It's cool man. I just felt like there was better value out there, than a "pet" project. I wanted us to address the elephant in the room that is Trujo. It didn't happen. But I got no beef w/ you, my Rams Brother.

yeah man, I'm cautiously optimistic about the pick. He measures similarly to Reed so I hope he becomes a similar player

I said earlier that I could see snead trading down a handful of spots for a 3rd or 4th, and that I figured the pick would be a tight end, but I thought Everett could be taken in the 3rd. I don't remember who picked after the rams but they did take a TE so maybe he wouldn't have been there in the 3rd, and in that case, from what I've read and seen about and from Everett, he was probably one of the top 2 TE s on the rams board so I like the pick, especially since there's another 3rd round selection as part of the deal.

Well, you're wrong. He's a big guy with a lot of athleticism and range. He's a reliable and technically sound tackler. But he's not a big hitter. He's not a headhunter. He doesn't play with the strength and nastiness that Chancellor does.

It's pure a size for size comparison. They have completely different play styles and will likely play different positions.
