Holy Crap Josh Allen is a turnover machine

I know someone here has probably already brought this up but, this stat blew me away.
In 30 NFL games Josh Allen has fumbled the ball 26 times and thrown 21 int's
That includes 2 fumbles last week

The Bills have a very average oline and maybe even the weakest oline we have faced,

Two things I have noticed while watching pieces of his games is that opposing
dlinemen will get pressure on him , but are just a bit too slow to catch him once
he starts moving. I'm watching and thinking AD would have caught him on most if not
all of Allen's escapes.

The second is several of his big pass plays should have been picked or at least
tipped. Miami's secondary looked horrendous. Don't see our secondary playing
that poorly.

I have a feeling we are gonna be the team that puts a damper on this media love
fest

Game Day Menu Thread (GDMT). What's cooking for the Bills?

And please don't tell me Bison.. lolol That sounds good tho. I won't be watching the game live, even though shown here.. I've got to much stuff to do to house and yard with work and OT. I'll watch it on GamePass Sunday evening. That said....

I'll have chili to snack on, as I'm making it for work week lunch. Going to do on the Weber seasoned burgers, and thick cut pork chops. I've been going to a local Mom and Pop meat and produce place, and these chops are the bomb. I don't need to do anything to them. They about an inch and 1/2 thick, if not 2 inches. Locally raised too. Makes me feel good supporting local farmers. :) That said, @BonifayRam would be proud of me. I'm using apple chunks of wood in Weber. :cheers2:

Side dishes may vary as I'm undecided on what to do. Frozen veggies in a white or cheese sauce. Probably open up a jar of cukes with Hungarians in them. Many beers Sunday evening tho. I work 2nd shift so all good.

Oh yeah, my bobcats will be getting Tuna too. lolol

Let's hear what ya all are doing.. Always good to get ideas.. Peace and :cheers2:

WHO ARE WE? lol RAAAAAAAMMSS..

PS If you all haven't checked out the chat room for Game Day, please do so. Good people in there. Miss it.

Andrew Whitworth: "You've seen what we talked about last year has come to fruition

Andrew Whitworth: "You've seen what we talked about last year has come to fruition

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Rams' run game is back, which in turn is helping the passing attack and opening up the entire offense as a whole.

For any of that to happen, though, it requires a strong effort up front. Coincidentally, early returns on the 2020 version of Los Angeles' offensive line are promising.

"You've seen what we talked about last year has come to fruition," Andrew Whitworth, the most experienced member of the group, told reporters during a video conference Friday afternoon.

There's proof in both traditional statistics and advanced analytics.

Statistically, the Rams are fifth in the NFL in total offense – ninth in passing and third in rushing.

From an analytics standpoint, the 38-year-old Whitworth's 97 percent pass block win rate is good for sixth among all offensive tackles in the league, according to ESPN. As a team, the Rams have the seventh-best run block win rate, helped by two of those young players who gained experience last year: Austin Corbett, whose 77 percent run block win rate is fourth-highest among all NFL offensive guards, and Austin Blythe, whose 73 percent run block win rate is sixth among centers.

Amid all the injuries the Rams' offensive line endured last year, Corbett and Blythe were bright spots. Blythe started at right guard, moved to left, then took over for Brian Allen at center after Allen's season-ending knee injury in Week 10. That shuffling led to Corbett plugging the hole at left guard, and he showed enough there to retain a starting role, though at right guard instead. Blythe also retained his starting job at center.

"I mean, a lot of these guys that we believed in that were young, just had no experience, and you get out there and play in real games and get a little bit of trial by fire, and get out there and experience things, it started to come together the last part of the season last year," Whitworth said. "The play got better and better."

Whitworth sees that same toughness and physicality in second-year pro Edwards, who is now stepping in for Joe Noteboom (calf) following Noteboom's placement on injured reserve. Like Corbett and Blythe, Edwards gained valuable experience as a rookie last year (six starts in 10 games) and is well-positioned to step into a starting role.

"Dave, that's how he's wired," Whitworth said. "He'll fit right in because that's the style of football he's used to playing at Wisconsin, that's kind of the player he's been when he's stepped in for us, because that's really the style he plays and what he's best at. I expect him to step in and do well."

Sunday presents perhaps the biggest challenge to date for Los Angeles' offensive line, going up against a Buffalo defensive line that has contributed to the NFL's No. 3 run defense and No. 5 total defense.

Pass this test, and it only further solidifies the progress that has been made.

"They really have," McVay said, when asked how well the offensive line has been doing in the run game and limiting sacks through the first two weeks. "They've done an excellent job."

