I know it's just one game but I'm just happy for this kid- its nice to see all the hard work he put into the off season start paying some dividends!

So much for the preseason opinions of some pundits, huh?

To think that some declared at one point in the preseason that the Rams would not be favored in a single game this year.

Other "experts" put the over/under on wins at 5 1/2 games. The public forced Vegas to establish that line, in fact.

What can I say?

I feel so VINDICATED! Lol.

Yeah, it was the Colts without Luck, but still...

A few things to clean up, but this team looks dangerous, don't it?

Do you want another happy thought? You know, like for dessert?

I suspect that McVay "held back" on much of his O playbook today. Simply because he knew that he wouldn't need all of it.

When we see the better teams, I predict more exotic usage of Gurley, Watkins, Kupp, Woods, Everett, Higbee, Reynolds, and maybe Tavon.

McVay surely has more weapons up his sleeve for when he needs them. We did NOT see the whole playbook, fellas.

Maaaaaybe the Redskins will see it. For sure the Cowboys. Lol.

If you needed another reason to love McVay - He helped end Donald's holdout

Rams coach Sean McVay helped end Aaron Donald's holdout
ESPN.com news services

One of the men who had a role in ending the stalemate between the Los Angeles Rams and Aaron Donald was rookie head coach Sean McVay, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Rather than traveling with the team to Green Bay for the Rams' final preseason game, McVay went to Atlanta with Rams executives to meet with Donald's representatives to see if they could find a compromise, sources tell Schefter.

McVay later flew from Atlanta to Green Bay to rejoin his team in time for that night's preseason game, but he missed the team activities earlier that day.

McVay's presence in Atlanta rather than being in Green Bay with his team was a sign of how important it was to him to have Donald back on the roster.

The Atlanta meeting helped increase dialogue between the two sides, and it helped result in Donald reporting to work Saturday, though he will not play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
