If you want to change the world

What's wrong with social justice and why do you think he is aiming this at them?

Social justice does nothing. People that furiously tweet or update their status with their one-sided views (whichever side it may be) isn't gonna solve issues. They don't do ANYTHING else besides that. They won't listen to the other side's opinion, why they think differently, or try to come together to form a solution, as illustrated by the speech's boat metaphor.

I don't think he's specifically aiming that speech at him, but it shows that by doing something, anything is better than doing nothing which is what the SJWs do.

Barron and Tree have been great...in coverage

Barron got screened off (picked) on the one pass play for big yards where he made the tackle around the five. Both Barron and Tree have been getting picked off on pass plays. Tree was screened a little on the Zeke TD where he got in good position to make the tackle and blew it.

There may be some truth to this.

But I can tell you 2 critical plays were succesful because of Olgeltree blitzing.

One was on the 2 point conversion. Olgeltrees pressure caused a rushed incompletion on the run.

Another Olgeltree blitz was on the final Cowboys drive where we stopped them to clinch the game.

Tree has been a very good blitzer. He has those long arms that help knocking down pass and disrupting the QB. Hopefully Wade is figuring out what all the players do best and suring up the weaknesses.

If anyone ever doubted how useless QBR is !?!

That's not necessarily true...running QB's that are accurate, can help any team.

Watch Mitch Trubisky this weekend...or highlights closely....Throwing on the move is a very successful scheme...Guy outta Denver...Shanahan used it with much success. With play action passing...the roll out pass is an excellent way to get the ball downfield...deeply.

I agree, qb's that are accurate, who have the ability to run are very tough to stop. I don't qualify pass first, accurate passers as running qb's just because they have great running skills. Running QB's are Mike Vick and Tyrod Taylor, maybe even Aaron Rodgers (the more I watch of him). They are guys that rely on their running skills to have success. If you take away their pocket movement and force them to throw, their success drops significantly. Those types of guys can make bad teams mediocre and good teams mediocre and don't have long term success. They are too reliant on the play calling and their running ability to be a truly elite QB. So I think the problem we have is that we don't have the same definition of who a running QB is. QB's that can run certainly add an advantage but only if they are good QB's too.

Rams game cinematic highlights

What a great team we have to root for this year! Every year I am one of those fans that thinks we are going to be good.

"Oh just wait until Foles gets rolling."

"...and now with Sims-Walker in the fold? Are you kidding? We are LOADED!"

"I think Craig Dahl gets DPOTY this year!"

Eh. You get the idea. (n)

But this year, like a blind squirrel, like a stopped clock, like the dopey guy on Jeopardy that finally got one right, the Rams are good!:yay:

Don't slow my roll! Don't fail me now!

Kick some Seachicken ass!!

Rams on three....Rams!!

I am loving Snead right now

All Rams management from Stan Kroenke, to Kevin Demoff, to Les Snead have been kicking ass and working as a team this last 2 and a half years and it's pretty fun to watch. Looks like the Final piece finding McVay and having him put together a brilliant staff have just made the reward ripe for the taking! This is the start of a Dynasty gentlemen. Shaky as the Pats were under Brady in 2001 everything is lining up and it all starts and ends with the guy on top enabling us to do what we must to be a winning franchise! Soak it up gents!

Rams Coverage

The first third and eight was big to be able to get us in field goal range, so there’s a lot of different playmakers that we feel comfortable with and I think the best thing that Jared has done a good job of through the first quarter of the season is, ‘Hey, let the ball go where my progression based on the play call dictates.’ And that’s why I think you’re seeing guys get involved.”

That quote really reinforces the importance of spreading the ball around and how crucial it has been for this offense.

What McVay said to Tavon

If Gurley had dropped that TD pass the Rams might well have lost the game. Now, IF Tavon would catch that pass I agree, he'd get into the endzone faster than Gurley did. But out of ten throws how many would he flub? And when it goes live, and the team absolutelyfukkin needs it what is he going to do?

The reason TA isn't running the same routes Gurley is: he's not as good as Gurley. There is a REASON that Gurley now is doing what TA should be doing. There is a REASON they went out and got a deep threat at WR. The reason is TA is not good enough for the team to depend on him executing either at a high percentage.
