GPS app

There is an app that you can get on your computer called

iMyphoneanyto

You download the app, hook up your iPhone to the computer then open the app. It lets you set your GPS location anywhere in the world.

I have the Yahoo Sports app n my phone. It plays I’ve games if your location shows the correct GPS coordinates. So I’m going to try it and see if I can watch the Rams lions game for free on my phone live.

It works with iPads too. So if t works I may get an iPad with nothing else on it and then use it just for this purpose.

Does anyone else have experience with this app?

Is Sony Michel in danger of missing the Lions game?

Sean McVay gave an update on Michel’s shoulder on Wednesday

By Kenneth Arthur@KennethArthuRS Oct 20, 2021,
usa_today_16885724.0.jpg

The LA Rams have been grateful for running back Sony Michel’s presence this season, especially now knowing that Jake Funk will miss the remainder of the year with a torn hamstring. Michel has 54 carries for 205 yards and a touchdown over six games but recently suffered a shoulder injury that could have put him in danger of missing Week 7’s contest against the Detroit Lions. Head coach Sean McVay addressed Michel’s injury concern to reporters on Wednesday, expressing a belief that Michel will be ready to go on Sunday.

Darrell Henderson received 90 percent of the snaps three games ago, then 66 percent, then played in 82 percent most recently against the New York Giants.

Michel has played 10 percent, 34 percent, and 18 percent of the snaps in those same contests, respectively. Over the last two games, Michel has 20 carries for 79 yards, an average just shy of four yards per carry. He has also scored one touchdown, but had a costly fumble against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fans should expect Henderson to get the bulk of the workload against Detroit, but if the Rams manage to pull away against an 0-6 team, Michel could become the main back in the second half.

Any changes to make?

Lots of talk around here early season about swapping Long out and Rochelle in. Same with Ramsey playing more outside.

What else you guys want to see?

Me; maybe a little more balance of carries between Henderson and Michel. What we are doing is working fine… I am suggesting a little more tire rotation. It’s a long 17 games.

How about you?

Changes? Sit back and enjoy the ride?

Rams record that few know or care about may fall on Sunday.

The Rams have had a storied history at RB, with such greats as Eric Dickerson, Jerome Bettis, Marshall Faulk, Steven Jackson and Todd Gurley.

They have been even more impressive at the WR position, with players like Elroy Hirsch, Henry Ellard, Isaac Bruce, Flipper Anderson, Torry Holt and current players like Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp.

At TE, on the other hand, the Rams have never had a perennial All-Pro or Hall of Fame player.

In fact, this Sunday, Tyler Higbee, who is a good, but hardly historic player, may become the Rams all time leader in receiving yards by a TE.

With four more yards, he'll pass the Number 2 guy on the list... Lance Kendricks.

Then, with 49 yards, he'll hit that magic number of 2,178 yards and supplant Billy Truax as the Rams' most prolific receiving TE!

While they probably won't stop the game and have a 15 minute ceremony, I suppose that's worth noting.

Seriously... Higs is a good TE and I'm glad to have him on the team. And, by the time he's done, he may set the bar high enough that it could take a while for someone to knock him off his perch. Probably not 51 years (Truax set his mark in 1970), but... a while.

Snead & co are crushing it

I had posted about the Rams being in great salary cap position moving forward, and killer drafting is why.
The Rams are carrying more than 40 MILLION DOLLARS in dead money.. and still have an ass-kicking roster. Very impressive stuff.
It looks like they make solid choices on who to let walk and who to keep.. many were upset at the price they paid to keep Floyd while losing other players, but I don't think anyone is questioning that decision now. Yes, you can fairly criticize them for getting into the situation, but look around the league and see how few teams show the dexterity to deal with that kind of situation and still field a team that's this damn good.
The drafts are pretty remarkable, imo. At least 2 quality starters every year since 2017 without a first rounder in there, though they traded back one year. And an incredible number of players drafted still on NFL rosters. Guys like Clay Johnston and Dakota Allen are still contributing as backups and special team players.

