Training Camp Video Report from BriansRams

Someone named me "Thread Winner" of this thread. Thank you. I appreciate it.

On a sarcastic note:

I should hope so. I attended camp, filmed video, edited it, uploaded to youtube, and started this thread. Sure as hell better be Thread Winner haha.

:)

NFL Football Starts TONIGHT...Tonight...tonight...

Still don't understand why the team who play in this one get 5 preseason games. Why not just cancel one of the others? I don't mind not featuring in this game often because of this.
I think because greedy owners want so many pre-season games in their venues, to charge full game prices to season ticket owners? The HOF Game is an away game for both, so don't know how much the owners get for it.

Then and now!

I remember Adam Goldberg at G almost fondly. The problem was when they asked him to shift back and replace someone else at LT. Asking an ageing G to play LT shows up the quickness and change of direction weaknesses in their game that are less apparent at G. Sport can be cruel.

Rams At Whiners - Sunday Night Football

Just read on Ramswire that Jared Goff will be featured on the introduction on Sunday Night Football! Prime time baby!

https://theramswire.usatoday.com/20..._medium=recirc&utm_campaign=rail-most-popular

Jared Goff’s jerseys may not be flying off the shelves the way Carson Wentz’s and Nick Foles’ have been over the past six months or so, but he’ll be at the center of attention several times this season. He and the Los Angeles Rams will play in primetime five times in 2018, meaning the bright lights will be on the third-year quarterback.

They’ll also be on him every week as a part of NBC’s open to “Sunday Night Football” in 2018. According to Tom Rock of Newsday, Goff is among the players to be featured in the intro, joining four other Eagles players, as well as others.

yahoo.com: Dream team? Rams load up to win a Super Bowl

:mrburnsevil: I'm excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think most of us haven't been this excited since 2000 when we came off the Superbowl win. Going into last season all I was looking for was improvement from Goff and the offense. I just wanted some hope for the future. Its crazy how far we've come. My expectations are sky high. Anything less than a NFC title appearance won't satisfy me. And that is a good thing.

CAMP REPORT Mon July-30 Camp Thread

Kevin Peterson played really well against the 49ers in the last game of the year and that has transcended into a good camp thus far, you can never have too many CB's, so this is a great sign.

I really liked the way Kevin Petterson plays.
He is a good ball hawk. Troy Hill played real well against the Falcons in the playoffs.
Will get a better look today.

CAMP REPORT Tue July-31 Camp Thread

I loved the Reynolds pick and thought he flashed a bit last season. But the NFL is a meritocracy, and requires results for a player to earn his place in the position pecking order.

Reynolds needs to impress pdq or he will slip down the roster to the point that he will never see the field.

Not unlike Higbee. Loved the pick at the time but now I’m underwhelmed. I sure expected more.

Paranoia Over at Tards Nation

But that's the issue @fearsomefour he did not go down, he was listed as day to day for several weeks and then when he tried to come back, he could not even stand up straight, it was downright unnerving. I really thought, okay, he will never play again and was no longer in the conversation for the Vikings. I expected Bradford to retire and amazingly, he signs with the Cardinals.

I expect this to go like it did with Steve Bartkowski back in 1986. Bradford might play a game or two, which I doubt and then he'll be done and Rosen will be their QB for the next several years IMHO.
I remember.
Chris Miller still playing when he was getting concussions when there was not even contact.
He was moving fine in the camp film I saw.
That means nothing of course.
Big difference between exercising and playing.
