I fart in his general direction. Mediocre and never liked the dude. Agreeing to disagree sounds appealing to me right now too as a matter of fact. Cheers my man.Took over a 3-13 team and went 10-6, that's hardly doing shit. Gave the GSOT a hard time, 4-2 record against
FIFYLet's see how fast the players pick up Staley's scheme without a training camp.
Yeah. I can't complain about the call. This is the NFL. We have benefited in the past and the last thing I want is to whine like the fucking saints and sphincter face. You could say similar things about the Dallas game. We benefited that game from the questionable PI call and were disadvantaged by a blown call on an Int. The reverse happened to us this week. Such is life. This game proved to me that this is a much better team than the one we had last year, and that's what matters the most to me. We have a running game, we have an OL, and Jared Goff looks like the 2018 version of himself (the one from the first 11 games). We had none of that last year.
Login to view embedded media1 down and three to go. Essex win the Bob Willis Trophy, now onto the Rams and West Ham. Great day of sport.....hopefully!
Hendy took advantage and played well but the line was dominant in the run game too. Guy like Hendy is at his best when that happens and yeah it was nice to see him bursting around out there.
Akers will probably settle in with him back there and split duties. Which I think is best for both of them. I don't want either of them to get too many snaps and wear and tear and be all beat up for the playoffs. Use the committee, keep them fresh, and ride that healthy competition.
I do find it a bit “interesting”... when you think about it...
Josh Allen goes from choker to hero... based on that final pass interference call.
I am not blaming our loss on that call... just sort of pointing to the simple fact how different the story would be written if that call wasn’t made. Specific to Josh Allen as a hero. One call.
If it went the other way; he’d be a choker in the eyes of the media. Instead, he’s a hero. The pivot from one to the other.
Dammit, no crow for me.
I couldn't eat, anyway.
Get the food ready for next week, folks... we gonna EAT!!!
I agree with this take... looks like Kupp lost track of both the ball and where he was on the field, so rather than make a risky fielding attempt, he just got out of the way. He probably could have played it better, but at least he didn’t put the team at risk with a turnover. In defense of Kupp, if he can't get under it and isn't comfortable catching it (the sun is in his eyes or whatever) he should absolutely let it roll rather than risk the turnover. That's the kind of play you need to be smart on. Better to let the offense work rather than risk gifting more points.
Eh, those (Gregg Williams) defenses were good enough to win playoff games IMO. Undisciplined sure, but big plays were made, they were uber-physical and the pass rush was ferocious.
There was never any support from the offense. Fisher's units never ranked higher than 21st in points scored.
.
the chargers could have won the game with the lateral pass from allen to ekeler but ekeler dropped it.
i still don't understand why nfl teams don't hire rugby league coaches to teach players how to pass the ball backwards with greater accuracy and incorporate it into the gameplan. just watch some rugby league tries to see how it's done and how easy it is to score instead of trying to block ahead of the runner.
.
Whitworth was dealing with a couple of nagging injuries.
Good grief. At least here a bad call is just that...a game has plenty of opportunities elsewhere.

NFL officiating has become absurd
Of the 3 groups of people that can effect the outcome of games the refs put in the least effort , prepare the least and risk the least but often impact the game the most. The NFL is a true meritocracy and I don’t understand how these zebras aren’t too embarrassed to impose their...saintsreport.com
