To me, playing well would be no turnovers regardless of stats. And at this moment, I have serious doubts Case can play a turnover-free game.Do You think Goff will start the 2nd half if Keenum plays well ???
Yes, please....my fantasy team. Ha!Yeah maybe our D will score 55 points by halftime.
I hope you 1st game is like mine, We Blew-Out the Packers!! What a Thrill, I was 6 Years Old!I will be there. first rams game I'll ever go to!
It would be just like our Rams to win this week and get my hopes up about a run to the playoffs but I'll try and not think about that until a couple of wins in a row at least.
Ah. Yep - never seen it.The Tree house master. He acts just as kooky as Pete Carroll. I guess you have to watch the show to see where I am coming from.
He was a 3rd round pick that had a really good rookie year. Most fan bases try to forget about and move beyond bad picks. Rams fans seem to revel in them I just don't get it.
Don't think anyone knew he was going to lose his mind this year, I don't know how you guys wouldn't see him contributing, our offense could use his speed, but just another disappointment to add to this season. Hope the guys is alright and turns his life around.Help what? Taking opioids amount of meds?
Fans.....
This reminded me. Question!? Jim Thomas like to refer to the Rams as the former, Cleveland Rams - L.A. Rams - Anaheim Rams - St. Louis Rams - L.A. Rams. After the New Stadium opens, Will JT insist on calling the Rams, "The Inglewood Rams!?!BREAKING GROUND
Next Thursday, the Rams will hold the ground-breaking ceremony for their new Inglewood stadium, the $2.6 billion venue that will host their home games starting in 2019.
I was one who took exception to your critique because you picked a game in which he received a game ball for his efforts and frankly, your conclusion was, in this case, inaccurate. Sorry, but that's a fact and I'll take the coaches evaluation. I'm not trying to bust your chops as I think you're one of the more knowledgeable posters on the board, just saying perception and reality are sometimes different.
One thing in general for you and anyone else making armchair evaluations is that often what you see and think the problem is, may in fact be the exact opposite, especially when it comes to play on the line. When you see a player appear to completely whiff, more than likely there was a blown assignment or mitigating factor that impacted the play. That's one of the reasons players dislike and coaches ignore PFF ratings, they are making evaluations without knowing all the facts. Unless you're a coach, in the huddle, at the line, know the blocking assignment, the protections, pickups, routes to be run, etc. there is no way to make an accurate assessment from watching a game on tv.
There are definitely issues with the offense and it's not just the OL & QB. I wish I could go into further depth, but there are a few players who are not the problem and Barnes is one of them.
Not sure if more padded practices are needed but maybe so as I think the agreement swung too far the other direction. I do, however, feel that this BS about no contact with the coaches is killing young players' progress. There is no rational reason that players can't study film, discuss technique, etc. with their coaches during the off season. I can see giving them an amount of time equivalent to long vacations but what they have done IMO is pathetic and it has really hurt the game.I'm not necessarily advocating more padded practices, in fact, I'd be opposed to it. I just feel that the transition from the college game with it's preponderance of spread offenses to the massive playbook of the NFL is a huge challenge that few can quickly meet.
Actually, Carr's 2nd year he was sacked only 15 times in the season...his 3rd, 4th, and 5th years were statistically his best. Also some of his highest sack totals too (49, 68, & 41). His highest sacked year was his first, 76. Was he ruined??? Only Carr can tell you that, I just think he wasn't that good. Look around, just because you're sacked and play early doesn't mean you'll bust out...David Carr was thrown to the wolves his first year in Houston with a mediocre to bad offensive line. He got pounded every game and never recovered from the experience.