Buffalo Bills linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano will both join the team for practice Wednesday, head coach Sean McDermott announced.
Edmunds (shoulder) and Milano (hamstring) sustained injuries during the Bills' Week 1 victory over the New York Jets and missed last Sunday's game in Miami. Tyrel Dodson (74 snaps) and A.J. Klein (72) started in their absence.
"They'll both be out there today," McDermott said. "Some in limited fashion and some in normal fashion, so we're going to take it one play at a time once they get out there."
McDermott said no determination has been made regarding either player's status for this Sunday's home game against the Los Angeles Rams.
"Too early [to tell]," he said. "And that's not a strategy thing. It's more we got to see. I need to see, I haven't seen them since we left over the weekend here, what they've been able to do. So, I've gotten reports from our trainer but I want my eyes on it today."
Here are more takeaways from McDermott's mid-week session with the media.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Rams rookie running back Cam Akers (ribs) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at the Buffalo Bills.

"We'll just continue to try to get him as healthy as possible for next week," Rams head coach Sean McVay said after practice Friday.

Additionally, while defensive back Darious Williams (ankle) is questionable, McVay expects him to play on Sunday. Running back Malcolm Brown is good to go after practicing in full on Thursday and Friday.

For the Bills, tight end Dawson Knox (concussion), running back Zack Moss (toe) and linebacker Del'Shawn Phillips (quad) have been ruled out. Linebackers Tremaine Edmunds (shoulder) and Matt Milano (hamstring), listed on the team's depth chart as starters, are questionable, as well as reserve cornerback Taron Johnson (groin).

Recycling to a whole new level

Vietnam Confiscates Over 300,000 Recycled Condoms for Sale
A raid at a warehouse led to the arrest of a woman who said she had been paid by the pound to recycle the prophylactics.

HANOI, Vietnam — The police in Vietnam have seized more than 300,000 used condoms that had been boiled, dried and put up for sale in a southern province.
Officers who raided a warehouse in the province of Binh Duong on Saturday found the recycled condoms in bags weighing almost 800 pounds, the state-controlled Tuoi Tre newspaper reported.
Footage broadcast by the state-owned Vietnam Television showed thousands of prophylactics spilling out of bags on the floor. It was unclear what led to the police raid, but news reports said officers had received a tip from a local resident.
The police arrested a woman in connection with the operation, Pham Thi Thanh Ngoc, who told the authorities that she had received a monthly delivery from an unknown person and had been paid the equivalent of 17 cents for about every two pounds she recycled, local news outlets reported.

She told the police that the condoms had been recycled through a process of boiling, drying and reshaping them using a wooden prosthesis.
It was not known how long the business had been in operation or how many condoms had been sold.
Condoms are designed to be disposed of after use, and reusing them can lead to breakage, slipping or leakage.

Anh Nguyen, an obstetrician from Dak Lak, said that recycling used condoms was “very dangerous to society.”
“For profit they can spread sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis, gonorrhea and possibly H.I.V.,” she said of the warehouse business. “This must be prevented.”
But recycling condoms is not unheard-of among sex workers, especially in developing countries, experts say.

“It’s not impossible to wash a condom,” said Juliet Richters, a sexual health expert and honorary professor at the University of New South Wales. But “it’s never happened, to my knowledge, on an industrial scale.” .
Professor Richters said that they would be difficult to recycle without equipment to roll up and repackage the condoms to pass them off as new. She said it was unclear what impact boiling the condoms would have on their integrity.
A representative of the Binh Duong Department of Health said health officials had not received any information from provincial officials or requests for assistance in the investigation.
Binh Duong Province, outside the southern commercial hub of Ho Chi Minh City, is filled with industrial zones where factories manufacture consumer goods for export and domestic consumption.

Had umbilical hernia repair yesterday

I have been doing crossfit workouts, off and on due to covid, since Feb. In March my wife noticed my belly button was changing and my Dr diagnosed it as umbilical hernia. A few weeks later it grew a little so I contacted a surgeon and she recommended getting it repaired before it grew any more. Due to covid it took till yesterday to get an appointment. I never knew how much you use your core muscles before last night. They pumped my full of dilaudid and sent me home, I am glad this stuff wasnt available on the street back when I was drinking and using. I would have overdosed on that shit for sure. Even the ride home was way more fun loaded, something about being oblivious to everything but my heart beat and breathing was very relaxing.

I was surprised to learn that every single exercise I have been doing in the gym should be avoided with any hernia. So now the only exercise I can do for the next 2 weeks is walking, then jogging for the next 2-4 weeks. Hopefully I can keep off the weight I have lost so I'm not starting all over when I return to the gym. Now I have 7 weeks to spend time with my 4yr old Grandson and my Granddaughter that will be born on my birthday this coming Monday.

