Max out Playmakers

I want to see McVay display his big sexy offensive brain by getting Austin the ball in space.
Jet sweep and running out of the back field (I know, D puts in a dime because we have empty backfield personal). How very Boras.
Patience and time will tell.
He has a good job of getting the ball to Gurley in the pass game.
Watkins, Gurley, Kupp, Everett, Austin.
All can be playmakers.

I don't know about Austin...I don't believe he's a real WR. I don't believe he should be running like a tail back. The jet sweep hasn't really worked since midway through the last year in St Louis. Austin is the most expensive punt returner in history, and giving the ball to him over Gurley, Watkins, or Kupp is a wasted touch, imo. Sure he has had huge games, or a couple of them anyway...But if you add the yards and TD's gained in those few games in which he was a freak, to all of the other touches/yards/TD's...I imagine the stats derived by that are pretty bad overall.

No mas.

Redskins at Rams

Worried about stopping the run today, hopefully, having Donald back will help. Need a quick strike early and the Redskin defense should be vulnerable as not only will McVay want this win, but also Linebacker Coach Joe Barry who was fired as their defensive coordinator, Aubrey Pleasant CB Coach and TE Coach Shane Waldron, who left Washington to follow McVay to Los Angeles.

The Early Games

Brady looked like himself and the Patriots D held the Saints mostly in check. I'm good with that result.

Not so happy with having two healthy wideouts on the roster by the end of the game. Losing Edelman and Amendola is a punch.

Watching the Dallas game and Siemian looks really good. I'm surprised.

Hurricane Irma

Thanks Mems.

It was just the wife and I who rode Irma out here in Orlando. @Ramrasta went to Vegas last week and won't be back till tomorrow. The twins were up in Tallahassee (FSU) and they only lost power for about an hour up there... plus their classes were canceled all last week.

My farm (pets) are fine. My generator was basically purchased for my tank... so the fish didn't know anything was wrong. My parrot was ticked with not having the lights on while he ate his dinner at night... but he is fine.

My new pet... this giant zit on my face is now being tamed by the airconditioning. It has it's own heartbeat right now still... but I believe that it is now fading fast.

I'm glad it's back on!!! What a harsh week it's been for you.

I'll sheepishly admit that I slightly/kinda/guilty pleasure enjoyed poking fun at the guy living the Life of Reilly suddenly having a pain in the ass land in his life, but in all seriousness I know how harsh it can be. My friend JC still doesn't have power and it looks to be a few more days until he gets it. He's been 8 days and it looks like it'll be 3-4 more.

So here is my last jab at you @Selassie I and you know I love you..........

People of R.O.D. I present you photographic evidence of The Zitumor.

Rams sign OT Cornelius Lucas

So now because he's been a backup and ST ace he's injury prone because he hasn't played a lot of snaps? The fact is he's been a backup his entire career and he hasn't played a lot of snaps. But everybody (IE Bronco's fans who watched him and Wade Phillips) like what they saw from him when he was playing. Tackles as a stat to show a DB played good? If they don't throw at him or don't run to his side of the field he's not going to get them. Joyner played the majority of his snaps at safety. He damned well better have had more tackles than a corner. My initial comment was a joke I didn't realize you were this serious in your worry about him. Again he has been a backup that his coaches and his fans loved and he's finally getting a chance to start. Keep your eye on him if you want you're likely to see what everybody else did, a good player.
Thank you I will OldSchool. Based on KW's playing history with the Broncos I would not have given to much thought on Websters long list of nagging injuries for a non starter & did not in fact. However it was the events that have occurred since TC & pre season & the his first start since 2013 that kicked up my attention.

KW's absence for all 4 pre season games due to health concerns & the early first quarter shoulder injury is not positive here. I do find it hard to understand (but like I said before I have only one working brain cell) that I as a fan could look @ placing little weight on current facts & evidence..... that there is an issue here when you look at the entire body of work.

I never used the words "Injury Prone" those were your words. I agree with you here OldSchool that KW is a good player & must be because Wade is no fool. I want him to be our starting outer corner for the future. Oh by the way more than half of LJ's snaps occurred playing the Nickle from my observations with Countess & Davis in @ FS. We do see things differently sometimes do we not:). Makes it interesting around here my fellow Ram fan:cheers:.

P.S.Did you forget to get back with me on my question a few days ago????

Overtime episode 6

Apologies @leoram i should continue to explain that it's my Podcast. People enjoy hearing things about the NFL altogether. Not just the Rams.

