What 49ers fans are saying before the game

I think people misunderstand the job of talking heads. Look at Skip Bayless. Dude is getting rich. He's not stupid. Their job isn't to educate or say intelligent things. Their job is to get people to pay attention and tune in. It's easier to do that by saying stupid crap that makes people angry or laugh. It gets you talking about them, like here.
Yup unfortunately some people take these talking heads opinions as an educated viable opinion on a players ability.

"Coach Akbar" railing on Gurley

Pretty funny I can't find a link to it but if you get a chance to see it, it's worth a chuckle.

"C'mon Todd Gurley step up! The 9ers are giving it away and you're the only RB not to have 100 and a TD"

Para-phrasing

I guess that part isn't so funny.

Would love to see this
We all know Admiral Ackbar is a St Louis Ram fan - so it's good to hear he's still on board after the move

I can take PayPal or Chase Quickpay and will email you with paper tickets (PDF). Don't miss TGII run for 100 and Goff throw for 250 and 2 TDs this weekend.

Private message me if you're interested. Unfortunately, we cannot travel from Sacramento this weekend and our friends/family we normally sell tickets to are sick. If u need a reference or anything, I've met LACHAMP46 and have texted a couple others here.

Thanks and GO Rams!!

Chargers expected to exercise option to move to L.A.

Spanos admits he’s leaning toward L.A. move

The next time the fans of the visiting team outnumber the fans of the home team in a game between the Raiders and Chargers, the home team may be in playing in the city the visiting team once called home.

Chargers owner Dean Spanos admitted on Sunday that he’s leaning toward exercising his right to move to Los Angeles.

Spanos initially made the comments to Scott Kaplan of CBS, and Spanos then elaborated after the game.

“I said I was not going to make up my mind until after the season,” Spanos said, via Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. “[Kaplan] asked the question, ‘Are you closer to leaving than staying?’ I said, ‘That would probably be an accurate statement.’ I also said I’m not going to make up my mind until after the season. . . . Everything is in place. I’m waiting on the city of San Diego.”

As Spanos waits, time is running out. The deadline for doing a deal with the Rams to share space in Inglewood arrives on January 15.

Spanos is widely expected to move, due in large part to the absence of any viable plan to keep the team in town. A recent non-offer to give the Chargers a 99-year, $1 annual lease, supported by two City Council members who opposed the ballot measure that failed miserably last month, rubbed Spanos the wrong way.

So did the outcome of the vote, which managed a positive outcome of only 43 percent. On Sunday, Spanos acknowledged that, if the vote (which needed to get 66 percent to pass) had gotten at least 50 percent in the affirmative, Spanos “mostly likely, probably” would have felt differently.

At this point, the Chargers “most likely, probably” will be leaving, barring a miracle even bigger than anything that could be expected on Christmas, Festivus, or any other major holiday, real or made up.
I personally would pay absolutely no attention to anything Florio has to say on this matter!!

What happened to the Giants today?

The "fix" is in. Sure nuff, the Vegas line abruptly changes before the game and "WELLA!!! Eagles jump out to 14 zip lead 5 minutes into the game. I don't believe in coincidences and I don't believe the success of the Patriots over the last decade is all on Billecheat.

Keep your real money in your pocket folks. Vegas was started by crooks and they're always around big money can be had, manipulating and pulling strings you and I don't have access to. Some will tell you the criminal element in gone from Vegas, its not its just not as visible as it used to be.

Bonsignore: Rams' coaching search likely to focus on up-and-coming assistants

Yeah but he did say he could help an organization in an operations role up top. Signifying to me at least that he'd like to go that route.
And a smart move it would be! A young up and comer like Kyle would best be served having that someone helping him learn and grow. Mike S. has been around. He knows what type of organizations work and ones that don't. and KD admitted as much that this recent failure was an "organizational failure" Which means they know they could use some savvy help. Mike can aslo help in pin pointing the asst. hires.

Video: Janoris Jenkins "Its different here in New York, everybody wants to win.

i pretty much call that double standards (and i preferred Jenks over TRU but knew he was never going to stay )

we didnt have a winning season with JJ either
Which part the player not giving 100% for the team who took a chance on him and taught him how to play in the NFL but wiling to ball out for someone else where he doesn't need to be a leader?

I'm fine with them speaking up and enjoy most of what I hear from the inside information. What I don't like to hear is someone saying they didn't get the vibe that the "team" wanted to win, I do not believe there is a professional sports organization out there who would rather just go through the motions than have a winning franchise. The players are the ones who make a difference and lead each other, hold each other accountable, and reap the benefits of being gifted athletes on winning teams. They are the ones who have the attitude or not both good and bad.

Who are our Pro Bowlers

I can clearly agree with this. He is our best player...But several defenders (Ogletree, Barron, TJ MacDonald) are finally closing the gap.

@TheDYVKX
My bad...not trying to beat you over the head....But I think you guys want him in the pro bowl because of what UK is saying...he's OUR best player...not necessarily better/more deserving than others at his position.
I think its more the fact that he is still so so good on a bad team .... and we have had deserving players on bad teams and they never made it due to other players that had the name but not the stats to back it up so pardon me if I'm not boo hooing over other teams players who haven't made it ;)

Fill me in

Man...congrats bro....don't worry yourself about the 2016 season...they have most of the games on youtube now...so you can catch up...and tell US what YOU think...

Goff = rookie...really needs a pro offseason IMO.

Gurley = I'd almost call what he's doing as pouting...And, I'm pretty sure while we don't have the best talent as linemen, I can point to the Offensive line scheme as a major problem..If we leave ANOTHER UNBLOCKED DT in the hole....Seriously looked confused up there. Glad Gurley spoke up...it was becoming a circus.

Defense...frustrated...we need new blood at DC, CB , and DL...We'll be fine over there.

Sources: Jon Gruden a focal point in L.A. Rams' coaching search

I do feel strongly that we need a person who has had established success as a successful HC in the NFL at some point... ideally, a long track record of success (not some super nova crap). The Fisher hire fit some of that, but - if you actually looked under the hood at his record as a HC - it might have given you some hesitation. But, he was a name for sure... learn from that mistake. The new guy has to have a proven record of sustained success.

I think Gruden fits that bill, as does Payton.

I really like Shaw but I get nervous because he has no NFL HC experience.
I agree with all of this, totally. I don't think Fisher was a "name" coach, I think like you said he checked all the boxes, but sadly the red flags about him pretty much all came with him.

I can get behind the hot coordinator theory but much prefer what you are preaching. I do think the Shanahan situation is an interesting one, as Shanny SR could be vital. Let him take the Dave McGinnis "assistant Head Coach" role while Junior the full fledged HC

Gruden would have been great, and I'd love nothing more than to hear an "I told you so" if Gruden reverses course and signs on
