Wyche: Goff to get more practice reps

This year isn't about this season, it's about the next few years. Think of it as a pre-test where you get the results right away so you know what you need to study up on and what you have down pat.
This is a good analogy, and it probably would be a smart move, IF we had a QB Like say Rogers, Rivers, Brees or Brady, to put back in there, if things go south. But we don't. And I think Keenum is only just now really developing his timing with the WR's. I wouldn't want to mess that up!! (y)o_O Thoughts!?!

Marshall Faulk Q&A with Sporting News

Also, as smart as he appears... is he capable of leading a locker room as a coach? That's a whole different skill set. He did it as a player, but could he do it as a coach? He's never coached before, to my knowledge, so it's quite the unknown.
You may be right CGI, But, Kurt Warner has said on numerous occasions, that having Faulk with him on the field, was like having a Coach with him out there! I wish he would have expanded on that comment!(y):D

This Sunday Will be the last Rams game I watch this season.

I'm definitely interested in being light cavalry and doing dismounted missions. I'm gonna definitely try to get some of the stations you suggested. Hopefully the army has similar plans for me. Thanks again Bc...you have helped more than you know

101st (Fort Campbell, Kentucky) and 10th Mountain (Fort Drum, New York) will be your best bets then, if you don't get an Airborne slot.

I'd try for 101st, since they're an Air Assault unit, you'll get to Air Assault school, and do some fast roping, which is a blast. Airborne guys will call you a leg because you wont have wings, but you can then levy for Airborne school, and get both anyway. Honestly, Airborne guys will always talk a lot of crap about anyone who isn't Airborne, but it's pretty stupid.. I loved jumping, but Air Assault is more common in modern warfare.

No matter where they put you, just enjoy it, what you get out of your service will depend on what you put into it. Keep in mind that all bad things come to an end, so when shit starts to suck, know it's not forever. Above all else, enjoy yourself and give it everything you have.

After this win, please pump the brakes

This is just before we went 3-1, so my words are true.

Losing players like Johnson, Quinn, and Brockers produced what I believed...an exposure of our lack of depth. This team is still improving but will not succeed until key players return at full strength. Too little is said about how those injuries have affected this team
Even with Johnson at cb were still not that good. Especially with the receivers we have left on schedule. Johnson is a good #2 cb we need a elite cb

History shows Fisher may be beyond the point of no return for Rams

The move was made and I'm sure Fisher was instrumental in making it smoother than it could have been.
Yep! All part of the master plan. Have a coach that is proven to be mediocre and then you are just good enough on the field to stay viable but not so good that you have to move from a full stadium and national attention.
Major League the movie all over again. Except for the unplanned wining of course.:sneaky:
Fisher is done as soon as the fans in LA tire of the on field performance and get distracted by what ever else goes on in the area. Unless he can do what Vermiel did and hire position coaches that can get the job done and then get the hell out of their way.
Besides, LA is obviously a baseball town.;) :D

Josh Brown admits to beating up his wife

Sounds like the dude needs serious help. It's horrible what he's done but him being molested--as disgusting and awful an experience that must've been--is no excuse for his actions. I know some women who also went through a similar ordeal as kids and I don't know if it's something anyone truly gets over. People handle it in different ways..unfortunately for Josh Brown he's handled it with violence; and became devoid of empathy. I hope he gets the help he needs, but there's no place for domestic violence in any sport anymore, especially football. You'd think Goodell would spearhead that movement more aggressively.

TRANSCRIPT: Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher -- Post-Practice -- October 20, 2016

I'm sure it looks good on paper, but running it behind other recovers they have to hit their blocks, and they usually don't.
Boras is starting to get TA involved in a more conventional passing game. That is good to see.
I would like to see Austin running crosses....long crosses to get open. Or come in motion from that bubble screen bunch....something to get him one on one in some sort of space.
Agreed. I don't see how anybody could cover him if he's running full speed on a crossing pattern . That's how Brady makes a living in NE . If TA played there he would have big numbers . I hope they soon figure out how to use this kid .

TRANSCRIPT: Jeff Fisher and Gregg Williams -- Post-Practice -- 10/21

GW doesn't pick/review the defensive players selected? Does he look at any college film during the drafting season??????
I assume he may be referring to Janoris Jenkins. I assume further that he and Fisher wanted Janoris back, but Demoff wouldn't go above his limit to resign him (recognizing of course we have lots of players we need to sign.) Just my view that what we assume about how the football operation works (or the coaching, for that matter) may be very different from the reality in some cases.