2017- Gerald Everett, Cooper Kupp, John Johnson, Josh Reynolds, Samson Ebukam, Tanzel Smart, Sam Rogers, Ejuan Price
2018-
Joe Noteboom, Brian Allen, Johnathan Franklin Myers, Micah Kiser, Obo Okoronkwo, John Kelly, Jamil Demby, Sebastian Joseph, Trevon Young, Travin Howard, Justin Lawler
2019- Taylor Rapp, Darrell Henderson, David Long, Bobby Evans, Greg Gaines, David Edwards, Nick Scott, Dakota Allen
2020-Cam Akers, Van Jefferson, Terrell Lewis, Terrell Burgess, Brycen Hopkins, Jordan Fuller, Clay Johnston, Sam Sloman, Tremayne Anchrum
2021- Tutu Atwell, Ernest Jones, Bobby Brown, Robert Rochell, Jacob Harris, Earnest Brown, Jake Funk, Ben Skowronek, Chris Garrett

If the 2021 class develops as previous years.. the Rams should be able to replace Darious Williams, SJD, Austin Corbett and Kenny Young from within. Not easy, but it's the kind of thing they do. Rochell, Brown, Jones and Evans/Anchrum/Brewer/ or perhaps a draft pick will have to step up at guard. I see them keeping Allen.
On top of that, with 10 picks in the 2022 draft, we can reasonably hope for the possibility of one first-year starter from the group.

The good news? They don't have to lose all of those guys, because they're in a very flexible cap situation next year and have no dead money.

The biggest offseason question/problem will be what happens if, as expected, Whitworth retires. Do they go all in on someone like Terron Armstead? Or do they think they've developed a reasonable replacement? Or do they do they draft another tackle in the 2nd round and try to figure out a bridge until that guy is ready?

At different points.. some of these picks looked like misses.. and then turned it around. That speaks to good development and a long-term vision. It's been fun to watch and makes it easy to be excited and optimistic about the next few seasons despite the Rams "mortgaging their future" for Matt Stafford.

Early look at wild NFL QB carousel in 2022: Seahawks, Eagles, Steelers among 12 teams most likely to seek move

Early look at wild NFL QB carousel in 2022: Seahawks, Eagles, Steelers among 12 teams most likely to seek move

This is going to be another wacky offseason of quarterback movement. You can already see it. Change is already in the air. It's looking increasingly inevitable in more organizations than one would expect, given all the upheaval of the last few years.

Upwards of half of the league could be in line for a QB switch by 2022. Yeah, crazy but true.

There are already a slew of Band-Aid QB moves for 2021 that are proving to be a poor fit. There are a bunch of clubs where the coach and GM are already on the hot seat, which could very well spell change at the quarterback position as well in just a few short months. It isn't very pretty under center in far too many places, and when you factor in the recent unrest regarding future Hall of Famers like Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, too, it's not difficult at all to imagine a 2022 scenario in which there are teams clamoring for a new signal caller, in a draft year unlikely to be as robust at that position as most recent years.

Buckle up. It's going to be wild. Again.

Sure, we are just about a third of the way through the regular season, but follow me here. It's becoming obvious that a wide swath of teams do not have their QB of 2022 on the roster, let alone a QB of the future. And the competition to get to the top of the draft, or to land someone like Wilson or Rodgers or Deshaun Watson, figures to be quite intense. Here are the teams most likely to be looking to upgrade at the QB spot come 2022:

Carolina Panthers

Sam Darnold ain't the answer. The last three games have been brutal and this was never the QB solution owner David Tepper was sold on in the first place. Too many turnovers. Too few big plays. Not enough completions. Without RUN CMC, it is particularly ugly. Tepper has long wanted Watson. At some point he may get him. But after going through Teddy Bridgewater and now Darnold, the Panthers are making one splash or another at QB next year.

