Calling all conspiracy theorists

Well, it's a foregone conclusion to a lot of people that the Patriots will win, so there is that possibility of interested parties betting against that for a profit if such a thing could be helped along.

And then there's this whole anti-patriotic trend thing going on, so I see where you're going.

Could be a win/win for the NFL if the play their cards right/wrong depending on your perspective.

I don't actually care, because I'm usually cheering for the underdog and I hate the Patriots anyway, with the Rams being the exception, which in my mind isn't actually possible since their recent trend is to play down to their opponents anyway ...

We landed Wade Phillips!

.

ok, just saw the rest of that interview.

these are the players mcvay is excited to work with. naturally goff, gurley and tavon on offense. pretty much the whole d. he mentioned donald first, obviously, and quinn. then threw in ogletree and barron, tjmac and mo, tru, gaines and joyner.

donald will not be changing his playing style at all. he's the best at what he does and he will continue doing just that with phillips calling the shots.

i'm so impressed with the way mcvay expresses himself, his beliefs and his ideals. so much better than mr smug (who did nothing to act so smug).

Fantasy NFL Leagues

Little help required - not sure if I have posted this in the right place or not so apologies if not.

I have been a manager in a Yahoo based Fantasy Football League for the last two seasons and have, in the main, enjoyed it.

I am now looking to set up a Fantasy League for UK based LA Rams fans and wanted to tap into the experience of other on ROD.

How are Yahoo Fantasy Leagues viewed by others?
Are there any Fantasy Leagues that are easier to run than others?

Any views or recommendations welcome.

Passing yards versus rushing yards today........very telling

I think Bell being out had a lot to do with the Steeler's ruhsing. He is their best player.

The Steelers are good but had no chance

Until tonight, I would have said "But the Pats have seen precious few good offensive teams."

Woo Hoo they will be seeing one in the SB. Loss Number 3 please.

God I miss the days when our QB threw for 300+ yards on the regular.

Warner did that back when the rules were different. If you took that team and time warped it into today they would score somewhere near 700 and would hang a 70 burger on someone twice during the season.

Jared Goff says Rams can run Redskins' deep passing offense under Sean McVay

Okay, but what WR have we developed?

At some point it's either a total failure in scouting or coaching.

Seeing as Tavon has had breakout days and shown glimpses of what he could be, I tend to believe it's coaching. That also jibes with all the available evidence about our crappy offense.
To this point though, he could be considered part of the problem. He drops contested balls. Many on 3rd down.

Players stricken with flu | Fire alarm pulled Steelers hotel

The first offense of pulling a fire alarm without cause is a misdemeanor. Repeat offenders can face felony charges. However, the first offense may result in felony charges if the prank results in injury or property damage. Pulling a fire alarm inside of a building such as a school, an office building, hotel, etc. could have serious consequences. If the offender is charged with culpable negligence, each person present in that building counts as a charge of negligence. For example, if someone pulls a fire alarm in a hotel with 200 occupants, that perpetrator potentially faces up to 200 counts of culpable negligence.

Rams Coaching Interviews:It's official, McVay hired

It sure appears that way.

Heard post talk about Mike Munchauk .

-- He took over for Fisher. Fisher as a Rams HC with The Rams had bad offensive lines from day one. Two times Bradford got hurt for the season. You would think he would have made the offensive line better.
-- Maybe it is all because of Mike ?? Not sure if he is a good OC ?? In my opinion it would give him solid resume by working as The Rams OC under McVay.
My guess is the Guy from Buffalo gets The either the OL or OC job depending on if a certain coach takes the Positiin or not ?? -- We should know shortly.
--Senior Bowl is huge for finding solid OL guys.

Brandon Marshall

Can someone please explain the love/intrigue by Stills. Seriously, I haven't watched any dolphins games, and glancing at his numbers isn't really that impressive. The only thing I remember him from is dropping that wide open TD pass against Seattle in a 10-12 loss.

He's one of the game's best vertical threats. You don't get him to make him your #1. You sign him to be your #2. He'd make sense if we bring in more of a possession WR like Pierre Garcon or Brandon Marshall. Stills takes the top off of defenses and works outside the numbers. It's about having someone that the defenses have to worry about getting vertical.
