves.
Well, if they draft a good player in round one, it's 5 yrs of cheap labor vs paying big money to Williams. Not only a nice chunk this yr, but huge money next yr. That could cost you a player like Woods or Kupp, or both.

Well sure, that's always the best case scenario if you get lucky. All about what you're willing to gamble. I'm not willing to gamble unless forced to.

Not quite the 3rd round comp I was hoping for....
He’s a safety, I’m pretty sure even the safety franchise tag isn’t a 3rd round comp level deal.

We’ve already had our cheap production for him. He’s one of those mid level players you like to keep I agree we should keep him.

Yeah seeing 14 is about the cutoff. That would've meant he would be the highest paid safety.
Yeah I think Mayes franchise tender was like $14.25 million? It’s a great deal though for the Browns, pretty sure it’s less than Joyner got last year which was a 4th round comp.

What good is mobility and arm strength if you're not as accurate? Have fun with that belief but it has major flaws, as well as hating someone on a belief and not facts. I could see if it was a personality thing, but hating someone who has no control over the situation is crazy. Lol
Oh Stafford is accurate - just not as accurate as Goff

Goff is one of the most accurate QBs if not the most accurate if he has time.

But he has no mobility and cannot avoid bull rushes up the middle and that is a huge weak link in his game.

I have admitted that many times.

Give him time and he will destroy other teams - that was shown in 2018.

Damn how did the Chiefs have money for that? I'm assuming it has to be one of the highest priced OG contracts ever and they just had to cut their LT to get under cap. Not sure this helps their tackle situation though.

That's why I don't pay attention to the cap. Teams figure it out. Always.

True Philly. But this next year matters too. I want a Super Bowl win and having two top corners is a nice part of that equation.

Also if we keep him around this year maybe next year they can tag 'n trade him. That will certainly be the case if he plays as well or better than he did last season. So given that the falloff is potentially quite large in chasing that 5 year rookie deal. They could hit in doing that. But they could miss too.
