Although no one wants to hear it now, on the bright side...

Fortunately, most of our roster comes back next year with the chance to replace a couple players who didn’t live up to expectations (Fowler, Joyner, Barron, etc).

I have a hard time believing the rams won’t get super aggressive and make some trades again, the fact that they were willing to trade for Mack after paying Donald’s tells you all you need to know, the rams are all in.

Our young team got the necessary expirance today, unfortunately we were on the wrong end of the game, but they will learn and come back, McVay is going to come back from this and learn, these guys are hungry. It’s going to be a long offseason but boy and I already looking forward to see what we do

Pump Up Play List

Ok Ramily, I like to get jacked the eff up before playoff games. I'm talking rip the heads off of people and run onto the field with no pads to lay out the opposing team jacked up. NFL films music has always been my go to, but I need more today. Give me your SB pump up music!

I suspect that Suh’s gonna gave a monster impact on today’s game...

Yeah, he’s been in my doghouse because of his half-hearted efforts in 15 of the regular season games.

However...

That was then and this is now. Lol.

There’s no denying that he’s playing at an elite level in these playoffs. This has transformed our DL into what was anticipated after the signing last summer.

The ripple effects of Suh’s “playoff version” are dramatic. I don’t think it’s a big stretch to say they might be game changing.

Lots of players need to bring their A game, of course, but a big game by Suh will really put the Patriots in a bind. One that they can’t overcome. Two “unblockable” DL players would be a Patriot nightmare.

I’m gonna try to keep a close eye on Suh’s play today.

Rams “absolutely” want C.J. Anderson back in 2019
Posted by Josh Alper on February 3, 2019

The Rams have a pretty big game to play on Sunday before their attention will turn toward 2019, but one of their hopes once they get to that point reportedly concerns running back C.J. Anderson.

Anderson joined the team for the final two games of the regular season and ran well while Todd Gurleywas out with a knee injury. Anderson has remained a part of the offense in the playoffs as Gurley has played less than he did before the knee injury and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports the team “absolutely” wants the veteran back in 2019.

Given how well Anderson has done in the offense and Gurley’s history of knee issues that predates his December injury, it’s easy to understand why the Rams would feel that way.

It would also be easy to see a team offering Anderson a bigger role and/or salary than the Rams would be willing to offer a complementary player. Malcolm Brown, who was the No. 2 behind Gurley before breaking his collarbone in December, is set to be a restricted free agent so the Rams will have the ability to hold onto his rights regardless of how things play out with Anderson.

Stop run, Make Brady throw = Rams win!

Brady was hardly disastrous in New England's bad games -- he completed fewer than 60 percent of his passes and averaged less than 7 yards per toss, but threw eight touchdowns with only one interception. On the ground, however, the Patriots were neutralized. They averaged only 72.0 yards per game and 3.1 yards per carry. Their average rush offense DVOA was -26.9%, which would have been the worst in the league over a full season; their average pass offense DVOA was 7.2%, which would have been in the middle of the pack. Shutting down the ground game and forcing Tom Brady to throw isn't the first tactic that springs to mind when facing New England, but it has been most effective against the Patriots this year.

Full circle

The pats beat the Rams all those years ago by beating up the receivers and tackling Faulk whenever he left the backfield and now apparently that’s how they shut down the Chiefs. Kelce is saying they took it to a whole new level daring the refs to throw a bunch of flags(sound familiar?) the Chiefs timing was totally thrown off by the mugging and it took Mahomes magic to get back in the game. What does this mean for the rams? The Chiefs receiving corps is basically Hill and Kelce where as the rams go a legit 4 deep. I also hope TG is ready for them to try to keep him on the los by any means necessary but I also hope they learn from the gsot and don’t fall into the trap and run the damn ball.

Pats D

Experts are impressed at what the Pats d did to the Chiefs offense. Hill didn’t have a big impact and Kelce was quiet too. But I wonder how much was self inflicted, I thought the Chiefs had a little Martz syndrome in the first half they kept throwing at Hill even though he was doubled.
I’ve heard it predicted that NE will shut down the run the way they did the Chiefs but I would say the Rams run game is superior, the fact that TG and CJ have totally different styles is a big asset, but let’s say you shut down the run and double Cooks. Is daring Woods, Reynolds and Everett to win a good strategy?
Belichick is famous for eliminating what you like to do best but what exactly is that for the rams? Woods could’ve ended the game in regulation in NO if he hadn’t stumbled, the Saints weren’t about to let Cooks get free in a tight game and they got away with it barely.
My guess is that McVay does everything he can to get the run game going to keep Goff comfortable and if that happens it doesn’t matter how prepared you are for play action it’s going to work.

Got my Rams room back.

Moved a few times in the past few years. Had to take my Rams stuff and pack it away. All the pictures, helmets and others signed gear gather over the years, had been in boxes for 4 years now. Now I have most, not all, but most of my Rams gear hanging back on the walls. Super Bowl XXXIV pictures, and some of my Rams favorites, KW, MF, IB, D’Marco Farr, Jackie Slater, Fearsome Foursome, Jack Youngblood, just to name a few. Oh it is good to be to look up and see Rams greatness.

Now I can start my collection again. E-bay here I come...

ESPN 710

This so-called "Rams" station is a joke.

Joe Curley tweeted out about them something I have been thinking since listening to them off and on this season: the Rams should find another station.

The hosts or program managers care little about them. They are clearly the 24 hour Lakers station.

Even during the Super bowl run they only seem to give the Rams a few moments here and there because they feel they sort of have to, but usually it's five or ten minutes before they get back to the Lakers and it's about things like McVay's hair gel(I'm not kidding--that was a topic).

They should be helping to promote this team and MY GOD what does the team have to do? They are IN the Superbowl. But it's more important to give three hours to Anthony Davis trade speculation or a Jennie Buss clip or LEBRON, LEBRON, LEBRON!

It's clear they don't particularly care one way or the other about the Rams. And frankly, they'd rather talk about other things.

Rams need a station that will support and promote them.

This ain't it.