Detroit Lions

Jared Goff was a high-priced salary dump. He is functional at best, and with this coaching staff on offense (less than innovative) and with this cast around him, you have no shot to win. He was never gonna be more than a look-see, and he could end up benched sooner rather than later. No one will be hotter to draft a QB than the Lions.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Big Ben is done. This year looks just like last year in the passing game, he took the pay cut to come back for one more shot … But this is it. The next guy isn't likely on the roster. Rodgers has been making googly eyes at them. Maybe it makes sense. I would say a reboot with a spry young QB makes more sense. But Mason Rudolph ain't it.

Washington Football Team

Ryan Fitzpatrick is at the end and injuries are a reality for him. Just a matter of how long it takes for them to set in. Couldn't make it through Week 1 this year. Taylor Heinicke is a run around guy but not a true starter. He is Gardner Minshew Lite. They have never had a long-term QB in place since Dan Snyder bought the team. Maybe they never will. But something has to give in 2022.

Atlanta Falcons

It was always silly to roll more money forward with Matt Ryan. They should have drafted his replacement with the fourth pick last year. But Arthur Smith is limited by the immobile QB, who has been on steady decline, and they'd better find the next guy next year, even if he sits for a little bit. Time to turn the page.

Houston Texans

Davis Mills is gonna get every chance to play a bunch. And he may have a future in the league. But him earning the spot to be the starter in 2022 seems like a stretch. Maybe they get someone like Tua in a trade (more on that in a minute), but Watson won't be in Houston by Week 1 next year, and someone else will be at the helm.

Miami Dolphins

Coach Brian Flores and GM Chris Grier might be on borrowed time. It's pretty ugly in Miami and turmoil is amuck. Passing on Justin Herbert to take Tua might be a problem, Flores has never embraced Tua outwardly like he should have, and whether he stays or goes, I have a hard time seeing Miami staying status quo in 2022.

New York Giants

Ditto for New York. Coach and GM have one foot out the door. Maybe one foot and three toes. Will the next guys think Daniel Jones is the answer? He has been better this year despite a weak staff, but there are reasons to believe he was heavily over-drafted. This franchise needs another total restart, and if nothing else there will be some QB competition in town next year.

Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts has been dealt a raw hand. Rookie head coach. Total disregard for the run game. But he misses a lot of easy passes and Philly ain't the most patient place and who knows how long Nick Sirianni's run is there. They could end up with three first-round picks in the top half of the first round, and as much as management would love to see Hurts grab the reigns and cement his status, that is far from a sure thing. Seems a little unlikely right now, frankly.

New Orleans Saints

Jameis Winston does some nice things and New Orleans can finally push the ball downfield again. But is that enough to satisfy Asshole Face? There were some rumblings among NFL GMs that the Saints might be sniffing around on Watson, and given the overall roster strength, adding an elite veteran QB might be the way they go. They won't sweat parting with a bunch of future picks, and Rodgers, Wilson and Watson all make a lot of sense.

Seattle Seahawks

If they do bite the bullet and assess the myriad roster holes and embrace a rebuild of sorts, trading Wilson is the only way to go. He isn't going to be doing an extension with two years on his deal, and 2022 would be the time to deal him. They might end up getting the next guy in that trade, and GM John Schneider has deep ties to the Packers and Rodgers, FWIW. My gut says Wilson is elsewhere in 2022.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I think it's more likely Tom Brady plays til he is 50 than he retires at 44, but should they win back-to-back Super Bowls you have to at least entertain the question that perhaps he leaves the game. Doubtful, under any circumstances at this point, but, again, the dude is 44.

TNF - Broncos at Browns

Thursday Night Football: Denver Broncos vs. Cleveland Browns

Both the Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns have crashed down to earth this season after hot starts. The Broncos come into FirstEnergy Stadium losers of three straight after beginning the year 3-0; they haven't even held the lead during a game in over 10 quarters.

The Browns are spiraling downward themselves, losers of two in a row and snake-bit by injuries, especially on offense. Running back Kareem Hunt will be the latest to miss an extended period of time, a calf injury Sunday taking him out of commission for the next 4-6 weeks. Quarterback Baker Mayfield also will miss at least one game, as the team announced on Wednesday morning that backup Case Keenum would get the start against Denver.