I enjoy your podcasts on the Rams. Perhaps I was too harsh, my apologies. Just let us know in advance it's not Rams related so I can choose. When I want to know more about other teams, I go to their boards because it's fans like us who really take the time to give in depth, accurate insight.

What Redskins Fans Are Saying Before The Game

Redskins 74, Rams 3
:rolllaugh::rolllaugh::rolllaugh::rolllaugh:

Y'know, I just remembered something
When Wade Phillips was with the Broncos, they were always vulnerable to runs up the middle. Their defense was really solid except for that. I think it was because he always tried to bring so much pressure on the QB that he left the middle a bit exposed.
I kinda remember this too...and I think we still have that issue. When Brockers leaves the field, the middle is weakened.

Cousins' give a **** is broken. He does not care about this organization. He's trying to stay healthy so he can reunite with Kyle Shanahan in SF.

Gruden looks defeated, like he knows the end is near. At least that's what some of the local beat reporters are saying. Not his fault, he means well and tries hard but this job just isn't for him.

We we have a bunch of dudes on 1-year contracts. The 2016 draft class may be the worst ever assembled. Our team's future is very bleak so don't expect a lot of energy or fire from the burgundy and gold.

Congrats on the 2nd win
:rolllaugh::rolllaugh::rolllaugh::rolllaugh:

Sheep suck, LA doesnt deserve a team. McVey looks like a 10 year old with a fake mustache

Redskins 49
Rams 3
:rolllaugh::rolllaugh::rolllaugh::rolllaugh:
Here is what one of our posters posted, maybe you can elaborate?

DE: Stacy McGee - JAG
NT: Ziggy Hood - Liability
DE: Jonathan Allen - Talented rookie
OLB: Ryan Kerrigan - Very good player
ILB: Mason Foster - Average
ILB: Zach Brown - Average to above average
OLB: Preston Smith - Inconsistent
CB: Josh Norman - Great player
CB: Bashaud Breeland - Inconsistent
FS: D.J. Swearinger - Good last year; bad before that
SS: DeShazorEverett - Uncertain - JRobinson
Looks strong vs the run....but very susceptible to the pass....especially in the middle of the field to the TE's and RB's...Ryan Kerrigan is a problem....Havenstein better be on his p's & q's.....or I'd look for that Lucas guy to get more reps in practice.
That will leave us to play more of a 5-2 look rather than a 3-4.
Same thing to me...No???

What? they don't even mention their new secret weapon, Brian Quick
That's why he's a secret....:shocking::dizzy:

Yo Reno Rams Fans.

We are going to head over to Coach's on South Virginia during the early game to grab a table. If that doesn't work out, we're thinking the sports bar at the Peppermill.

BTW - the Redwood apparently doesn't have the Ticket. They advertise the Thursday and Monday games so that's probably true.
Sorry man.
I walked over to Redwood and asked, got the same answer, thought I posted it.
Any of the sports bars, Coaches, Bully's, Flowing Tide etc, all show all the games.
The sports books are tough. Hard to find a seat at all.
Good luck and enjoy.
Go Rams!!

The biggest assets on this Ram team are it's coaches...

He had an All-Pro vote last year.
As much as I liked the fact that he made the 2nd team All-Pro last season, it was only 1 vote and 4/5 other Lbs had 1 vote as well. Ogletree is one of my favorite players on D, he needs to make more positive plays this season though. Game 1 was a mixed bag. It is a new scheme for him, so maybe he'll improve greatly by mid season.

Rams All or Nothing

welp just watched the last episode. Wish we could get that insider look every offseason!

miss Will Hayes :(

Keenum's a great dude.. not a great quarterback.. but a great dude. Him and his wife were awesome.

Les Snead is a boss (with the hair to match) think him and McVay are gonna be a good pair

still don't miss Williams
Fisher.. still don't miss him but it was sad seeing him get the boot. the players loved him. unfortunately the game just passed him by and he was too stubborn to change.

Nfl Sunday Ticket

With a toddler at home, kind of hard to hit the bars this year.

Yeah but a toddler is a GREAT chick magnet, better than a kitten or puppy! I think you should go!

During the Linehan, Spagnuolo days I spent watching the games in bars.

Yeah during that era having multiple bottles of booze very, very close by was always the best plan.

Born and raised in the 626. I'll bring a couple 12ers and my own chair on Sundays.

Wise choice LOL.
