Ben Maller's Final take on the Los Angeles Rams media Trolls.

Ben Maller was on the Rams train back on Jan 10, 2022 and had some good insights on the NFL media trolls that were pushing their agendas and narratives about the Rams.

Maller had a final take regarding the media Troll attacks after the Rams celebrated their SB LVI parade in Los Angeles.

If you haven't already seen both of Maller's videos regarding Rams Trolls, here they are.

Is Winning Consecutive Super Bowls the hardest of all professional sports?

The current NFL champions of the world (LA Rams) are getting ready to put the puzzle pieces together for their "Title Defense".

Like all of you epic Rams fans, I'm so happy to be a part of this team.

I'm very nervous and excited to see how McVay and his coaching staff combined with Snead, Pastoors, Demoff & Kroenke go about collaborating on the best strategy to capitalize on winning two straight Lombardi trophies.

In the NFL, winning back-to-back Super Bowl Championships is probably the hardest of all the professional sports.

The Seahawks, Patriots and Chiefs are the most recent teams to make to consecutive Super Bowls but none of them were able to win consecutive Lombardi trophies.

The Last team to win back-to-back Super Bowls was in 2004 & 2005.

Super Bowl XXXVIII (Feb. 1, 2004): Patriots 32, Panthers 29 Won
Super Bowl XXXIX (Feb. 6, 2005): Patriots 24, Eagles 21 Won

The last 4 teams with an opportunity to win back-to-back Super Bowls.

Super Bowl XLVIII (Feb. 2, 2014): Seahawks 43, Broncos 8 Won
Super Bowl XLIX (Feb. 1, 2015): Patriots 28, Seahawks 24 Lost

Super Bowl LI (Feb. 5, 2017): Patriots 34, Falcons 28 Won
Super Bowl LII (Feb 4, 2018): Eagles 41, Patriots 33 Lost

Super Bowl LIV (Feb 2, 2020): Chiefs 31, 49ers 20 Won
Super Bowl LV (Feb 7, 2021): Buccaneers 31, Chiefs 9 Lost

Super Bowl LVI (Feb 13, 2022): Rams 23, Bengals 20 Won
Super Bowl LVII (February 12, 2023) ?

Anybody else delighted 99 didn't get MVP?

In about 2 weeks he's going to be really pissed even if he's still delighted for 10.

And it will be, fuck that shit I need to go get that award now too.

Olines everywhere will be cursing them for giving it Cooper.

He wins it next year after getting 3 sacks and rumbling in for the game winning TD from the 1 yard line.

Nothing is impossible, or even far fetched with this guy. So glad I got to see him play in the flesh a couple of times before moving back to the UK.

No more enhancements in my message box

I'm not sure if I’m using the right terminology, but all the features at the top of my message box, such as bold, italics, color choices, links, smilies, etc. are all light gray and inaccessible. The only features that open are the three vertical dots and the brackets on the right.

Have I screwed up my settings? How to fix?

Thx

Edit: I just realized I only have this issue on my iPad. The features work on my phone or laptop, so this has to be something I did on my iPad, no?

Did anyone hear the real story on Ramsey?

I've heard reports that he was at the parade but I never saw any clips of him. As great as he is, he did have a few rough plays in the playoffs but that can be expected when you're covering the other teams #1 receiver for a large part of the game. We all saw what happened on the long TD by the Bengals and you can't fault him for that. Other than that, I think he gave up only three catches. I hate to think he skipped the parade and celebration based on what many think was his underperformance in the playoffs. Has anyone heard anything remotely close to the truth?

Aaron Donald Career - Snap Counts

#99 Aaron Donald

I can't even express how astounding of a football player this man is. His endurance and will to win is beyond words.

How in the heck AD doesn't have at least 1 INT or TD in his NFL career is baffling?

He's way overdue. Should we expect an interception return for a touchdown from AD in the 2022 season?

Or like many have said, put him at RB on first and goal to go Mcvay. AD still has a few things left to accomplish. ;)

The Sinking SF Millennium Tower

This is an interesting story if you are into this sort of thing…

San Francisco’s Millennium Tower has been sinking, and last year moved 3” on one side. Since it’s construction, the tower has leaned a total of 24 inches to the west and 7.9 inches to the north. It has settled around 18 inches deep into the ground.

