Jets hire 49ers DC Robert Saleh as head coach

Meh

I think the jets continued failure just got extended.

Rah rah screamers grate on players pretty quickly... especially when losses start outnumbering wins. Maybe I'm wrong, but my guess is that this blowhard's ceiling is being a DC as long as the team has a HC who has control. This job is gonna be too much for him. There will be lots of screaming though.

This.

Heck...He might keep being or become a great tactician... but does that translate to the leadership needed at the top of a team?

I have my doubts too. Those Patricia comparisons seem solid. QB in place... etc.

Is Noteboom starting?

Yeah- if he was any good there he would still be a Brown. They have Probably the BEST Offensive Line in The NFL. Hope they beat KC

The Browns were already set there when they traded him. Tretter is one of the best Centers in the NFL. Bitonio is one of the best LGs in the NFL. And Wyatt Teller has emerged as one of the NFL's best RGs. It wasn't about Corbett being any good. It was about him being blocked from starting by other players.

Thanks - I knew that. Not sure if your talking about during that game.

What is your view on Bobby Evans? I’m really high on him. He played his ASS off at RT in2019

I think he'll be a better OG than a RT, but I guess we'll see this weekend if he starts at LG.

Blake Bortles?

Personally, With Wolford being out and with Goff’s health concerns, I am very happy that the Rams have Bortles on their roster! While, I certainly hope Goff can play the rest of the Rams playoff games (Throughout their Super Bowl Win!) I do feel better knowing the Rams have a QB with Playoff Experience! I truly believe that with the Rams Defense, Bortles would at least give the Rams a fighting chance IF needed!

Jalen Ramsey aggress with this post. :ROFLMAO:

Rams have a decision to make at ILB when Micah Kiser returns

I don't know that Kiser is fully back from that injury. If he is then it appears the Rams prefer Reeder.

In terms of their game I think Reeder's value is his strength. The guy is physical. Kiser has a little more change of direction and is better in space.

Neither look good to me in coverage but Reeder has improved a lot in his drops. He is actually in the way at times on the underneath routes and btw Kiser was doing the same early this season.

I don't feel like either move the bar all that much. ILB remains a spot we could get a lot better IMO.
I agree I want to see RBs going backwards not dragging our ILBs down field.

Rams game that turned me into a Ram fan

Ewe, that was the best “how I became a Ram fan” story ever.

Maybe I’m just an old sap, but your story almost brought a tear to my eye.

In his later years, when my Dad and I were going through tough times, football felt like one of the few “safe” topics we could talk about. And now that I’m a Dad myself, of a 14-year old daughter and a 17 year-old son, I know how bumpy things can get.

But the idea of watching the Rams as a way to heal a rift between father and daughter? That got me all:

Aww, makes me tear up too, I love my Dad, BTW I dumped the boy, Dad's always know ;)
