Klein/Thiry Podcast: Donald Holdout, Goff Progress, Jamon Brown & Snead Interviews

I thought it might've been a one off and have been tempted to give it another go. I don't think I'll bother

Should not really be that hard if that's your craft, they actually teach you to count a second after someone speaks, but she just could not help herself. I like Gary Klein, now he's no Henry Grantland Rice, but when given the opportunity, he makes some good points, but IMO, Dani Klupenger is far better, but I'm a tad biased because of Dani's looks.

Johnny Manziel wants an NFL comeback

He reminds me of the 9th grade kid who you spent a lot of time trying to motivate to do well since he had so much potential. (I'm a teacher)

Then you see him working at the quick lube after he drops out 4 years later. It's always sad.

He's been a fool, but he's got a lot of life left to live with what he threw away.

Well there is a difference. Johnny Tricycle has been spoiled and entitled all of his life, literally his entire life.

He's also been dishonest and "above the law", remember the signinggate thing? He didn't even actually need the money his parents are millionaires. But the dicknose (thanks to the poster who dropped that word I've been waiting to use it!) felt like he was entitled to it even though he was breaking the rules and knew he was breaking the rules. He is so dumb he even took pics of it.........

The 9th grade kid may have had struggles and issues. Johnny Tricycle suffered from affluenza.

Both of them may bounce back, but the 9th grade kid at the quick lube probably has a much better chance of being or becoming a good human being.

PFF: Play-caller tendencies and their impact on fantasy stock

I think it's interesting, and while player matchups will certainly have an impact, it probably all washes out in the end. I'm wondering though if there is any correlation with team record? It would seem to me that a team that is losing is going to target their #1 and #2 WRs more often, as they try to eat up big chunks of yardage in a hurry, instead of checking down with a RB, or even a safety-valve TE.

The Big Fight Thread

If Conor were facing a mid level, say the 20th ranked guy in that weight class, who is hungry and not worried about PPV audience he would get destroyed very quickly. He really proved the point with them being different sports.

Watch where his hands are and that tells you all you need to know. If a boxer came at him he'd be out early

And FWIW, should not count as 50-0, was an exhibition IMO, not a match. The glove weights alone should make it unofficial

I think it was sanctioned so it counts, but I don't think it should.

I didn't know glove weight made a difference, but if it does then this shouldn't be considered a match.

Browns CB Joe Haden to Steelers, OL Cameron Erving to Chiefs

Something to consider folks, Steelers were heavy in going after Tru Johnson the last couple of off-seasons and now that they've committed some funds to Haden, there eyes might not be set on him anymore, thus maybe improving our odds of resigning him at a more reasonable number. As much as I don't like Tru, this only helps in possibly resigning him.

I could see a slight home discount from Tru's camp in the off-season. Just not a fan of his tho so we'll see.

Run game looks good

Looks like the can run to the left better. Gurley looks showed some patience and power. McVay can show some nice balance to keep defenses honest. Throw in some quick passes to Kupp and Woods. Burn them deep with Watkins and the others. There is going to more options this year. Hopefully Tavon gets some carries and fakes. Like Goff said stay ahead of the chains and good things will happen.
