Dante Fowler Jr. sets new career high for sacks in a season in win over Seahawks

Fowler really came on late last year.

Wasn't he the one who tipped the pass that the Rams intercepted in the Saints game? He had a good day that day if I recall correctly.
You sir, are absolutely correct. Initially in the play Fowler was blocked but he executed a tremendous spin move and got right in Brees' grill and hit his throwing arm. The pass went up in the air like a pop up in baseball right into the waiting arms of one John Johnson 111.
And the rest, as they say, is history.

Goff and ads contacts

Is there any way Goff and AD can restructure their contacts to help sign the players we need for next year? Is that even possible or is it only in the contract year they are signing? Lots of players we need to keep who are going to look for their money next year.

Can they ? Sure

Will they or should they ? No

Gurley & Cooks might be talked into restructure in 2021 based on production, snaps & health, but for 2020, it's going to take trades or CAP casualties to increase our available CAP.

Rams, Cowboys are two teams not to be slept on

Dallas has been less than impressive to say the least. I remember people had them Superbowl bound after beat downs of the Giant, Redskins and Dolphins to start the season. Since then they are 3-7. With nary a win over a .500 or better team. Overrated comes to mind. On paper they seem to be pretty good. Not so much on the field.

I can see losing to the 49ers the following week. They are a legit Superbowl contender. There should be no reason to lose to the Cowboys. If we can't beat them we don't deserve a playoff spot.

Oscar!

Dachshunds -
Tammy, a black and tan slept under my crib 60 years ago.

Toby, a red male, lived to be 16 and sat in my recliner with me to watch football. Every day when he went outside, he walked, no patrolled the perimeter of our back yard looking for anything that had crossed over. He killed a snake in the yard while my wife was trimming a hedge and then brought it to her to show his accomplishment. But Toby's greatest adventure was the night that he stole an entire BBQ chicken and drug it home...I can only imagine the neighbor's face when he came out to find an empty grill.

I have an Oscar, a red male given us after Toby passed away. A young nurse in my brother's clinic worked full time and found that she didn't have time to care and play with Oscar. Oscar is in love with my wife; wherever she goes, he follows. He will drag a small throw blanket so that he will have something to sit on in whichever room my wife is in. He may be the smartest dog I've ever seen and my wife swears that he hears and speaks English.

Then we have Candi (with an i; stripper name). She is a miniature dachshund that we rescued from my nephew and his family. Candi is not very smart but very affectionate, especially to me.

They are fierce, comical, energetic and great companions.

I could not imagine my life without dachshunds and I am sorry to hear that your friend has left your side.

As @snackdaddy avatar says, Let me show you why the call me weiner dog!

Really Long---2020: looking forward a bit

Reading comprehension in regards to comments on C and LT would be good on your part.

I stated help at C to compete with Allen. I list Noteboom as back up.

I am not ready to bury Havenstein, now maybe they can trade him, clearing the way for Evans at RT.

Also not giving up on Noteboom. He looked solid when playing LT in 18' preseason and the one game where he played for Whitworth against Niners. I am not judging him on his RG play as it seemed he was out of position.

It should be noted that this team will not have tons of resources to add players across the board.

Its easy to say lets add a LT and a C not to mention DL while keeping Fowler, Littleton, etc...

That is a fantasy. So guys like Noteboom, Havenstein, or maybe even Allen may have to be relied upon.

I overlooked the top notes and went right to the list. If they try starting Allen again then they get what they deserve. I could see Noteboom as a backup, but I don't like his run blocking enough to start him. Whitworth hinted at coming back and would be a little cheaper than trying to sign a stud fresh off the market, looking for his first big contract. I'd try to trade Havenstein. They'll need a backup ORT but maybe Brewer or Noteboom could handle that post.

Instant analysis of Rams' commanding 28-12 win over Seahawks

Let's say we go 11-5 and the Vikings go 12-4...what exactly happens there?
We miss the playoffs
The only way me miss playoffs at 11-5 is if Seahawks, Packers, and Vikings all finish 12-4 or better. We own the 11-5 tiebreaker against all 3 teams.

If the Bears beat the Packers week 15 in the morning game, we control our own destiny before we take the field against Dallas.....because the Vikings and Packers play each other the next week...and barring a tie, one of them would drop to 11-5.

Travin Howard has been getting some time....

I'm really loving this new rotation we're using... Reeder / Littleton on probable run downs, and Littleton/Howard on probable passing downs. Howard was all over the field last night when he was in and make some nice plays.

This keeps Taylor Rapp as more of a pure Safety..a spot he's really fit into well as the season progresses.

I'm just liking us having 2 real linebackers on the field more ....

IF we're able to win out, there's a good chance the 49ers miss the playoffs

Yeah I don't care about the 49ners.... but they are good -been some kind of narrative on this board and in the league to some extent that they will fall over eventually.

Sadly they are legit.
I was one that didn't believe they were actually good at first but it's undeniable now. As much as it pains me to say I honestly look for them to be in the NFCCG. I hope it's against us because the Rams are the only team in the NFC that I have faith in to beat the niners.
