Beating Faulk's combined 1381 rushing yards and 1048 receiving yards in his 4'th year would send a message to the league.
Writer discounts the fact that sometimes, even when you KNOW what's coming, there's not a damn thing you can do about it. (See GSOT)
When did they order them though? As I've said, there have been reports that the stadium was not always fast in terms of acting on requests. If that is the case, they might have been ordered before hand, and delayed for any of several reasons out of the Rams' control.
I feel like Hekker isn't underrated, as far as Punters go, he gets lots of credit.
And now my queasiness has returned. My Next #83 - Drew Bennett:
That's disgusting. What were they thinking?

As far as I can remember, six high-profile players holding out from NFL minicamps this year is the highest since the 2011 CBA went into effect. There were four in 2014, and last year, there were none
I'm right there with you. I remember watching Gabriel and Snow connecting, watching Gabriel throw that perfect long ball down the sideline as Snow would run right under the ball in stride, it was a thing of beauty. Man @LesBaker we're getting old.84 will always be Snow to me. And when I see another guy wearing 84 I always think of him because he was the guy when I first laid claim to the Rams as a child.
I agree...kinda. Marc Bulger took a damned mugging behind our crappy OL and in Martz's system which expected QBs to stand in and take hit after hit.
Marc Bulger was a really tough sonuvagun. Every QB struggles with being hit.
That was a good read, Les sure had plenty of options, but followed his passion. Funny Snead was not their first choice for General Manager, that was Vikings executive George Paton, that's right and I spelled it correctly, however, Paton decided to stay in Minneapolis, so the Rams went with Snead, who has proven to be not only a survior, but also the ability to wheel and deal, while also being able to sign quality UDRFA's as well.
Sammy sucked! Not your, Sammy though, because he ruled....fucking rock star.Pretty sure the Watkins contract was 3 yrs/ $48M. Dunno how much was guaranteed, but the bonuses were attainable enough that they count against the cap.
If all he wanted was 3yrs/$30M, the Rams would have signed him without much effort.
I think we made out like BANDITS in the deal, but it is what it is... well, that contract is gonna screw the rest of the NFL, but this year, we made out...

I also miss the longer sleeves with the horn, but that is not coming back with the new style of uniforms today with essentially no sleeves due limiting the ability for your opponent hold your own player etc..
....and the road whites to me were always the sharpest unis in football!!
