Must watch the Saints like the Patriots

Asshole Face has proved himself to possess very little resistance to the same dubious win-at-all-cost philosophy — including cheating — as Bill Belichick...

Double check all necessary tech equipment; change around some signals and play calls; watch for peripheral spies, and bring your own team chef (lol...jk on the last one)...

Main point: be hyper vigilant going into Asshole Face’s Superdome.

Victory Monday

Point blank, Packers had an extra week to game plan. They had some guys return from injury. They held an early 10 point lead, at times had home field advantage. And despite a horrible first half and lack of holding calls. We are still missing our number 1 corner, our safety value wide receiver in Kupp. Yet we find a way to win. 8-0 Baby!!!!

Rams still score 29 points (possibly 7 more at the end)
Todd Gurley still gets 114 on the ground and almost 90 in the air.
Jared Goff throws for 3 touchdowns and nearly 300 yards (out dueling the HOF Mr. Rodgers)

Lets keep this train moving and enjoy yet another victory Monday

VPN’s Uses for Streaming NFL Games

Yeah, the problem has been the lack of VPN for me....I was using Windscribe’s free access until it ran out a few minutes ago....My Buffstream stopped cold after it expired. It must be that somehow my internet service blocks me from viewing NFL Sunday ticket games somehow.....I was using Western Canada, and the Red Zone popped right up.....Now, I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch the Rams game, dammit!

What did you learn from week 7?

We have the #1 rushing offense in the NFL. McVay doesn’t forget about the running game all that much.
This doesn't make the point though. It's not about "forgetting the running game".

What I'm referring to deals with "in game" situations where the decision to run the ball was a better one. In fact, you help my point that the Rams should rush more, which leads to better time of possession, keeping the opposing offense off the field.

We all know the NFL is a passing league. McVay has great innovation in the passing game no doubt. Every week in the game thread you find many of us scratching our head about down and distance situations where running the ball was the better option. Often times it becomes a moot point because the Rams succeed...however success doesn't negate the point that running was the better option.

Is it just me......

At first, I thought the Rams should have this game no problem. Look how Frisco almost beat the pack at home. Then as the week progressed, I hear about 2 of their 3 top receivers were out and now coming back. I didn't realize Cobb had been out. That is a huge loss for them, so that alone makes them better. Then I hear Rodger's knee is almost back and he will be much more mobile. Not to mention coming of a bye. Offensively they have me worried, especially if we can't get that outside rush going to keep him in the pocket. It looks like more than 70 points could be scored in this game.

I think Gurely will have a huge game rushing the ball. Goff will have over 350 yrds. Come the 4th quarter it will be close and our 4th quarter defense will be up against Rodgers 4th quarter heroics. I hope the D is up to it again.

JoJo Natson

Good to know. Means they'll probably have a nice competition going, which is good for all.

Imploding in a playoff game is a big deal. It's not something we can dismiss, and what the coaches would be looking for right now from Pharoh is a rebound over these regular season games where he re-establishes himself as an elite returner. But he got hurt and that has not happened. Equation has changed now a bit.

Recency bias is part of the game. I remember fans saying that Green would get the QB job back once he got healthy back in '99 when Kurt Warner was still establishing himself. Didn't happen. Not saying Pharoh can't bounce back and re-take his job either. But he's going to have to work for it and prove he's that guy who tore up the league during the regular season last year.

I agree, coaches will make the decision. You nor I will not. 'Natch.

McVay is Building A Dynasty

ROD brothers, I meant, I believe McVay is building a dynasty. I know we are nowhere near being a dynasty. But somehow, knowing that Sean is our coach, I honestly believe that we have Super Bowl Titles in our future, even if it's not this season (but damn I want one this season). I guess I'm saying I'm really confident that McVay will turn this team into a contender almost every year.

As much as I lost confidence in Fisher, I feel that confident in McVay. I believe McVay's success is why Fisher is still unemployed. Although props to Fisher for drafting a core of great players.