Does that give an opening to the Broncos to right the ship? Their once-feared defense has been decidedly average the past three weeks, ballooning from 26 total points allowed in three wins to 28.0 points per game given up in three losses. Perhaps the teams they beat had a little to do with skewing the numbers: The Giants, Jaguars, and Jets are a combined 3-14 this year.

The Browns, meanwhile, can at least point to the quality of their opponents as of late, suffering through a heartbreaking loss to the 4-2 Los Angeles Chargers in the final minute before the undefeated Cardinals stomped them last week. Now 3-3 overall, they're tied for last in the AFC North, a division where every team is .500 or better — just like the Broncos and the AFC West.

It puts each team at a crossroads one-third of the way through the season. The Broncos have won 12 of the last 13 meetings between these teams, but which one will be able to overcome their adversity Thursday night?

Thursday Night Football: Denver (3-3) at Cleveland (3-3)

Kickoff: Thursday, Oct. 21 at 8:20 p.m. ET
TV: FOX/NFL Network/Amazon Prime Video
Spread: Browns -3.5

Three Things To Watch

1. Which offensive players will suit up for the Browns?

Mayfield was already playing hurt, as his shoulder issues only worsened over the past few weeks. His non-throwing shoulder has had labrum issues since Week 2 and was dislocated again in the third quarter of Sunday's 37-14 loss to Arizona.

Tuesday, the quarterback admitted it was a full tear, not a partial one, as had been initially reported. But despite being held out of practice earlier this week, Mayfield insisted then that he was going to play.

"Only I know how my body feels," Mayfield said. "And if anyone questions whether I'm hindering the team in going out there injured, that's just not right. So, it's my decision. I get to say whether I'm able to play or not, and that's just how it is."

But with Keenum declared the starter on Wednesday morning, it's obvious that it wasn't just Mayfield's decision. Whether it was the medical staff (there have been reports that Mayfield could need surgery sooner rather than later) or head coach Kevin Stefanski putting their foot down, or a combination, it didn't help Mayfield's case that he suffered through five sacks and an interception in the blowout loss to Arizona on Sunday.

Enter Keenum, a journeyman who's just thrown 13 passes with Cleveland the last two seasons and is 1-7 in his last eight games as a starter. Under normal circumstances, it would be obvious to expect the Browns to focus on the ground game to bail them out. But their top-ranked rushing attack (168.5 ypg) is now down its top two backs with both Hunt and Nick Chubb out with calf injuries. That puts the load on D'Ernest Johnson, who's rushed a grand total of three times for Cleveland in six games. Rookie Demetric Felton may also get a few touches, although he's been used mostly as a dink-and-dunk receiver. The Browns' backfield has become a giant question mark Thursday night.

But the list goes on, as wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is likely to be a game-time decision after injuring his shoulder against the Cardinals. Cleveland's injury report is lengthy and quite a few of the names on there won't suit up for Thursday night's game. The only glimmer of hope is receiver Jarvis Landry, cleared to come off injured reserve after his knee injury.

All the adversity has taken a toll on the offense, scoring 14 points or less in two of the last three games. They'll need more than that in order to beat the Broncos.

2. Can Denver's defense take advantage?

On the other side of the ball, Denver's defense has wavered a bit, allowing more than 400 yards in two of the last three games. They've allowed 23, 27, and 34 points, respectively, while allowing teams to march up and down the field at will.

Based on their early-season dominance, the Broncos' defense still ranks fourth in the NFL. But those totals are deceiving for a team that's struggled to create the type of game-changing plays that were once their hallmark. Denver's created only six turnovers in six games and are allowing third-down conversions at a 42.11 percent clip, pedestrian numbers that rank 19th in the NFL, respectively.

Can it be fixed? It all starts with All-Pro Von Miller, the heart and soul of this unit who's cooled off after 4.5 sacks in the first four games. It doesn't help when four of his fellow linebackers didn't even practice Monday, including his tag-team partner Alexander Johnson. The second-leading tackler on the team is lost for the year after suffering a torn pectoral muscle Sunday against the Raiders.