Predict the Score Week 3 Rams @ Bills

First off, congrats to recent winners @dang (week 1) and @CGI_Ram ( week 2)

Now on to Week 3 . The rams are shuffling off to Buffalo with a 2-0 record after dismantling Carson Wince and the Iggles in Philly. can the Rams, who are 5-0 in East coast games under McVay, make the cross country trip and come out on top of the 2-0 Bills? Or will Buffalo continue their push for the AFC East title with a W?

Good Luck

Actors that you miss

I am currently in the middle of "Red Dragon" and Phillip Seymore Hoffman plays a scummy reporter. But damn...he was such a good actor. It has me thinking about different roles that he could have been in. Then I started thinking of other actors that have passed.

Chris Farley....man, the amount of comedy we've missed out on due to his death.

What Bills fans are saying

Hope the LB unit is back up to full speed because the Rams abused Philadelphia's slow linebackers today.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This will be a very tough game for the Bills.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stunned at the opening line.

We need our LB to be healthy. Higbee and Everett are solid
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Rams would have lost to the Cowboys last week if not for a gift offensive pass interference call so they aren’t this juggernaut and while it is a step up in competition...I think it’s safe to say the Bills are the best team the Rams have seen as well
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rams are no slouches.....we are gonna have to be solid on both sides of the ball.....cant have our D play like they did today
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This will be a high scoring game - especially if Milano/Edmunds are out.

Rams run their offense much like the Bills did yesterday. Lots of play action where they move the pocket and hit the crossng receiver down the field.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The key to this game will be pressure on Goff. He's a different QB when pressured, and he does not have the escape hatches he used to. I agree much of this is tied to Milano and Edmunds, but I feel the crew from Sunday can get the job done.

I hope we can get at least one of those guys back to tighten up coverage on the TE. Higbee scares me, but Ginseke had an "amazing" game with some shoestring brilliant catches.

I dont feel the Rams D is capable of shutting us down.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We don’t need them healthy “to stand a chance”. At least, I hope not...

The Rams D has a couple studs and a bunch of fluff. We should be able to score on them. ....and if our offense is truly legit, we should be able to score on anyone.

On defense, even without Edmunds/Milano, I trust McDermott, Frazier and the Defense to redeem themselves. I’m sure they are not happy, at all, about how that side of the ball played yesterday.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Discipline, discipline, discipline on defense against the Rams.

Don't take the eye candy, don’t fall for the motions and backfield actions. Be disciplined.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think the Rams are over rated. They are good, but they aren't a buzz saw. Winnable but more difficult than what we have played. Defense needs to be better than they were yesterday. Hoping that was an anomaly.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I’m interested to see how the whole Jalen Ramsey vs Josh Allen thing plays out.. Ramsey talked a lot of crap about Allen over the years so this one is personal.. Instead of running away from Ramsey, I’d love to see a whole litany of gimmicky plays to get Stefon Diggs the ball on Sunday.. Ramsey may be the best CB in football but Stefon Diggs is having an All-Pro year...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weak sauce it is. I'm picking the Bills to win by 10 this week. Outside of Ramsey and Donald, who's going to step up on the Rams' defense?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My biggest fear this week isnt Aaron Donald.

It's Bob Woods.

Dude is a killer and I know he'll be a little extra motivated coming back to Buffalo.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The rams defense is very suspect outside Ramsey and Donald. Now one of their corners are hurt...

I'm predicting another 400 yards for Josh
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(in reference to Kiser winning DPOW)

Don't be fooled, apparently he gave up 11 completions in coverage last week and that's why he had so many tackles. You could make a legit case that the Rams starting LBs are worse than our backups.

For all my fellow longhairs out there

Okay... so here's the deal.

For my first 50 years, I always kept my hair cut short and for the last decade, I've kept my head shaved for the most part.

Well, as a gift to the wife, I've let my hair grow out and it's basically down to my shoulders now.

How do you guys manage it? I mean for real? I look Samoan (being mixed will do that with hair) and I obviously need to add a conditioner, but dang.

I'm about ready to break out in a Haka and scare my family.

Oh, I use Head and Shoulder 2 in 1 (I know... got a vat of it at Sam's Club)

Rams' Robert Woods looking forward to return to Buffalo to face 2-0 Bills

Robert Woods spent his first four seasons in Buffalo as an underrated receiver while playing for a struggling franchise.
In 2017, he moved to L.A. where he's still underestimated but is getting more star-acclaim on the West Coast as a key part of Sean McVay's offense. Woods has generated back-to-back 1,000-plus yards seasons, the first of his career.
