I don't trust those numbers. Here's why. If you rank the "on target %", Brock Purdy is #15 (75.5%).

And I'll take that guy over the talented, lazy man on the DL even if he makes a couple of big plays once in a while. I'd imagine, laziness when not checked by the staff immediately, could become contagious."A guys motor never stops." Sometimes it means, he is short on talent.
First 4 all look to be drafted a bit too early. Here is what I mean --- the edge I wanted in this fantasy draft was not there
traded down to get an extra 3rd ... the DIs on the right were the ones
available --- I picked Taylor, PFF didn't like it, but there were DTs, DEs and NTs
all there
Pick one ---
And then whatever you pick, they can work in with Turner, Brown III, DeJuan, Murch and perhaps Hoecht

Had to give a 2025 2nd and 99 to move up. Traded down from 52 to 66 and got 84. This thing is as addictive as it is unrealistic. N.O. was the first victim, Arizona the other. So we traded up to 14 and up from 99 to 84 and only dropped from 52 to 66? Interesting who was the sucker that let us do that?
A favorite of mine in the mock simulatorsAaron Casey a tackling machine plus extraordinary on special teams.

LOL. No…just feel like using trades in a mock inevitably becomes a cheat code.Is that a religious thing?
A Michael Brockers type as far as use, I understand. But as far a production it makes me dislike the selection even more. I used to fight for him back in the day when others posted how the Rams should have drafted Fletcher Cox instead. Ooops.I see a Michael Brockers type guy in Robinson who would be able to punish the OL from a down position. Not sure how much the scheme is going to be tweaked this year, but I remember the Rams occasionally moving Young inside with his hand in the dirt. Robinson could take that role as needed, allowing Young to stay outside—where he was better suited. There would still be two pass rushing threats on the one side.
As for Watson, I have to say that my first choice for that position would actually be Payton Wilson, Should a guy like Verse become a real target and the Rams nail down an Edge in the 1rst round, then Wilson is in play, but it didn’t work out this way in this mock.
Nonetheless, filling that position is imperative, IMO, and Watson having shown well at the senior bowl practices just might be somebody the Rams would be interested in. He’s a heckuva player, I’m just not aware of any off field stuff. That could be the monkey in the wrench.
The bolded is what I have a problem with. If they simply went back to the rule of not allowing a player to assist the runner by pushing him or dragging him forward, the tush push would go away and we'd be back to real football instead of Rugby. I like Rugby but it is not Football.![]()

'Tush Push' rule change: NFL will not propose banning controversial play for 2024 season
The "Tush Push" is here to stay ... at least for the 2024 season. NFL executive vice president Troy Vincent has confirmed that the controversial play will remain a legal play this season, via ESPN. Vincent added that there will not be a proposal presented this offseason that would attempt to ban the play.
While there isn't a strong push to ban it, the NFL will continue to monitor the play, according to CBS Sports lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones.
The "Tush Push" has become the NFL's most scrutinized play over the past two seasons. The play rose to fame in 2022 after becoming an integral part of the Philadelphia Eagles offense. The play helped the Eagles reach the Super Bowl that season while aiding in Jalen Hurts' setting a new quarterback record by running for 15 regular-season touchdowns. He had an additional three touchdown runs during the Eagles' Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The league's current stance on the "Tush Push" differs from reports this past December that commissioner Roger Goodell wanted it out of the game. It appears that is no longer the case.
There are two reasons why the play has received push back. The play isn't safe as it often creates a pile, which increases the chances of injury. Many feel the play also gives the offense an unfair advantage as offensive players can push the quarterback forward. The Eagles had a 93.5% success rate running the play in 2022 and a 90% success rate in 2023, according to The Athletic.
While it has its detractors, the "Tush Push" will remain in the NFL in 2024, and it's up to the league's 32 defensive coordinators to come up with a way to stop it.
Still top 15 minus Stafford, we are paying Kupp, Jackson, Dotson and Big Rob a shitload. They better deliver! And HigbeeI’d like to see this list minus the QB salary.
Doubting Thomasita!!!I think one of the strengths of Trader Les is he is always willing and able to position for his targets. Which means he probably avoids reaching moreso than many of his peers in relation to their board.
Also even though the Rams killed it last year there are no guarantees in the draft. They have had poor ones and I think it is a hard science. They may roll the dice on a guy with medical flags like they did with Gurley. They may opt for upside and get burned.
Hoping for another grand slam group with an elite player at the top. But even though I know they are good at their craft the reality of this exercise and law of averages may work against them. McVay will still win too, that is what he does. But there is no guarantee we see another haul with them hitting on so many picks.
I know you were kidding, its all good.I was kidding. Sorry if that didn’t come thru with the blue font. Sounds like you found a wonderful wife!!
I didn't notice him one way or the other last season. Would have to find a game or two at least to comment on him.Curious. What are your thoughts on Danna? Seems like he may still be ascending.
I’d say LBer has been a weak position in the draft for yearsLinebacker is supposed to be a pretty horrible position in this draft. Roz gives us flexibility to not just desperately flail for one and overdraft a guy. I'm sure we'll take a swing on a guy late or if we love a guy like Cooper, grab him if his value meets our pick.
Apropos of this, whenever there's a position that's considered fairly bad in a draft, you can always get confirmation of that because after like the first two guys on the media's top 10 boards for that position are drafted, NFL teams will end up picking obscure names no one has even heard for the next 10 picks and the players on media boards won't be heard from till way late in the draft.