That's motivated Miller to be more vocal in what he knows is a pivotal moment in the Broncos' season.

"I will play well in this game," Miller said Tuesday. "I'm going to go off. … I'll put the pressure on me. … I'm going to play well, get a couple of sacks and if I do that, then we will win."

Can he follow through? It's interesting that this team, built under a defensive-minded coach, hasn't scored a defensive touchdown off a turnover since December 2019 against Houston.

3. Can Teddy Bridgewater stay healthy and take care of the football?

Bridgewater was outstanding for the Broncos the first three weeks before suffering a concussion in Week 4 against the Ravens. Now, he's suffering through a foot injury, causing some uncertainty about his status for Thursday night (in this case, the head coach is insistent his starting quarterback will be on the field).

Injuries aside, the difference in the Broncos' offense has been turnovers. Six of their eight have been in the last three games, including four by Bridgewater Sunday. A third-quarter fumble when the team started driving led to a Raiders touchdown that put the game out of each.

Bridgewater needs to stay in the game and be more careful, not forcing throws to two young players (wide receiver Courtland Sutton, tight end Noah Fant) that keep developing. Sutton in particular looks great after missing almost all of 2020 due to a knee injury; his 471 yards rank sixth in the AFC. Facing a Browns defense that's allowed eight receiving touchdowns the past two weeks, I'd expect Sutton to get open early and often.

Final Analysis

Neither team will have the offensive firepower to put points on the board Thursday night. Expect a sloppy game where special teams and a few key turnovers make all the difference. (Here's a fun one: these teams are a combined 21-for-21 on field goals and 27-for-27 on extra points in a terrible year for kickers around the league.)

With a short week, there's no telling what to expect from Keenum although it's possible the coaching staff had already been preparing for this possibility. Still, it's not like he'll have his best supporting cast to help him succeed. The schedule doesn't get any easier for Cleveland after this one with two games against division rivals on tap (Steelers, Bengals). So a win on Thursday night would go a long way but it won't be easy with all the injuries.

It's been a long road for the Denver offense, too. But there's enough firepower there for Bridgewater to get them over a finish line in a game they need to win to remain above water in the talented AFC West.

Prediction: Broncos 20, Browns 16

Get Off My Lawn!

I know that I sound like a very worldly fellow with few illusions, but I'm getting my Old Man vibe going... You can morph this conversation into any direction that you want, but I have been shocked by products that are getting advertised on TV, Podcasts, YouTube, etc... For instance, I listen to the Downtown Rams podcast, featuring Alexis Kraft and Jake Ellenbogan. I have read where Alexis professes to be a Christian lady, but then she does these ads for ball trimmers and other products that I won't go into. Instead of hearing football discussion, I'm hearing a young woman speak of guy's stinky, unshaven balls.
Another commercial on YouTube talks about dealing with feminine hygiene odor without any subtlety, saying the things. There are also ads for male products/hygiene odors that I am not so fond of either.

When many of us grew up in the 70's and 80's, you might see a very subtle ad about hygiene products which older people understood, but often times flew right over the heads of kids waiting for Night Shadows or Mighty Mouse Cartoons after school. Today, I would be embarrassed watching or hearing these ads with young children or having my parents around. Even if Alexis wasn't a self professing Christian lady, I would be uncomfortable being in the presence of any woman that isn't my wife, telling me about such things, and she isn't the only one. The Manscape commercials are as common as My Pillow ads....

It's not that we were saints back in those days, but the language and topics discussed were much less crude in normal conversation. Yeah, I know. I can hear the "Ok, Boomer" comments coming....

Playoff Scenarios

Is it too early to talk about playoffs? No

Let's call it now - the Cowboys, Packers, and Bucs are going to win their respective divisions. I'm not trying to jinx, but if we end up with the 5th seed, which team would you rather play in the 1st round including the Cardinals?

