Those smug Seahawks seem concerned

"Rams aren't scoring more then 14 on this defense. More likely it will be 13-10 Seahawks. Thursday games are a horrible indicatior of where teams are at."

That fan is in for a huge shock when they play the Rams IMO. This offense is gonna put up a lot more than 14 against the Shehawks' defense.

Of course we'll make their offense look like the GSoT ah well.

How About Some Receiver Love

Does anyone think its even remotely possible that Tavons ball security issues this season, as well as not being used as a reciever...has something to do with his broken wrist that kept him from practicing in camp and preseason?

Tavon has never shown anything like the ball security issues he has been struggling with this year.
Maybe I am wrong, but I think he is playing without confidence in wrist, but also feeling the pressure to carve out a roll with this new offense and is pressing to make a big play with each of his limited touches.
He has played football his whole life and he has never not been an important part of his teams success.
It's possible but if that's the case he shouldn't be playing. Ball security is job one. If the wrist prevents that sit him down.

What 49ers fans are saying before and after the game

I spoke to a co-worker, diehard Whiner fan, who was at the game and said he had a perfect view of the OPI play. He said that while he absolutely hated the call, it was the correct call.

I asked him about the Donald RTP call. He said he loved that call but thought the call was incorrect. He said it was a clean, albeit brutal, hit. Said he was surprised Hoyer got up and wished Donald was still holding out.;)

Welp, the concerns of some posters are starting to evaporate, huh?

Feels great don't it? Sure would be nice to see the defense do a round turn as well.

It's possible too. That bad game vs the Skins left them no real time to make adjustments with the short week after. I am hopeful now that some padded practices and adjustments to playing time/snaps, i.e. accountability, occur.

If this defense can rebound to even middle of the pack this team is gonna make some noise.

Rams vs Saints re-prediction (LOL)

Well .. think about this ..
* the Rams have 10 days to prep for the Cowpie's!
* The Cowpie's Play Monday Night, so they have a Short week to prep for the Rams!
* The Early betting line on this game is Cowpie's over the Rams by 8 1/2 Points!
* If Wade get our "D's" act together, We Win! I'll be betting LARGE on it, barring any surprises!
Well, since you brought it up----Why they beat Dallas:
*Brockers having any ankle issues against that power blocking O line will be a huge problem. Also, Brockers takes advantage of centers better than almost anyone; he won't be taking advantage of the 325 Frederick at center, or Martin at RG. Brockers gives the Rams a chance; tough, smart and a great player!
*Tru Jo has no chance against guys with 'sparq'. Their slot WR and Dez will eat the Rams alive without a passrush. Only Donald has a chance against that line. Quinn will be erased and Collins at RT will easily handle Barwin...though Samson I hope will be rotated in more!!!
*Our corners in general just don't look good to me, at all.
*Dallas O line is the best, and will run it down our throats until we stop it. The Rams will bite on play action, and we don't have corners who can cover 4 seconds down the field....nor anyone to handle Witten.
*Prescott is a good QB, a smart QB, they know how not to lose---actually, like John Robinson's Rams.....just run and run and wear them down---except they have Dak, and Dez and Witten and a few others that the 1983-1985 Ramd didn't have.
*The Rams O can produce, but Dallas will hold the ball for 35+ minutes. Maybe we can put up 24 points....but a well balanced O with Bryant, Williams and that slot WR will eat us alive.

I will bet big against us. I am 3-0 so far betting the Rams, and would love to be 3-1!! I will gladly lose to see the Rams win!!!

But, we can beat Seattle!!!!!!!!!! To me, that is the important game!

Player of the Game

Seriously, where woukd we be without Brockers and Donald??
NT Brockers is leading the front five "D" Line with 15 tackles. Brock had 19 total for the entire 2016 season!

Here the Rams top 4 players
Starter NT Brockers has 15 tacks 0 sacks
Starter Edge Barwin has 10 tacks & 1 sack
Reserve DE/NT (Rookie) Smart has 7 tacks 0 sacks
Reserve Edge Longacre has 6 tack & leads team with 2 sacks

Here's the rest

Starter DE Walker has 5 tacks & 1 sac
Reserve DE Westbrooks has 5 tacks & 1 sack
:notsure:Starter Edge Quinn has 5 tacks & 1.5 sacks
Starter DE Donald has 5 tacks & 1 sack
Reserve DE Fox has 4 tacks & 1.5 sacks
Resever Edge (Rookie) Ebukam has 4 tacks & 0 sacks

Would appear after 3 regular season gms & 4 pre season gms Rams have found future potential starters in new Edge rusher Matt Longacre & Rookie Tanzel Smart.......possible replacements for 2 present starters who stand not to be here in 2018 (Quinn/Walker).

KO Returns

Take the touchback!!!!! It's like what the old timers used to say about the forward pass - four things can happen running a KO out of your own endzone and three of them are bad:

1. Fail to reach the 25
2. Fumble
3. Penalty

Interestingly, it looked like Cooper may have had a nice return on that play where he coughed it up. Still, I hold my breath every time he runs it out of the endzone, expecting a penalty, turnover or (at best) failure to reach the 25. As a matter of fact, I believe one of those three has happened EVERY time so far this year.

Missing Benny Cunningham.
