Ref for Rams@Broncos - We get a rookie

Central Valley gets screwed again. Fox shows only one game and its the London game at like 6AM. Why wouldn't they put it on CBS do like the Denver area is doing and not airing a late game because of the RAMS game will be on FOX. No they air the chargers and browns. Jeez shouldn't cancelled Sunday Ticket.

I'm sure the raiders and Seahawks is a 1pm eastern game.

Rams Claim DB Darius Williams off Waivers - Roster now at 53

It was decided for me before birth. My Grandmother was good friends with Bobby Bowden. Kinda funny too because both of my Grandparents on the other side went to UF.

My oldest graduated from UCF. You've seen @Ramrasta around here I'm sure. He's a civil engineer now... but he is still going to the Knight games and we love us some Knights! 2017 National Champs baby!!!

My twins are currently juniors at FSU. Home at the moment due to the hurricane... the campus closed down on Tuesday for the whole week... so I have twin boys and a girlfriend eating me out of house and home till Sunday... then they'll head back up to Tallahassee.

I don't mind the Miami Hurricanes. I have friends who went to school there. I'll root for them if they're not playing the Noles or Knights.

But let me tell you... there's nothing more obnoxious than a gator fan. I hate the gators and their swamp. You are either a Nole or a gator... there is NO in between. Biggest rivals here in the Sunshine State.

Make no mistake, the biggest rivalry in Florida is no longer FSU vs UF. It’s UCF vs USF in the War on I4!

Cooks and Kupp......

I have no problem with what Philly is suggesting...giving the other guys some playing time.

1. McVay is still scheming things and calling plays. He’s not going to put them situations they can’t handle
2. It gives our main guys some rest
3. We still have Gurley, Woods, Higbee, Everett...with Goff at the helm.
4. Reynolds in particular has been in this offense since last year, and it sounds like he has the trust of this staff. He’s no slouch. And Hodge has only looked good (but needs refining) in his chances
5. It gives these guys an opportunity to knock some rust off. Who wants the back-ups to be called upon in a playoff game or key situation with few, if any, snaps under their belt? The reps build their confidence, skills and knowledge.

Nobody is advocating sabotaging our chance of winning games. But giving these guys some opportunities is a good thing, regardless of the injury status of other players.

McVay/Kromer press conference + Farr/Simmons Mailbag 10/10/18

It is so much nicer to watch these press conferences when we are winning. No excuses. No "we are just going to have to get better" talk. Still self-scrutiny from McVay, et. al., but just trimming around the edges to get even more dominant. Further ahead of the challengers.

It is also nice to see the depth at all the offensive positions (sans QB) that we can absorb injuries. I have been surprised that is not the case on the defensive side. I am really anxiously anticipating the linebacking positions coming together. Ultimately I think the combination of Okoronkwo/The Law Firm....-Barron/Kiser....-Littleton-.....Ekubam will be taking most of the snaps by years end.

30+ points per game over the first 5 weeks. Of the 4 previous teams to have achieved such a feat, 3 competed in the Super Bowl a few months later.

Cooks and Kupp participate in walkthroughs

He said GZ probably won't kick this week either. Another week away. That's ok as long as he gets healthy. But bummer not to give him a shot in the Denver air if the chance arises at a record breaking kick hehe. Great news on Kupp and Cooks though.

Really no reason to risk GZ in the cold. That would be a quick way to aggravate an injury such as a groin.

Muchas Gracias @SteveBrown !!

A few random uneducated thoughts:
- lol at the she's punter on the kick-offs. Even Matt Stinkin Longacre has hands as soft as butter on this team, fielded 2 of those pooch kicks. He needs to work on that pass rush though, sigh... but I guess they were scared of Blake Countess??? lol, he almost took it to the house his first return. Matt trudging downfield with the ball was awesome! got us some yards, by golly.
- We simply cannot get to the QB, either by design (playing contain??), or we're getting held every play. I didn't see a lot of holding, though on the she's 3rd TD (?), one of their OL had 99 in a standing choke hold for like 3 secs, I think AD was tryin to get it called but no luck, and MP then gave up the TD. This cannot possibly be legal.
- The announcers said the WR was in bounds in the back of the EZ but I really think he stepped out. They didn't even try to get a different camera angle on that. MP looks like he slowed a bit knowing he was out of bounds. Shame the refs were stinkin blind this game. This one was not on MP, though possibly the other 2 were.
- The long run by Carson (dude's not bad), he was tackled & down but then a she blocked our #43 in the back & blew him 10 yds down field. Again, no flag.
- Santos is not bad, but he is no Greg the Leg. Legatron would've put the ball out of the EZ every time, but Santos could barely get it past the pylons. really miss GZ... :(
- It seems like, in the 4th, when we absolutely need a sack, they line up Suh in the OLB spot. He's slow, but he just swats the OT out of the way & tackles Wussell in almost exactly 2.5 secs. We can't get pressure from anyone else, except for Littleton. I don't think he can hold up at OLB though, he's best at stunts & delayed blitzes. We desperately need a real OLB, who's bigger faster & stronger. That said, I'm so impressed w/ Littleton, great at ILB, but.... I think he'd be better at WSB
- Was JFM in this game? I think he could've had an impact. Saw lots of Longacre though, he was Ok but I don't think he got a lot of pressure. He had a coverage sack that was nullified by penalty -- holding downfield by MP (sigh). Or it may have been one of NRC's holds.... regardless, our CB's need to be careful of when the QB is moving in the pocket vs. scrambling / running - can't start mugging the WR until the QB starts running guys.
- Second game I've seen Shields with at least 2 "almost got it" INT's. He's gonna catch those someday soon. One looked like a sure pick 6 if he could've caught it cleanly.
- Reynolds, by golly, 3 straight possessions, marched us right down the field. Very impressed by him, and Khaderel (?) with the nice catch for a 1st too, good job guys.
- Everett with a nice catch as well.
- I won't even get into the obvious: our QB, OL, WR's, RB's, TE's, this O is absolutely humming. Just pounding guys. Being down 7 after the tipped-pass INT, I had no fear. If not for the bad spots / calls, we'd lay a 40 burger on em. In their own house.

Go Rams.
