Kurt Warner giving his thoughts on Jared Goff *today *10 minutes

He did say Colin Kaepernick was going to be great too....Not that I don't like Kaep...I do...but that's what Kurt said.
He's just too nice of a guy for me to picture as a coach...Maybe the private kind that you pay and they say all the right things to your kid...so you'll come back and pay another $50 for a half hour.

I just wanna know how we're gonna address this:

Steve Smith joins NFL Network

Almost stopped watching the video before the end and should have. Great wide receiver traits including body control, timing the ball, physical, toughness and speed. Intensity may be his best trait but, also could be his worse trait. NFLN has a lot of former players so he should fit in fine. I don't watch the channel or much pregame and post game stuff.

Rating how much each team needs a QB

San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers' plans remain on hold while the team settles on a GM to work with presumptive new coach Kyle Shanahan. Colin Kaepernick is under contract for one more season at $14.5 million if the 49ers elect to buy time. Shanahan's ties to Kirk Cousins provide a fun diversion while Cousins remains without a contract for 2017. Would San Francisco trade draft picks for the right to pay a solid starter at the top of the market when that starter might struggle with a weaker supporting cast?

When new coach Kyle Shanahan and General Manager John Lynch begun the reconstruction of the 49ers, one of their first moves will be to find a quarterback.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, 49ers starter Colin Kaepernick is opting out of his deal and will become an unrestricted free agent. According to Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury News, he can’t officially make the move until March 2, but the new management structure won’t change his decision.

Kaepernick and the 49ers restructured his contract last fall, clearing the way for him to resume starting in place of Blaine Gabbert.

In the deal, Kaepernick gave up the $14.5 million in injury guarantees in exchange for a shot at the open market sooner. His original deal was set to run through 2020, and it’s hard to know if Shanahan and/or Lynch would even be interested in him.

But there ought to be a market for him, as he played reasonably well on a poor team, with 16 touchdowns and just four interceptions in 12 games.

People forget how young Goff was last year. That age difference matters.

And IMO the QB coach hire with his insane focus on protections is going to pay enormous dividends this season. We have a QB with the talent required, who doesn't have any serious mechanics issues, and who is dedicated to his craft. He'll be good to go under this regime.

This is an exciting time to be a Rams fan.
