Derion Kendrick

There’s definitely a good player in there. He’s even- dare I say it- potentially good enough to be a solid #2 corner.

He just has to cut out the boneheadedness- both on and off the field.

I’d get a shutdown corner either through free agency or in the draft, and let Derion try to stake his claim to play every week in training camp and the preseason.

Stafford for MVP?

This is the guy from the playoffs during the title run. And the guy who spent last season in Cancun. Full mastery of McVay's offense in effect. Giving us an edge vs every defense, even the very best defenses. It took the OL rounding into form to bring him fully out, but yes right now he is the best QB in this league, seeing as how the guy who usually owns that title has been out all season.

So they can crown QBs who are not as good as him all they want, and honestly I don't really give a shit if they do. Crown Purdy or Jackson or whoever else you want so the dipshits like Collingsworth can suck them off during his telecasts. I'm gonna crack some cold ones, light up a fat doobis, and enjoy Matthew Fucking Stafford dragging this roster as far as he can before the wheels fall off.

They're gonna fall off. This is a team game no matter what guys like Collingsworth try to make of the QBs. Takes a full roster, not even just the eleven. But it's still gonna be fun as hell watching my QB do his thing. :trophy:
You seriously have to ask: how many QBs - including the elite ones - could have pulled off three straight come from behind victories in the 2021 divisional playoff, the NFC Championship game, and the Super Bowl? I haven't seen a streak of comeback victories like that ever in my entire life, and I have been following the Horns & the NFL since I was less than 10 years old.

With Matthew as the skipper of the U.S.S. Horns, the Rams have a legitimate shot of playoff glory if they get in.

A big Defensive deficiency.

I don't pretend to be a schematic wizard. Just a fan and an old bastard with a poor memory.

Re: Tomlinson I would like to see him utilized more. I don't doubt that he's been on the bench for a reason but that speed is very alluring right now. Sadly we'll probably have to wait for next year to see him.

Overall and strangely enough I like our younger corner options. I even like Kendrick though I don't think he is a long term answer. But what I think we need is a stud to take on the top draws. Then the rest of these guys can be moved around and tried here and there to find best combination.

3-4 or 4-3????

Rams don't run a lot of Cover-0 but this is a way they do it. They run it from the Shell so the guys
are not mugged up on the line ... but they send 6 rushers --- both OLber and the MIKE but the secondary plays man by matching routes... there is no deep help but presnap it looks like there will be

We can also see the gap assignments... the nose takes 1 gap, not 2 ...

"A Team You Don't Want To Face..."

I can see how he comes off that way. However, as a former PSL holder in St. Louis, we'd gather around the building at the player's entrance after the game, and Chris was always the first one out and always the last to leave. He talked to everyone, took pictures with everyone, and signed anything and everything. He didn't have to do that, but he always did and it gave me a certain level of appreciation for his character.
I concur I seen exactly this with my sole visit to the Lou. He literally stayed and talked to everybody that wanted to. The time I was there he stayed until almost everyone was gone and was the time Sam Bradford came and signed my little brothers jersey for his 21st B-Day ( got him drunk asf! lol!) . Was a good evening after a win against the Rainy City bitch Pigeons.