This is a tough one but I'm leaning towards the Packers for a revenge game. The other teams are at least 2/3 WRs deep so Ramsey can't be isolated on their main threats. I think Ramsey wants revenge against Adams and Stafford would be motivated to finally get past Rodgers. And I think the regular season game gives us a chance to get familiar with them.

What's your weekly Rams/football routine?

Curious if there are any cool sites or videos people keep up with? For me my routine typically is:

If the Rams lose, tune most of it out - I'll watch McVays press conference, read articles on The Athletic.

If the Rams win:

Watch game highlights Sunday night while watching SNF

Monday - watch victory speech, read forums, watch Good Morning Football if time allows before taking the kids to daycare and starting work

Tuesday - 11 Personnel podcast (half) while driving, check power rankings, check forums, YouTube clips of media discussing the Rams and Herd Hierarchy and three word game

Wednesday - 11 Personnel podcast (part two), next week's game predictions on CBS sports (favorite one to read), NFL app for Rams news, rewatch condensed game on gamepass

Thursday - usually just forums, but if it's a big game for the Rams I'll Google around, checking opposing teams forum or look for score predictions on other sites

Friday - read ESPN and Athletics game breakdowns/picks, forums, Cowherd's Blazing 5, YouTube for anyone discussing upcoming Rams games, NFL app for score predictions and Rams news

Squeeze fantasy football in there too as I have time. Reading all this....I work at least 9 hrs per day and have two kids....so I'm starting to see why I have trouble sleeping

Around the league tidbits you may have missed.

(I do not consider myself a Goff Fan any longer, though I would like him have a chance at some point)

But Cheez people thought McVay was tough on Goff.
Goff is playing on a team with absolutely nothing..... has been sacked 15 times already,
And your HC comes out and says you're not stepping up enough.
Quick question what the hell is he supposed to step up to?

CHARGERS
That was a terrible showing at Baltimore. They hardly resembled the team that was being talked about as a Super Bowl contender.

The best DC on the planet is somehow allowing the #21 ranked scoring defense in NFL.
Meanwhile our shabby DC has us at #9 in points allowed.

I’m starting to feel a lot better about this D now…

I feel that I can now exhale when our D is on the field.

Morris has made several key personnel and scheme adjustments in the past 2 weeks. Namely:

Sitting Long and inserting Rochell despite the rookie having to learn on the job. This is a long term shrewd move.

Moving Rapp to his natural position as a hybrid LB and trying a rotation of more instinctive players at deep Safety. This turned a glaring weakness into a strength in 2 areas.

Less ‘star’ assignments for Ramsey and fewer blitz calls for him, too.

The D generally seemed to revert to the formerly successful aggressiveness that it enjoyed last year from the 2nd quarter of the Giants game on. With some impressive results, I might add.

Don’t look now but the Rams seem to have a couple of genuine quality edge players to complement Floyd in Lewis and Obo with maybe Garrett or this Jamir Jones kid waiting in the wings. What a huge pleasant surprise all that is! The options that gives Morris can’t be overstated.

If Morris can sort out his 2 Safety positions through tweaking personnel and schemes I truly believe that this D can once again be elite. Yes, I said elite, as in top 3 or better.

I’ll say it again. I predict that by mid-November this Ram O and Ram D could be fully gelled and each could be a nightmare to face.

