Los Angeles Rams inside linebacker Mark Barron played in 14 games last season while battling Achilles, knee, shoulder and thumb injuries. During the offseason, Barron had surgery on his right shoulder to repair a torn labrum and his left heel to remove bone spurs.

The surgeries and nagging injuries caused Barron to miss Los Angeles' offseason program, he didn't play in any preseason games and reports from training camp said the linebacker participated in portions of practice such as walk-throughs but didn't take part in full team drills.

The former St. Paul's Episcopal and Alabama standout missed the first four games of the regular season with an Achilles injury that just wouldn't seem to go away.

But on Sunday, Barron finally made his 2018 debut, and he didn't coast through it.

Barron led the Rams with nine tackles in a 33-31 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

"I feel like I played well considering I ain't played full-speed ball in eight months," Barron said. "Like I haven't ran full speed in eight months, so I felt like I played well considering that. But I didn't feel like I was back to my top speed."

Felt so damn good to be back out there and be apart of this one today. #RAMSNATION #MOBSQUAD https://t.co/il5wVfTu4h

Barron helped the Rams battle past the Seahawks in an NFC West game that allowed Los Angeles to emerge from the fifth Sunday of the season as one of the NFL's two undefeated teams.

"He looked like he was flying around pretty good," Rams coach Sean McVay said of Barron during his postgame press conference. "I think he's feeling good right now. Until you go back and truly watch the tape, it's always tough to say, but it was good. You could feel Mark on a couple of those plays with the way that he's able to close, pursue sideline-to-sideline. It seemed like he did a nice job today."

Am I letting my Rams bias get the best of me?

I don't play fantasy sports but I have a funny story about it..........

I had a guy working for me that was a huge fantasy player......multiple leagues in football and basketball. He loved it!

One league he was in had an automatic random draft. He got Warner, Faulk and Bruce among others. But those three had him gloating big time.

It was just before the 2002 season. He was miserable LOL.

OMG what if?

Not entirely unrelated, but I’m still haunted by that missed FG by Wilkins against the Titans, and the 4th and forever pass the Lions completed against the Rams in 1999 to give us our first two losses (in a row). It felt like we were gonna have to endure the biggest let down season of all time.

Rams at Seahawks - Week 5

We were the fifth ranked run defense coming into the week in yards per game. Hopefully, it was just an anomaly. Brockers had the worst game I've ever seen from him.
I think the problem is the personnel it this defense are better suited to a 4-3 defense. I think Wade Phillips needs to come to that conclusion and change it up!!!

I have NFL Game Pass and I'm going to look at every running play Seattle had and see where the breakdowns are. Despite the bad officiating I don't think the Rams adjusted well at all defensively.

Let's Rate the Rams Pass Rush Against the Seahags.

What little controversy the 4-0 Rams have had has been the lack of sacks from the defensive line early in the season despite the four sacks against the Vikings last week. The Rams rank number one in pressure percentage from PFF but, is that enough. Has the lack of pass rush from the edge allowed quarterbacks to avoid the pressure pass rush up the middle?

I thought it would be interesting to have a thread rating the Rams pass rush against the Seahags. Whatever observation you see. Individual and group ratings. Interior and edge pressure. Early, middle and late game pressure. How the pressure is disrupting Wilson and the Hags offense.

Special consideration to the run defense should also be noted. You can't ignore the run to get pressure on the quarterback.

How many undefeated teams after week 5

If such a scenario occurred, the entire Horns team (i.e., offense defense, special teams, coaching staff, administrative brass, the grounds crew, the ball boys, the gatorade boys, ROD, the rest of the Horns fans, & the entire city of Los Angeles) will do everything! their collective power to ensure a Blue & Gold victory!!!
Imagine, how would the fight for LA end, if the Rams were undefeated in Super Bowl run? Our team would be historic, and the freakin' Chargers might as well move to San Antonio in 2019.

Press conference with Pete Carroll: "Slow them down"

Kurt Warner and the 1999 GSOT made them eat those words. In their first meeting that year in St. Louis, the Rams were up 35-10 at half-time and cruised to a 42-20 beatdown. In the second game in San Francisco the defense dominated with a 23-7 win.

That was my favorite game of all time. The euphoria of watching that beat down was otherworldly.

Rams most watchable team in the NFL

Redzone is awesome, but I agree with the premise. Give me a full game. Unfortunately when the schedule makers force feeds us Dallas EVERY week of the year as either the late afternoon or night game almost everyone goes elsewhere.

I much rather would have wanted to watch Saints/Falcons in the late afternoon over the terrible Dallas/shitbird game. Or Jax/KC at night over Dallas/Houston this weekend.

I hear you. I've grown tired of watching the Steelers on here a lot in Phila. Get the Skins and the awful Giants too.

I've been streaming the good games. Late games seem easier to get a good feed. Everyone here starts talking about a good game I will stream it.

Nah, majority of the country gets Dallas every week in the late afternoon. Ironically, being where I am thanks to NFL and network rules I've been getting the late Rams games because of the early Texans games.

We get Dallas too on late games. They are no fun to watch.
