Vikings game is the cement

This game is key. I know they all are, but think about it.
  • We've just gone through the weakest portion of our schedule and have won each by double-digits
  • The media is clearly taking notice, but *almost* all comments are followed by disclaimer of weaker schedule and the tough games coming up
  • This is the beginning of a gauntlet facing division leaders in more than 1/2 of our remaining games
Sooooo, when (not if) we beat the Vikes, the conversation turns from "Look who the Rams have to play" to "Well they still have to play the Rams" for every other NFL team on our schedule. Rams will be cemented in as a no-joke elite NFC team.

I can't wait.

I am not so sure. The Vikings only beat one good team. So that won't be the game to change the narrative. Most won't beloeve until we beat the Saints and Eagles too. Then the talking heads will say, " I like the Rams but this team has never won a playoff game."

Saints, Rams, Vikings - Who is most likely to win the NFC? | UNDISPUTED

Soooooo....

The Rams win, and it's because of an "easy schedule." Why don't the Vikings or Saints have the hard schedule when they face the Rams???

Did Skip just praise SF for "almost" beating the Rams....when the Rams "almost" beat teams it was exclusively the Rams are a bad team.

I've never seen a winning team discredited as much I have the 2017 Rams.
skips just buthurt because the cowboys almost beat the rams

Jamon Brown

At the time I thought it was a brilliant move to take Jamon with his tackle abilities and convert him to guard.
I then thought it was a very boneheaded move to continually move him from left to right guard and not let him settle into one spot.
I also thought that was not going to work to try to switch Havenstein and Brown.

The only thing that I could see slowing Jamon Brown down was our offensive line coach switching him around and the injuries.

I also felt that injuries were the only thing that was slowing Havenstein down, that and missing Camp entirely.

Los Angeles Rams - Chances of making the playoffs: 85.2%

Each year I follow the Super Bowl odds during the year and post them on a couple of forums. The last time I posted them was after Rodgers went down in the Vikings game. I noticed how the Rams got no respect until then. BTW current odds for the Rams winning the Super bowl are 12-1

What Texans fans are saying before and after the game

It's dubious that Kaep is in game shape. There's good shape, and there's NFL shape. From what I've repeatedly heard, it is almost impossible to be in NFL shape without some time in practice against NFL players. So I would doubt Kaep would have the athleticism at the moment to do things like he used to.
Take a peak at some of these NFL QB's...not the same monster as a lineman, running back/llinebacker, or wide receiver/corner back....just different physiques necessary to play. His only concern would be shoulder soreness...and that would come from the volume of throws needed to develop chemistry IN PRACTICE.

Any notable Ram injuries?

  • Sean McVay shares good news on Rodger Saffold's injury after Rams win

Just about everything went the Rams’ way in their 33-7 drubbing of the Texans on Sunday afternoon, dominating Houston in just about every facet of the game. They did suffer a few injuries in the win, however, though none of them are serious.

Lamarcus Joyner, Sammy Watkins and Rodger Saffold all left with injuries, providing Los Angeles with a few scares. Joyner and Watkins were able to return, but Saffold wasn’t as lucky. He left with an ankle injury and remained on the turf for a few moments before being replaced by Austin Blythe.

He never returned to the lineup, but Sean McVay shared a bit of good news after the win. He said Saffold “just rolled his ankle a little bit” and could have gone back in had it not been a blowout.

Saffold has been one of the best left guards in the league this season, pairing nicely next to Andrew Whitworth. Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like the Rams will have to be without him for any period of time moving forward, keeping the starting offensive line intact.