This tower opened in 2009. Swanky and expensive apartments.

Its a fascinating story of choices made in the design process. These two videos are well done. Tells the whole story to this point. It is not done.

It is quite the mess as they decide how to fix it. Recent attempts made it worse.

Anyway if you are a geek for stuff like this, these videos are good.

Tom Brady possibly to Whiners????

Did I not say this could fit in every way. Perfect bridge to lance they add Godwin. They run run run. Great offensive line and defense. The perfect way for that old bat to extract revenge. He also would bring others I'm sure and he finishes one last season at his true home. I said it then I will say it now I think there is a good chance this happens. A lot of talk especially today about it but right now just speculation but man does it fit. Nothing for the whiners to give up perfect for lance and presto immediately a contender. Not scared of anyone as we are the champs but this would worry me somewhat.

DeSean Jackson still gets his ring ?

DeSean Jackson congratulates Rams on Super Bowl win: 'Never had any hate in me'

[theramswire.usatoday.com]

Before the 2021 season began, DeSean Jackson signed with the Los Angeles Rams with one goal in mind: win a Super Bowl. However, with Jackson’s role in the offense being minimal, the veteran wideout elected to request a trade or release from the Rams, leading to him signing with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Despite Jackson’s departure from the team earlier in the season, he took to Twitter to congratulate the Rams on defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl on Sunday

Never had any hate in me !! Congrats Rams

— Desean Jackson (@DeSeanJackson10) February 14, 2022

When Jackson requested his release from the Rams, it came as quite a surprise. Entering the season, it was hard to imagine Jackson having a crucial role with Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, and Van Jefferson ahead of him on the depth chart.

Jackson’s role was to be a deep threat in an offense that now had an aggressive quarterback in Matthew Stafford. In seven games with the Rams, Jackson recorded only eight receptions, 221 yards, and one touchdown.

Even though his goal of winning a Super Bowl remained true, it was obvious that he felt like he could contribute more elsewhere. That being said, he didn’t have much of a role with the Raiders either as he finished with 12 receptions for 233 yards and a touchdown in nine games.

At the least, with Jackson leaving for the Raiders, it led the Rams to sign Odell Beckham Jr. Los Angeles could have pursued Beckham regardless of Jackson’s status with the team, but his departure definitely made it more likely to happen.

Considering he was on the roster to begin the season, Jackson will likely receive a Super Bowl ring from the Rams. So even with Jackson leaving the team at an awkward time, he made it clear that he has no hate towards the Rams.

Things I think I think this morning. (With all due apologies to Peter King)

Winning a SB was fun! Let’s do it again!

Stafford critics have become scarce as hen’s teeth, haven’t they?

Stafford will extend this year for about 5 more years and it will be on a semi-friendly deal. Not cheap, of course, but semi-friendly. He will retire a Ram and ultimately be voted into the HOF with 2-3 SB wins in his pocket.

McVay gets a juicy raise and long extension on his contract. He ain’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Snead also gets a well deserved raise. Heck, doesn’t he deserve an Executive of the Year award, too? I mean, what more does he gave to do?

Michel did a great job but he’s a goner. Rams will draft an inexpensive RB every year for the foreseeable future. They learned their lesson with Gurley, I think.

Boom will be extended and take the place of the departed Big Whit.

Speaking of Big Whit, could anybody write a better story for him in his final year? Wow! I see a TV career ahead for him if he’s interested.

I honestly don’t know what Rams are gonna do about Allen and Corbett. I keep waffling back and forth. I do feel reasonably sure that maintaining and maybe even improving that OL will be a very high priority. I believe that lesson has been well learned. I’m still sick about not drafting Humphrey. That’s one of the biggest self inflicted wounds of the Snead/McVay era. Sigh…

Rams should have one of best DL’s in league even after losing SJD. I bet they keep drafting there just to keep the pipeline full, though.

I make a Miller extension a 90% probability. Just makes too much sense for all parties.

I make an OBJ extension at least 60% likely, although it might be a short and incentive laden one because they say that he’s unlikely to play until November. Both Miller and OBJ were playing at an elite level and Snead is all about acquiring or keeping such players.

Speaking of OBJ, let’s not assume that he’ll be out as long as players with his injury back in the day. New surgical techniques are now available and Akers is Exhibit A for a possible 5-6 months recovery period. No reason to think that OBJ won’t devote himself 100% to rehab like Kupp and Akers did, is there?

