Hahaha, that felt like I was looking at myself in the mirror.
Watkins left practice gimpy yesterday or Saturday. This could be a bad sign for Buffalo.
Pretty sure he gave up zero sacks his rookie year. I remembered because he was the only tackle to do so.
Now, With this^^ I really wish I could make the game!! It would make things so much nicer!View attachment 20853
I have a Parking Pass for Rams V Cowboys.
In covered structure on Coliseum grounds
Cost 55
sell 40
It would be nice to bring Manning in, maybe as Director of Pro-Personnel! Anything, so McVay can pick his Brain, that would be great!1. I think Peyton Manning is preparing for a career as the next John Elway. Now, I said “preparing.” It’s not any sure thing he’ll do it. But he’s doing his homework, getting to know different teams, different ways of doing things. He had dinner with coach Sean McVay and GM Les Snead and COO Kevin Demoff of the Rams recently. “He’s very curious,” McVay told me. Manning as a GM and franchise architect would be quite interesting, obviously. He’d be a formidable foe, wherever he lands, if he chooses to do it.
Those are some great looking stats, ...I'm not saying you're off base with your thinking on this @LesBaker and you might very well be correct. Logic says Gurley will be the preferred choice and first option inside the 5 yard-line etc...
I will say though, one of the biggest selling points on Goff coming out of Cal was his innate ability as a redzone/goal line magician to throw the ball with a crazy high success rate.
I could be the one off base on this, but my guess is McVay will not hold back with allowing him to throw the ball in goal line situations and being concerned about mucking up Goff's confidence.
His career redzone stats at Cal were better than almost every one of the top QB's drafted in the last 10 years.
For his entire college career at Cal in goal to go situations, Goff threw 49 touchdowns to just two interceptions.
As a junior, he completed 64.5 percent for 4,714 yards with 43 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, ranking ninth nationally in passer rating, third in TD passes, second in yards per game, 22nd in completion percentage and 10th in yards per attempt.
While Goff will occasionally force throws and make mistakes, he threw 28 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the red zone.

I would like to see this^^ out of him this year! While Goff will occasionally force throws and make mistakes, he threw 28 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the red zone.
SIDE NOTE: I like your Avatar!Jack's pic above and on my avatar - it's lighting. I have a jersey from the 73-74 years in the correct royal blue with tackle twill yellow numbers.
Some other team jerseys get that lighting variance in old pics. The old Charger photos have that illusion more than any other team. They started off royal, but some pics it looks darker, then they went to a lighter blue (some call it powder, I call it sky) in the late 60s, but in some pics it looks washed out, then to darker royal in the 70s.
I seriously doubt it. What are the chances of a serious injury? Would 1 in 8 sound about right? If so the policy would cost $12.5M. That's before the insurance company puts in a profit margin.athletes like AD have injury insurance he probably has at least a 100mil injury plan. he needs to get his ass back on the field. if he doesn't I would make him sit for the next 4 years. he knows he is going to get payed and him holding out doesn't change anything.
I really like this ^^^change in cut timing! Can someone tell me, isn't the "10 man Practice Squad" an increase of 2 players!? It seems to me prior t this it was an 8 man squad! anyone?Unlike recent years, when rosters were trimmed to 75 from 90 and then to 53, NFL teams this season will carry 90 players and then cut down to 53 after the fourth preseason game. They also can retain 10 practice-squad players.
My gut reaction is to say "my body hurts at age 53, cry me a river." Too strong?
I don't know....I do feel bad for the guy that he hurts so much and that he didn't quit the sport after a year in it....
Looked at other NFL teams, and the average starting RT is in the 6-5 6-6 area. Brown is 6-3. Seems the rams are going against the norm here. We shall see how it works. Donnal is still in the mix to start at RT IMO.
Naw. I started out of big fan of Jenkins but watching him get burnt like Toast Patterson while he was eyeing that Pick 6 constantly unfortunately turned me against him he's not a team player he's a "me" guy.
He has admitted that the pick-6 is more important to him then being a shutdown corner.
He also admitted that he gets kind of lazy towards the end of the game.
Who even admits that kind of stuff?
I like this photo, but they all should have been "ID'd" at least by their ROD screen names!! So we know who's who!
If you guys enjoyed that video you should hit the subscribe button for more happy endings!![]()
They need to go for 90,000+ in the Coliseum regular-season game though. Damn that 70,000 thing!
Let's get that place rocking!![]()
Thank you! Charles is the absolute man and we love him. Hopefully he will call the Rams/Redskins game so I can meet him when I venture out there.Just got out of the car while listening to the end of Charles Johnson talk. Man he can talk football and talk football. You guys kept right up with him. I know some people think he talks too much but, he has great opinions. I like him doing the games too. His take on Wentz and Fisher as a match made sense. I liked Goff but, I thought Wentz fit Fisher better. I don't think I'll ruin his Rams prediction CAUSE ROD POSTERS should Listen to this. His comments on Fisher's team losing to teams they should beat is right on. Win in the division and lose to teams they should beat. That was on Fisher. Too much emotion and not enough teaching.
Jake the intro chat was good too. The sound quality was so much better the last two casts (liked the Hemingway interview but didn't post). Rams D Line has some depth to Ease away from Easley. Austin's been healthy before this off season stuff but, he could use the reps. Good job.
Man..that bust does not look like Kurt..wtf?
