Did you guys ban RedAlice?

Red is over the moon like the rest of us Rams fans after yesterday’s disaster.
She’s a great Rams fan.
I’ll let her know y’all send your regards
As we’ve said, this board is not for everyone, nor is everyone for this board. I wish all Rams fans well. I just didn’t understand why she had to be so rude to the Lou and Rams fans from there.

Water under the bridge and I think it’s time for this thread to be locked.

Cheers and GO RAMS!!!

Rams projected playoff run (fr other board)

I think the Falcons is the best match up. Some inside knowledge with having LaFleur on our staff now and the biggest reason is just the intangibles of having getting crushed by Atlanta last year as being the low point in LA for the Rams and these players.

BTW, I thought Barwin looked a little quicker yesterday and was around Wilson alot...I mean I know half the team was around him,but being off 3 weeks seems to have been good for his legs and he looked fresh. A good sign for the playoffs.
Excellent point on Barwin....I didn't see it....I know that Barron and Alec O need some new legs, too!

Didn't think that far about the Falcons---good point. I really hate Matt Iced up as bad as I used to hate Brady....I don't know why....

Playoff scenarios

Actually, the Conference record would be the same. It's the division record that would they would have.

Rams only need to win one of the last two to take the division.

Yes, I stand corrected, by the Vikings fan ;) after a long night :burp:. If for some UNGODLY reason the RAMS drop their next two and the Seahacks win their next two the Seahacks would take the division with the better division record :puke:, but there’s no reason to discuss this any further because that ain’t happening!

Wish list for next year

There's some crazy talent on this team already. First priority should be to resign our own guys that are both young and so good that you want to build your entire team around them (Donald, Joyner, NRC, Safford, Watkins, and possibly Tru - soon also Gurley), or just plain good football players that help elevate the entire team (Sullivan, depth players across the board).

Then see what you have to work with. Can you do something in FA by then, or do you just move on to the draft? Keeping our own guys on the team is paramount moving forward. If the Rams can accomplish that, I'm happy.

The results from this upcoming weekend are in...

1. Rams 42, Seahawks 7 (too sweet for words)
2. Eagles 34, Giants 29 (still wins in vegas!)
3. Vikings 34, Bengals 7 (nailed it)
4. Saints 31, Jets 19 (same score as infamous loss to Steelers in our 1st Super Bowl)
5. Panthers 31, Packers 24

Not perfect but you still would have made some $$$ if you backed my dream :)

The only one that mattered was our pounding the Hawks...
Honestly, very nice predictions.

Rams D now 5th based on PPG, Rams O tied for 1st

Lol, he is a qb killer.... Did he play today becuase i dont recall hearing his name. And he is tackling machine

He got injured, and Littleton stepped in for him.

You know who is having a really good year....
Michael Brockers.
37 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
He is just very very good. More than the stats say. 37 tackles for an interior DL is a bunch.
Quinn suddenly has 8.5 sacks as well.
Looking forward to Donald reaching 13 sacks this year. A DT in the teens with sacks is also rarified air.
Rams may not end the year with a 1000 yard receiver. Probably won't. But man they spread the ball around. Much preferable in terms of forcing defenses to worry about multiple things.

Quinn is on fire right now. He's playing the best I've seen from him since 2013/2014.

Troy Hill Next Man Up!

Maybe Hilll is buying in. Maybe he is not drinking and has gotten serious about his game and Reggie Scott's plans to stay healthy and focused. There seems to be a ton of buy in on this team.

Here is another thought. Maybe it is game planning. Between Wade and McVay they should be able to analyze opponents well. The Seahawk receivers are not a dominant unit until the play breaks down and Wilson scrambles or runs, then dbs drop coverage to get in position to stop him if he gets to them. The second they do that the receiver gets open and Wilson throws the ball. Maybe they said don't pay any attention to his scrambling unless he crosses the line of scrimmage. Don't drop coverage at all. Wade talks about discipline with his defense. This type of coverage discipline would and I think did work against Seattle. I think Jacksonville did the same thing. Wilson is not Kaepernick. He doesn't burn defenses with long speed.

Give him the short gains and take away the big play and his amazing trickery is foiled.

18 years ago the Rams had a fairy tale season...

I believe the foundation has been set. I don't feel the "uber" confidence I had with the GSOT team that won superbowl 34. But I can say this. The window has opened to win championships. We have a young and innovative coach, a young franchise QB and a good defense.

Not everyone will be back next year due to salary cap but I honestly believe the Rams will win a Lombardi trophy (or three) under McVay. I really believe that because he has installed a new mindset of accountability and winning.

Thomas calls out Wagner! Trouble in Seattle

My friend from Seattle, a die-hard Seahawk fan, turned the game off before half-time. I never do that. I watched every Rams game to the end. And Charles Davis spoke too soon when he said he 12th man would stay to the end cheering just as loudly for every good play their team made. They were bolting for the exits by the start of the fourth quarter. That is what I don't like about that fair weather fan base.

Now Earl Thomas is reflecting that same mindset. They lose badly and start bickering and pointing fingers, instead of being classy and complimenting them Rams win.

KC TD catch????

Two more today. James for Pittsburgh and it just happened with an Oakland receiver. The ball with James moves too much but when does the "breaking the plane" rule take effect?? Seems that happens first. The Oakland play was called a catch, then confirmed as one even though the ball moves more to me than the ball did with Hunt. Utterly confused!!!!!!!!
