Make known your 2023 prediction, and stick by it!!!

I think we can win 9-10 games. Our defense definitely worries me but I think the offense will look much better this year. Cam looked like his old self at the end of the season and Stafford is actually throwing this time of year and looks healthy. Tbh, how different is the offense compared to 2021? I know we had Woods and Jackson for the better part of the season but Odell did barely anything for us(in the regular season) and we still put up points because Kupp was that good. The Oline is obviously the biggest question mark but I have faith in Sean to get his guys ready.

Anyway, teams have won with more unknowns on their defense and they didn’t have Aaron Donald. So I’ll say 10 games officially and the offense ranks top 10 while the defense surprises us and is top 15.

GAME DAY SNF - Bills at Dolphins

Dolphins secondary is dogshit. What's interesting about that too is that they're a Super Bowl favorite. Seems like this year is full of flawed teams.

So I don't want to say we have a real chance to win it all but at this point there's no team I am afraid of. Rams had only one loss after that bye and it was to the Ravens in their house and we lost in OT due to special teams. That's enough to make me wonder...
We have one glaring weakness heading into the playoffs. Our kicker missed another extra point today. Our kicker sucks. If we go down because of missed kick(s) in the playoffs, what a shame to the effort of the whole team. Playoff games are often hard fought close games. Missed kicks are game changers.

Jaime Jaquez, Jr. - the Puka Nacua of the NBA

Most of us who have followed Jaquez and his sister play since their H.S days in Camarillo aren’t real surprised by his success.

He gets a lot of points in traffic and can be scrappy and physical.

I can certainly see how you drew the comparison of Jaquez to Nacua. Both play with effort, heart and an infectious enthusiasm with understated athleticism.

Jaquez went right after the Lakers took Hood I was bummed. But I think Reaves gives the Lakers a similar skill set

Final Week Playoff Outlook

Does anyone know what scenario has to play out this weekend to maintain our Lions matchup in the playoffs?

From what I can see, if we lose and GB wins, we are tied and they own the tie breaker, so we'd be matched up with the cowgirls, which is the match up I'd most like to avoid in round 1, seeing as how we got spit roasted by them already this season. Granted, we didn't have Kyren and Stafford got hurt fairly early in that game, we still could not stop their offense at all.

Answered my own question. But wonder if Lions might change slots potentially.

GB plays the Bears, so i guess I'll be pulling for Bears this weekend (and us naturally). All we have to do is win, but, with backups, I think we may struggle.
Dallas will play to win to get potentially 2 home playoff games.

If Dallas wins, and we lose, only Green Bay could steal our 6 seed with a win which would force us to play Dallas in that scenario.

But if Dallas wins, either a Ram win or GB loss keeps us @Lions.

CELEBRATE !! Celebration thread...shoot its a pheW

Maybe he played well for an injured player. I saw him getting pushed around most of the game.

And I’m pretty sure that you didn’t mention his injury in you original post. He’s a good versatile backup. He’s not starter material imo.
You're correct, I had no idea he was injured until it came out on Monday (I think). Also no, I don't think he should start either... but he's a valuable versatile piece to the OLine.
