Game plan for Sunday

I know it’s a “we, not me” team.

But there are a few players within sniffing distance of some worthy statistical achievements.

Goff
Gurley
Kupp
Woods
Quinn

It might be a shame to see them fall short because McVay rested them.

Or am I just being bloodthirsty in my desire to crush the Niners? Lol.

Jon Gruden to coach the Bucs in 2018?

Do many lifelong OLine coaches become OCs? Does he have any background calling plays, or creating an offensive passing scheme? Kromer to OC sounds like a Boras move

Yes, and the ones who are smart enough end up being quite good. Andy Reid for example.

Kromer's not only smart, but he's got experience designing run game concepts and working under McVay makes him an obvious OC hotlist candidate. IMO.

Need a laugh? Then read this.

This guy needs to be drug tested before Christmas. He might be the worst coach ever.

No Jeff, the new coach is showing that coaching does matter, you say your players then why is he getting them to perform?

You have always been an overrated coach and this proves it.

Fischer is partially right. With the rams having primarily the same roster, this is good evidence that fisher should NEVER (emphasis here) get another head coaching job.

Almost the exact same things Titans fans were saying when he left TENN and got the Rams job... if anyone had bothered to check (I did).

First place schedule BS

I’ve heard fans of other teams say “wait till the Rams play a first place schedule next year”, which is an incredibly stupid thing to say, and here’s why:

• every team has to play their division games, plus one division in each conference. That means that the “first place schedule” affects TWO games out of the season.

• this year, our “last place schedule” netted us games against the Vikings and Saints. Enough said lol

Yep. Your friends don’t know what they’re talking about.
That’s been the case for years.

The "I'm in the Fantasy Championships but lost Antonio Brown" or something similar thread

Semi Finals now on to the finals. Annoying this league insists on going the full 17 weeks.

Not sure who to start next week. Goff and Gurley might not play the full game so I'd have to start Big Ben and maybe JuJu at flex. Already was hurt with Hunter Henry getting hurt, can't find a decent TE. Guy I'm playing has to beat me by more than 17 points in order to take the league from me.

Playoffs: Where every team now stands after 15 games

That would be awesome for sure.
But get ready for a horrible feeling in your stomach as you keep reading.

Can you IMAGINE the sorrow we'd all feel if somehow those A-holes (Sea-holes) came into our stadium and made us a "one and done" playoff team in our first playoff game in 13 years? I couldn't survive it. If we end up losing any games on our quest for the super bowl, it cannot cannot cannot be to the SeaHoles. We would never bounce back from that.

I don't want to play them in the playoffs. Wussel will get lucky again.

Your out of your skull bruh!
Here I’ll have you enjoy some manly enthusiasm from the Krom’s favorite.

The winds of fate have shifted, time to breath them in and salivate it.

Gurley’s X-Factor? His hurdling ability. Highlights inside!

What's stupid is his catch radius and sureness of his hands on top of his running ability. That catch he made behind him against the Titans when he was comin across the middle... There are a LOT of receivers who cannot make that.

That was definitely an underrated catch, especially to keep his forward momentum. He made it look so easy.

Do the Rams stick with Ficken

McVay works with positivity and positivity works FOR him.

He came in and did everything that he did with a lot of positive energy.

He made his decision and being the positive guy he is, he feels good about it.

50/50 that you stick with Ficken and he makes a game-winning field goal for us.

50/50 you bring in a veteran and he blows the game winning field goal for you.

I'll stick with McVay and his positive energy that has got us here thus far.

Did GZ really need surgery ?

I herniated my C4 and C5 disk (lower neck area) that caused shooting pain down my right arm and the needles sensation in my pinky, ring and middle finger 24/7. After 2 stints of physical therapy and no improvement I decided to have surgery. Thankfully the neurosurgeon dissuaded me from going through with the surgery.

I started seeing a chiropractor who after 3 months had made no progress in alleviating my symptoms. Finally he made a different adjustment to my neck and instantly my symptoms subsided away. After suffering for 6 months that was such an emotional relief. At 25 you are still young. Look at all your options before deciding for surgery. At the least consider going through physical therapy. The neurosurgeon did state that even with surgery he could not guarantee that it would resolve my pain.

In regards to GZ I am still amazed he was able to perform in his last game.
Thanks. I get the numbness in my fingers as well. Especially after sleeping. I’ve been to the chiropractor multiple times and it never seems to make a difference. I’m not sure what the answer is but I’m tired of feeling like I’m 90 years old.

Are the 49ers going to be our biggest threat in the coming years ?

The Jags already clinched the division so maybe they were not focused.

They didn't look focused when the Rams beat them either.

They are an inconsistent team, and can be beaten by an average or worse team and can then go out and stomp a really good team. When that D shows up to play they are hard to stop.

I'm sure nobody in the AFC is looking forward to seeing them in the playoffs. The Steelers and Patriots would be road games and in cold weather and I don't think they have played a game in "winter" conditions and that does matter for warm weather teams. But nobody wants them that's for sure.

Potential second round matchup poll

Carolina is 11-4, possibly going to be 12-4. I would rather play the sea pigeons again and let the Panthers and Saints slug it out with the winner going to Philly.

I read somewhere that a Carolina win and a Minnesota loss could result in Carolina getting the #2 seed.

You're correct, I think. Looking at the standings they haven't clinched a first round bye.

**EDIT just found this.....

The Panthers are in the playoffs and have the most seeding volatility of any team in the NFC. They could wind up anywhere between No. 2 and No. 5. Carolina will win the NFC South with a victory over the Falcons and a Saints loss to the Buccaneers in Week 17. In that scenario, the Panthers could elevate to a first-round bye if the Vikings and Rams also lose. At worst, they'll have the higher of the two wild-card seeds.
