Tennessee A Mess!

Well, let's hope he or anybody else wouldn't hesitate to act. IMO, what finally put Tennessee Chancellor over the edge, was the fact that Currie wanted Mike Leach. However, Beverly Davenport seemed to get played by likes Fulmer & Radio Jockey Clay Travis...Again I believe Jeff Brohm would have been an outstanding hire after the Schino debacle, but at that point, it appeared that Currie was on his way out and Phil Fulmer was back at Rocky Top. I do believe their fan base is delusional, but they have not had a winner in a long time and when it comes to social media, Facebook is for all the lonely people and twitter is for irrelevant people, who want to be relevant.

It’s another team that needs to turn the page. Having Fullmer back is like the strangle hold Paterno had on Penn State. I
Being able to move on and look ahead ended up being refreshing.

KUPP & WOODS? SONOFA.....~Pete Carroll

Go back to 2016 when the LOB, WAS the LOB. Tyrrod Tayler threw to Robert Woods, and Woods responded:

Robert Woods: 10 catches for 165 yards at CLink.

Cooper Kupp: from Yakima, WA and played for Eastern Washington State during several fall's and winters. Playing in front of his family and friends at CLink, and is the only Rams WR with a chance at 1000 yards this year.

Jared Goff: "Put some more water on it, I don't care." (Goff throwing with his "small" hands before the NFL Draft)

Hey Todd, their three corners better eat their Wheaties on Sunday, having to cover Woods, Kupp, and Sammy. I'm coming to YOU in the screen game...and yes, you're welcome...

Rams Johnny Hekker donates to fire victims

Local news here in So Cal showed Johnny Hekker handing out donated items at the fire evacuation center at the Ventura County fairgrounds.

He went shopping and bought clothing and other items and then drove up to Ventura to hand these items out at a rescue shelter.

Sorry I don't have a link.

What an unselfish act from such a great guy. This act alone defines his character.

Hekker is probably the player I would most like to hang out with..........he's just a good egg. He reminds me off the field of SJackson. Just quality human being types of guys.

McVay has only been outcoached in 3 of the 13 games, IMO.

In the Chris Long strip, Williams ran Long waaayyy past the QB. IMO, he did his job. Jared simply held the ball too long but McVay won’t throw him under the bus.
Not saying that Williams didn't give him time ... he did, but he also ran Long outside to Goff's back, which is not only a hard place to see and react to, but also a great place to get stripped as he's going back to throw.

In addition, that route he was looking to go to, at least to my untrained eyes, looked to be recently open, so if the timing was right for that play, he just didn't have the time unmolested in the pocket to complete it, that or the receiver was slow getting to it.

Also, it looked like Gurley was wide open on a route that took a lot less time to develop, in what to me looked like an area that could have been turned up field for nice yardage as well.

My point is that you have blame to go around on that down. A different call may have put Williams in a better position against Long so early in the substitution, so while it is a little bit of a twist it's not untrue that he could find a way to take the blame for it, and taking advantage of that quick strike to Gurley could have avoided the whole mess.

I'm not bent about the offense at all in that game. Both tackles went down to injury, and they handled it well for a team that supposedly doesn't have a lot of depth in that position. Man it really is great to be talking about nuances like this after that shit show we saw last season.

For Any Eagles Fans Lurking

That's beside the point.

I love Goff. He's on his way to being an elite QB. But he's not there yet and to deflect his responsibility of being safe with the ball at that point and time in the game is wrong. He learned a valuable lesson there and hopefully takes it with him moving forward, because there are more tough games ahead where that should benefit him.

Goff has a history of learning from these situations. He just turned 23 a couple months ago. He's got 20 career games under his belt. But he's got a very good mentality for the position. I have a feeling we're going to see improvements in areas of deficiency sooner than later.

I wasn't sure if Goff was a flash in the pan the first half of the season. But the poise and confidence he's shown since the Minny loss has impressed me. 26, 32 and 35 points in the 3 games since. He's a confident but not cocky kid.

His late game play wasn't good last time but it might be a blessing in disguise. He knows what happened. I have all the confidence in the world that he'll get better and be considered a clutch player at some point.

Week 15 Power Rankings

OK, someone help me out here... SEA is still the class of the Division, but they're ranked 9th and the Rams are ranked 4th... sounds like fuzzy math to me.

Seattle remains the class of the NFC West until Los Angeles can knock them off, making Sunday's game a philosophical and practical must-win for one of the NFL's most fun teams. - Srinivasan
Probably similar to a team being super bowl champs until they're knocked off. Seattle hasn't been knocked off their perch...YET.

Saffold destroys 2 defenders during the same play

I really took heart in the fact that the doctors told him that essentially the shoulder surgeries only made him better as his natural shoulder construction wasn't optimal for such a big guy.

I think I said this before, but when he had good players next to him so that he could focus on his job and beating the guy in front of him, he's always been at least pretty good and sometimes downright nasty.

I'm so happy for him.

I dunno that he's the most improved...I mean when you look at Goff and Gurley... it's hard to think that... but he might be as high as 3rd most improved with the change.

Another huge compliment to the new coaches.
