First Look: Rams host Seahawks for Sunday Night Football

Just random thought but I wish we had a fullback on this team. I hope we pick one up in the off-season. A real run blocking one. Every time a team goes into the 6-1 defense start bringing in the fullback and start blasting your way into that scarcely defended second level.
They could just put mundt in that spot. He did well in the Chicago game.

Panthers fire Ron Rivera

I'll be very surprised if Rivera doesn't get another HC job. It could happen if he turns down certain jobs. Maybe he goes to college. Either way I don't see him taking a DC job in 2020. I'm not going to criticise him or the Panthers for this move. It feels like both side need a change. The new HC should hold on to Newton until after the Draft. He could be a 1 year $19.1M stop-gap starter depending on who they pick.

...and I like Shurmer where he is. :sneaky:

Peters being Peters

What is interesting is even though everyone's all over the Ravens' nuts right now their secondary is suspect while ours has more upside. I really think that worm is going to turn and whether or not the Rams get into the playoffs they should end up with a group that is greater than the sum of its parts. Might take until next year until they live up to it but it's coming IMO.

The Ravens imo are a fun team to watch. It’s exciting. The Niners are building a very tough team. The Seahawks with Carroll have always been tough.

I think your opinion on The Rams is right on !! Needed to rebuild it going all the way back to Tru & JJ . Snead has been through it all already. Paying Tru way to much while franchising him
Hmm. Just because we lost a few more games? Your lucky you didnt witness the Fisher, Spagnuolo, Linehan Rams

Sad to say I watched all of them !! I’m one of the biggest non-bandwagon ram fans there is.
I’m looking forward to the future as well as the finish of the season. It doesn’t matter if they make the playoffs or not. If they do The Rams Organization Deserves more credit this year than any other years in recent past.

Why I still think Goff is great

In Goff's years 2 and 3 he had a higher QB rating then Peyton Mannings first 6 years.

Manning year 4 and 5 QB Rating 84.1 and 88.8.
Goff year 2 and 3 100 and 101 QB rating.

It took Tom Brady 8 years to have a 100 QB rating.

People need to seriously chillax.

Goff has proven if you give him a decent Oline he will tear the NFL to shreds to a Super Bowl and a #1 offense. And that is with a mid level defense.
Great stats. Sound reasoning. Goff is a drop back traditional passer in the Brees, Brady, Warner mold he is Cam, Lamar, Russell type. To execute this type of offense you must have a solid line when you don't a year like this happens.

Goff I have said over the past several years I believe he can be a HOF QB and really believe this. I think McVay /Snead learned a valuable lesson about getting a strong line in front of this type of QB. I believe a deep emphasis will be put in the off-season on righting the line.

Henderson

He had a couple of impressive runs towards the end of the game Sunday. At this point, other then one run on Sunday, Gurley gets what given too him and doesn't make many of his own yards. When Henderson has it, I feel like he gets more yards then he's given, if that makes any sense. He has more burst and appears to play with more momentum then Gurley at this time. He has made a few rookie mistakes, but, I'd love to see him more involved in the coming weeks. He has homerun potential on every play, something Gurley used to have.
Lol

Rams post AZ game news and notes

"It was great for him to be able to make that play," Rams head coach Sean McVay said. "I was trying to give him a game ball. He was probably doing an interview and was late to get into the locker room."

I think he was doing the jersey swap and a photo with a bunch of old UW players. In the post game speech with McVay you can hear a lot of players start to give Rapp a hard time when he finally comes in and someone yells "That's a fine!" and you can see the Cardinals jersey in his hand, so I think that's what it was about.

Pretty funny though, I really like the group of guys we have in the lockerroom.

Potential travesty

To be honest I’m kind of over the division thing. I get tired of seeing the same teams year after year. The NFL is so obsessed with history that it will never change. But yeah, I wouldn’t mind something different. The NFL loves parity and that would happen more if divisions weren’t a thing. Just the best 12 teams in the league going at it.

People talk about Seattle going at 7-9 in 2010 and beating the Saints. But would that have happened if it was in New Orleans? Probably not. That was a huge advantage being in Seattle. I just don’t think it’s fair to put in teams that have worse records then others.
It really doesn't bother me that the Rams may well miss out on a playoff position to a team with a lesser record ... if people deflect blame there, they'll complain about strength of schedule, officiating, uniform colors or whatever else anyway.

I just think it would be cool and highlight the diversity of schemes and create parity as you stated.

NFL player suspended for betting on NFL games.

Wow, this guy is a moron lol. Put “professional football player” as his occupation on Caesars application. Excellent.

Week 13 2019 - Game Day Menu thread. What's on yours after this Holiday?

I'm doing a Santa Fe style pork loin.

Butterfly cut open the loin then stuff it with green chillies and Monterrey jack cheese. Then roll it back up and cook it.
Sounds like that could also use some crushed garlic stuffed in it. Thanks for the idea my friend. I'll roll with yours as a base then add garlic too. Much appreciated. Peace.

Monday Night, I am a SEAHAWKS Fan!!!

MNF game is now over, of course. Minnesota loses--which I still think was the best scenario for us. Hard-fought game but I sure hope McVay and staff and entire organization has something in mind to find a way to beat Seattle b/c it ain't gonna be easy. The team is much better now than when we last played them. And Russell Wilson is still phenomenal whether you love to hate him or not. Me--I love the competition; it's what makes football and all team sports fun. And I love the rivalry. Go Rams!