The 5-1 Rams won in convincing fashion over the defending Super Bowl champion Buccaneers. They won "ugly," as some players described it, against the Colts and Seahawks. And they flat-out failed to show up in an embarrassing loss to the undefeated Cardinals -- a team the Rams had previously defeated in eight consecutive meetings. So, although the Rams' record is among the best in the NFL, it's far too early to crown them Super Bowl champions, which is reflected in a modest climb from 8 to 8.4 through six games. Fun fact: Sean McVay's Los Angeles Rams have never lost a game when leading at halftime.
That streak wasn't about to end Sunday against a completely overmatched New York Giants team.
This was a game where the Rams did just about anything they wanted offensively. Matthew Stafford had only two more incompletions in Week 6 (six) than touchdown passes (four). Two of those scoring strikes went to wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who piled up 130 receiving yards. Running back Darrell Henderson racked up 107 total yards and two touchdowns of his own.
Defensively, the Rams put the clamps on Daniel Jones and the Giants. Much of New York's 261 yards of offense came with the game completely out of hand. L.A. forced four turnovers and didn't let the Giants into the end zone until garbage time.
It was the first of a trio of eminently winnable games for the Rams, who host Detroit next week before heading to Houston to pound the Texans.
If the Rams aren't 7-1 when the Titans come to town on November 7, it will be a massive upset, and they probably won't be an underdog again until visiting Lambeau Field on November 28.

I'm still in the car market, I have the Blazer RS reserved but the stupid microchip shortage and the manufacturer not releasing it has me waiting. It's been almost 2 months now. Hoping before Thanksgiving b/c the car itself has been built. Having said that, I'm needing a backup plan in case my need becomes an emergency (which is possible) and trucks are the one type that are readily available. Has to be Chevy (we have Chevy discounts).

I'm not a truck guy, and the one thing I'm concerned is the money for basic maintenance on the damn thing. So if someone can answer these questions, might put my mind at ease:

Oil changes: Currently I spend about $50 - $60 on oil changes and tire rotations, depending on coupons. My car takes 6 quarts. Is the Silverado a 8 quart change? How much are average oil changes?

Tires: Recently spent ~$500.00 on new tires @ Sams. Are truck tires more? 18" - 20" wheels.

Gas: how often do you fill up? can I use regular 87 fuel on a 5.3 L V8 (most common on dealership lots). I don't have any towing needs. I use it for my work commutes and basic city/highway driving, with an occasional road trip. I currently fill up once a week, drive ~50 miles M-F.

Dynamic fuel manager: apparently there is a feature where the engine will automatically use 2 - 8 cylinder depending on driving habits. Is there any truth to that? Gimmick?? I'm not doing off roading or anything crazy that involves AWD.

Silverados look cool, super roomy, and comfy. Backup plan that could be real.

My Memory Is Going I Think...

I recently went to an unfamiliar Rams forum and saw that I was a member.

"Hmph" I thought.

Then I examined my posts, and saw that I posted more than 350 comments there in 2015 and 2016. What the hell!? I recently resumed my old avatar of Merlin Olsen at ROD, and my avatar at this site was the same picture of Merlin. I honestly can't remember being an active member there, but it was a time when I had been trying various forums after Bernie M. banned me from RamStalk at the Post Dispatch. Like @-X- , I was addicted to that site even though I knew it was bad for me and so it was good thing to get kicked out during the relocation drama. I found ROD again after joining in 2010, around the same time, and have been here ever since. When I initially saw the number of posts there, I wondered if somehow my LoyalRam persona had been hacked!

Campbell is a douche for calling out Goff

Campbell calls out Goff about playing better well let's see how Stafford would do with Whit and Allen out and Kupp and Woods out. That is what Detroit offense looks like their best 2 OLmen and top 2 wrs are on IR and that is just the Offense. Giants only initially had 2 star offense players until their LT got hurt.

I am not defending Goff but Campbell's shitty defense lost 2 games that should have one. Baltimore had a 4-19 and they got a first down and Minny marched down the field on their defense with like 40 seconds roughly to win. Goff put them in a winning position twice only to have their attrocious defense surrender the game. I have seen 2 of their games and initially it was completely a terrible defense. Now everyone is hurt on Offense so that complicates things more.

Goff is 6 games in he is learning a new system with a team that has no really great wrs weapons for the most part except for a great TE. They have really good backs, but now they don't have a strong line and Goff's best friend a Center is on IR especially being a pocket passer.

If you are trying to build cohesion this is not the way to do it Campbell. How about take a look in the mirror like McVay does each week and focus on making the entire team better instead of dumping on the QB.

While your at it maybe focus on the horrible Defense. They only have 2 starters on IR.