TE this offseason is gonna be interesting to watch. My guess is that they let Mundt walk and draft a TE somewhere in this reportedly deep TE class. Hopefully, Blanton and Hopkins in the playoffs was not a mirage. I’m reasonably sure that Blanton is legit for this O, but Hopkins still has to win me over.

I’ve got a hunch that this Harris kid is gonna blossom this year and McVay is gonna have a hard time leaving him on the bench. Nice problem to have, huh?

Rams will draft an ILB at some point on Day 3. Probably won’t get snaps in his 1st year but hopefully will contribute along with Jones in year 2. Jones was a good pick but ILB is still a work in progress if we want to compete against top teams.

Rams will draft BPA with their 3rd rounder but CB might be their guy if it comes down to tiebreakers.

When you think about it, there seem to be few holes on this team even after expected UFA losses. I foresee light and targeted FA acquisitions other than the above mentioned Miller and OBJ and then the usual sprinkling of our 8 picks on players that Ram scouts have discovered at many different positions. Rams are among league’s best at this.

Extending Gay and Powell on ST seems like a no brainer. DeCamillis pulled the fat out of the fire and ended the last third of the season with a very fine ST corps in all phases. No reason to think that they won’t pick up this year right where the left off last year.

I have very few concerns about losing asst coaches this offseason. Heck, make that ZERO concerns. This has been going on every single offseason since year one of the McVay regime. And every single offseason McVay has hired terrific replacements, with the sole exception of Bonamego. Yeah, Morris and DeCamillis both gave me early season scares but both came around and had their respective units firing on all cylinders by the latter part of season and throughout the playoffs.

I just reread my post here and I may sound like a cockeyed optimist but I really think optimism is justified for these Ram players and coaches. As I look around the NFC I see NO team that the Rams should fear. Respect, of course, but no team that I consider superior to our Rams. Not one.

That’s a really good feeling, man.

Team trip to Vegas?

How we celebrate! (or, Stafford and Kupp still practicing!)
Very interesting that several players went to Las Vegas - I am guessing to unwind and to hit the little white ball around!

As a comment, I did some consulting during my working career - and while money was no object for some events, or to capture a new account or project - that picture shows one bad ass hospitality suite, right there!!

Eric Weddle and the HOF

Dude was probably going to make it anyway - but did coming out of retirement and winning a ring make him a first ballot no brainer?

And has there ever been a story like this? Guy is one of the best in the league - has a great career but never gets the ring. Retires. 2 years later is called and get to make a run and finally gets it? And it’s not like he was just on the team - arguably, we don’t beat SF without him. Unreal story - one of many.

My confession regarding Matthew Stafford

I was ABSOLUTELY EXCITED when we traded for him. I've always loved Stafford. Ask my family and friends who are mainly packer fans with a Cowboys and Vikings fan sprinkled in, but I always loved him in Detroit and knew he was a baller.

He came in and has been a stud since Day 1, a leader and a badass.

With that said, I know it's only been 1 season and 1 season only BUT, I just confess this,

Matthew Stafford is my FAVORITE Rams QB of all time. And it's not close.

Thank you Stan Kroenke, Les Snead, and Dean McVay for making it happen.. and THANK YOU MATTHEW STAFFORD for wanting to be a Ram and making your way here. Forever thankful, grateful, and proud of you.

Turf vs Grass

Did Kroenke make one big mistake on SOFI. I am seeing a lot of stories on the problems when it comes to turf. I think OBJ's foot got stuck in the pellets and in turn the pressure ended up tearing his ACL. Grass gives and may have not caused the tear. Should that field be changed? Can it be changed at this point?

Noteboom… LT

I’d be very shocked if big a Whit didn’t retire… I think we all would. Which leads to the question of LT. Noteboom is a great tackle, but I seriously worry about his dependability. He’s been injured A LOT with nothing being really obvious when he’s gotten hurt (in my opinion. I’m usually surprised he’s been hurt because nothing really stood out). He’s an URFA and would cost a decent amount to keep. Do we keep him and hope he can stay healthy or let him walk and look else where? I feel like if we kept him we’d be looking at a new tackle by week 3 or 4. Thoughts?
