With Mariota developing quickly and the offense showing some signs of life last year, the Titans have a chance to add a high caliber playmaker to the defense, trusting the other side of the ball to continue progressing.. Thanks, Rams. :sick:

Nice pick. I was wondering IF he would drop in the Draft do to Injury questions! But he looks like he will be ready for Training Camp, if not OTA's!

Damn! So much for going 'Safety!'

Take a break everyone. I'm at work and my four favs are gone. The most talented 5-11 team in the NFL seems to have an average player at every position....

Gonna talk draft needs with the locals at Mission Bay over fish tacos at Dona Maria's. The Sherman Oaks Chargers will pick today at Beer:30. (About 1830 pst)

Nice pick although I figured him for more of a mid-late 1st rounder!
* Top 40 at his position at 4.46
* xlnt vert at 35.5
* and had a 128.0 broad jump
Most places have him at either a SS or ILB, I personally have never thought of him at CB. But he's a great pick! He was in my sights too!!(y):snicker::shades::cheers:

Yeah, was looking at him at 19 with my Bucs. A good friend of mine son went to high school with him and they still keep in touch. My friends a Dolphins fan and is hoping he drops to them at 22.
Good pick never the less, he's a great athlete.

There are a couple of QB's I thought the Jets might go for before Peppers. And a few other players, But I'm not going to start Name-Dropping at this point in the Draft! At least not before I pick at #11!!!:mrburnsevil:

Our Rams went 'best player available' in the first round a couple of years ago, and that turned out rather well! Like the Chargers this year, DL was an area of strength, yet we took an undersized DT out of Pittsburgh who turned out to be our best draft pick in recent memory. The Chargers have needs, but the draft is deep where their needs are the greatest...

With the seventh pick in the 2017 draft, the Chargers pick:

Jonathan Allen DL Alabama

"Allen is one of the most talented prospects in the 2017 draft class and deserving of top-three overall" CBS Sports

# 2 prospect overall - .."Allen dominated the SEC the past two seasons and at 6-3, 286 pounds he possesses the bulk, strength and quickness to line up virtually anywhere along the defensive line." USA Today

My take - Allen will solidify an already strong unit, allowing them to dominate for years
