Playoff Snap Counts vs. SEA

Sure appears that Samson Ebukam has lost his starting post to Justin Hollins & then Og Okoronkwo. Both are signed for the 2021 season. Ebukam is not.
Interesting that Reeder stayed as starter and Kiser relegated to only STs. All though it paid off big this game with the fumble recovery by Kiser at the perfect time.
Reeder just seems like he keeps getting better & better. Rams are in good condition @ MLB'er with both Reeder & Kiser signed for the 2021 season too.
DLine depth is crazy when Gaines and Robinson barely get any snaps
This DL is most likely one of the best deepest in talent in the NFL. With Robinson/ Brockers/ SJ-D/ Fox/ Gaines the Rams can just utilize Aaron Donald as a designated pass rusher & still have a powerful effect on the Packers OL.

Lots of good news and some bad news...

Same for me, when Goff broke him thumb and our running backs were hurt I thought for sure the season was over, then I was just happy to make the playoffs but beating the Shithawks was glorious, I'm happy with this year no matter what happens now

That's me too.
With this team, the players we have, especially on D, the coaches, the playoffs are the minimum.
Then to beat the Seahawks was the icing on the cake.
Whatever happens from now I'm content.

An observation on a topic that comes up often on gameday

It seems the O often lines up with little time on the clock and has to burn a timeout, this frustrates all of us. I'm sure I'm not the only person to notice many if not most NFL QBs wear a play sheet on their wristband. While I think it great Goff can repeat the playcall after McVay calls it in to him. But if the play is a long sequence, wouldnt it be quicker to just call in 2A3 and then Goff looks at the wristband and tells the O what play is listed on his wristband as 2A3? It may be that our playbook has so many variations of the same formation that the wristband would be like wearing an encyclopedia on his wrist. It just seems it would save a few seconds in the playcall sequence giving Goff a few more seconds at the LOS to see what the D is presenting so he can make the necessary adjustments without have to burn timeouts.

I have to give Goff and McVay some love.

Ive had some pretty choice commentary regarding Goff which I cant take back. That said, gutting it out and leading the team to victory is no suprise to me at all.

Even though he didnt look much different on the outside, I can tell you on the inside Goff gained a few notches on his swagger belt so hats off to him. This game will bode well for our/his future.

I dont know who called that TD to Woods, if it was an audible or not, but what a beautiful and well designed play that was taking advantage of our running success with the play action.

My Personal Game MVP’s

I was mostly frustrated with Hekker yesterday.

Offense - Goff - no turnovers, deep throw to Kupp gave us a lead we never relinquished, scramble play to Akers led to a TD. All on a broken thumb.

Defense - DWill - one of the best defensive plays I've ever seen.

ST - nobody - Ebukam I guess for forcing the fumble. Yes Gay made three FGs but his short kick gave up a FG. We lost hidden yardage over and over again - that I care about that shows how bad our ST unit is.

Honorable mention:

Offense - Akers - he and Goff were basically 1A/1B for me - his ability to make people miss - he's going to be special.

Defense - Ramsey - CB is the hardest position to play aside from QB in the NFL and he just shows up every week. When facing elite WRs, it should be a 50/50 result - instead he has erased Hopkins and Metcalf a combined five times. Metcalf's totals on him in three games are around just 100 yards.

It's shocking and the same way we give AD props for lifting the defense we need to recognize Ramsey

Kupp update

I saw on the Ramswire it's just a stinger.

Man did I want to jump thru the TV after that Cheap Shot, if the NFL doesn't fine Adam's they need some serious HELP.

O and I don't care about penalties etc etc, when someone does that to our Players, especially our Qb,time to Kick some Ass.

No doubt. I was having some dark, unChristian thoughts about Adams after that hit...

but my respect for Wolford SKYROCKETED when he let it go when he met Adams on the field after the game. That's the kind of grace and composure I respect.

Representing in Enemy Territory

Watched this earlier. Petey is taking this loss much tougher than Wilson who spent most of his presser talking about how they're a 12 win team and how much he loves his receivers and how great this season was. Lol.
Yeah that was one of his most honest pressers I've witnessed. I think he was very candid in his answers. Hopefully he'll get a letter from Jeff Fisher though reminding him of how great Schotty is this offseason and he'll decide to keep him around.
